42nd Street Bar & Grill
Everything was great!! Food, service, and ambiance.
Food was Amazing as was are waiter Bill...Highly recommend
The service and food were excellent. Bill was our waiter. He took great care of us. The filet mignon was delightful, arriving at our table in a smoke filled cloche.
Bill was a great host and server! We really enjoyed dining here!
Outstanding service. It was a great birthday dinner. Everyone loved their food and the ambiance was very nice.
Bill and Jason provided us with excellent service and a wonderful overall experience. And Charlie is a master in the kitchen. Go there, have a great time and great food.
Service was great, food was mediocre. We got the snapper and it did not have a Lot if flavor and seasoning. Red pepper sauce also was not very flavorful. Other person in the party got the scallops and beans. They were cooked very well and had good flavor.
Restaurant was great! Some loud people when we first arrived but luckily they left shortly after. The food was delicious and it was a beautiful restaurant
Very excellent dinner. The beef wellington melts in your mouth.
Not up to the expectation I had after reading multiple reviews.
Had a very enjoyable dinner. Great atmosphere, service and the food was outstanding. Would highly recommend it.
Really good food and great customer service
Great food with professional service
Socially responsible dining too
This is one of those restaurants that you pull for to succeed. It's a small restaurant and you have to know the past 6 months have been tough on them, and they had some issues. I ordered oysters as an appetizer and I was told they were out. My fiancé ordered a entrée sirloin dish and was told a filet would need to be substituted as the meat, which is a better cut of meat, so that was good. But I felt that based on the meat substitution and the lack of oysters it demonstrated an issue with inventory. One other issue is that the timing was off with the entrée's. We waited about 40 minutes between my appetizer and the entrée course. Our kids meals came out with the appetizers, so they were biting at the bit to leave even before we had a chance to eat our entree's. That being said the food was delicious and the staff were trying hard to make it a good experience.
Anniversary! Great food!
Greeted promptly and welcomed, excellent service, great food, and great value. Definitely a top spot in Myrtle Beach.
What an incredible little place! Gorgeous seating and lighting, with simply amazing food and service. It’s right off N Kings Highway in the heart of all the restaurants. We had the beet salad to start and then had the Ribeye with truffle butter which was cooked perfectly. My wife has the pork chop with a sautéd apples...they were both tremendous.
Everything was perfect!!
This is a great restaurant with great food and attentive service.
Highly recommend dinner at 42nd Street Bar & Grill! The food was amazing and the service we received was by far the best service we have seen at any restaurant. The functionality of this restaurant was truly beautiful. We will definitely be making date night there a tradition!
It just wasn't what we expected for being rated #1 on Trip Advisor. The food wasn't great.
This was our first time at this restaurant and we will definitely go back. The good was delicious, the service was great and the ambiance was very nice. It was upscale without being stuffy but we appreciated the fact that they paid attention to the details. By far our best meal in Myrtle Beach this year.
The Beef Wellington was amazing!!! Bill was fantastic and he did an excellent job taking care of us!!! Definitely sold and we will make it one of our go to places!!! It was our first time there. Thank you so much!
We took our son here for his 24th birthday and everything was amazing. The ambiance, the service, the food were all so fabulous. Our new favorite place in Myrtle Beach.
The service was excellent. My son has a dairy allergy and they were very accommodating to us. We are still dealing with COVID issues so the restaurant was fairly empty. They did have all the necessary precautions in place and I felt comfortable eating there. The food was very good. Portions for the money were small. We had the ahi tuna appetizer and shrimp wonton AP. They were delicious, but barely enough to share between the 3 of us. For dinner we had the ribeye, filet and lobster Mac and cheese. All were good but the portions were small.
Awesome experience and service.
Visiting from central PA. Went to this establishment based on 5-star online reviews but was disappointed. Perhaps it is the best food in Myrtle Beach but the food was only ok and IMHO not worth the price. We had the lobster mac and cheese, the mussels and ahi tuna appetizers, and the scallops. Mussels had a very fishy aftertaste. Scallops were cooked nicely, however. It wasn't a bad experience but just not what I had expected based on the glowing reviews. Perhaps COVID has impacted their kitchen/staff?
Wife and i stopped in here for dinner after a recommendation from a friend. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu. For a drink I had a Old Fashion and it was really good and not light on the whiskey. For dinner I had the pork shop and it did not disappoint. It was grilled just right and the apricot sauce was a good mix. My wife had the salmon and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. We will definitely visit again when back in town.
Food and service was exceptional. Exceptional flavor on several dished we tried. Wait staff was great. Highly recommend
All four entrees were excellent (scallops, salmon, wellington, red snapper). Calamari and tuna appetizer's were also amazing. Cocktails tasty. No room for dessert! Atmosphere was cozy and comfortable.
Food was mediocre and flavorless at best. The service was great but I wouldn’t recommend. The food was quite pricy given the lack of flavor.
Don’t judge this book by its cover. When we first walked in we joked that they changed a Chinese Restaurant into a Bar and Grill.
The service, the quality, the presentation, and the taste of all the food, from Apps to desert was perfect.
8 of us - We ordered Snapper, Ribeyes, Beef Wellington and kids pizza and fries + deserts....every item was perfect and delicious!!! Even the signature drinks were great!
Go there, you won’t be disappointed!!
We visited while on vacation and were worried about what kind of experience it would be due to COVID - we had already had 2 reservations elsewhere cancelled. Lucky for us! 42nd Street Bar and Grille has excellent service and the food was all exceptional! My pork job was fabulously presented under a smoke filled cloche, and was terrific! My son judged it the best place we ate for the whole week, he’s still talking about the lobster Mac and cheese. Highly recommend!
Always a great meal, definitely one of our go-to places for a more upscale family dinner. We are so happy to see also that they are taking full precautions in social distancing, mask and glove wearing, and overall cleanliness in this strange time of Covid-19.
Calamari appetizer & Shrimp goyza appetizer were amazing! Beef Wellington delicious, Lobster Mac & cheese very good. Nice atmosphere. Both Servers were very efficient and very pleasant. Would definitely go back
What a treasure to find! The food was tremendous and the service - our of this world!! We had the deconstructed beef Wellington- I’d highly recommend it!!
And the shrimp appetizer is not to be missed. Oh and the leek and pesto butter dipping sauce - wow!!
While the selection is somewhat limited, the quality is superb. What they do offer, they do very well and that's a good thing. Our family had steak, chicken and fish. All dishes were fantastic. We'll definitely be back.
We had a great night. We had a large party and there was a second large party having a birthday. The kitchen got a little backed up but the owner sent appetizers and gave us free dessert. We were having such a good time we didn’t even notice but the owner was on top of it. I would recommend to anyone and I can’t wait return.
Amazing place for a date night
The deconstructed Beef Wellington is my favorite entre at the beach. The cucumber martini and seared tuna were excellent
