   We had a wonderful anniversary brunch here. Our sever was friendly and attentive and we really enjoyed the complimentary dessert to celebrate our special occasion. The weather was a bit rainy so we chose an indoor table but we were seated near a window with an excellent view of the river. Highly recommend!

   This was our second time for brunch. Drinks and food were very good. Excellent views. We had reservations and were seated right away. Service was good. I did have to ask a couple of times for coffee refill but other than that pretty attentive. Would recommend and we will be back.

   Our first visit proved very enjoyable with a fantastic server and amazing cuisine. Drinks were really good also - we were not rushed and our food was served at a nice relaxing pace … came out nice and hot too.

    It was slow to be seated by the hostess, it was very slow trying to get our wine for our dinner, the food was good but my fish was overcooked slightly! They seemed disorganized between management and the service people, the location is great, the price is okay for what you get! We've been there twice, it's not a highly recommended place from our perspective! Just middle of the road unfortunately! Mr Tom

    Our meal was fantastic! Amber was our waitress. She said she had only been there a couple of weeks but you would have never known cause she was a complete pro and was extremely knowledgeable of all the menu options. Our table of 6 got a variety of dishes-grouper, mahi, steak, pasta. All were delicious. I look forward to returning to 34 North for future visits.

    This is the best restaurant in the area. Best food! Best service! The acoustics are perfect. You can have a conversation at a normal voice level and hear every word. The scenery and restaurant are lovely. It was a perfect meal.

    My mother and I have always made reservations for Mother’s Day. We always choose to go here because of the brunch for the fact we can get the shrimp and grits. When making reservations we were not told that this year it would be a buffet. If we had know, we would have booked it for a day that there wasn’t a buffet. That being said, I totally understand why you would have a buffet on a special occasion. It makes sense. The buffet was still very good.

    Booked a brunch for Mother’s Day with my mom and family. No where on the website or social media stated this would be a buffet. We were all very disappointed that this was the case when we arrived. We had to wait for plates. The food was not good. Very mushy casseroles and really hard biscuits. For $21 per plate we wish we had gone elsewhere for this special occasion.

    We have dined here numerous times. We love the ambiance. It’s a great special occasion place to go. This last time we were disappointed with the sides & the Mahi entree. The sides were boring & bland. They only change them up for specialty menus. I feel like they can do better. The risotto and mashed potatoes were lacking in flavor. The 5 cheese macaroni has this smoky almost burnt flavor that none of us liked. Adding sweet potatoes, spinach, baked potato would be nice. The mahi was dry. Unfortunately my stepdad wouldn’t speak up and pushed through. The wonderful server kindly credited us the 2 main sides. Otherwise the filet and burger were delicious as was the Caymus wine.

    Beautiful place. Service was great, ( there were only 10 guests in the whole place.) I ordered the Mahi, it was overcooked, couldn't eat the Seared exterior which was supposed to be jerk flavored. The calamari was amazing. My husband got the Seafood ravioli. It was ok, seafood was fresh, sauce was a bit strange tasting, couldn't put my finger on it. Desserts were good. It was very pricey for what we got which was fair tasting food.

    I have eaten at 34 north restaurant many times. The service is very good, food is a good value and the ambiance is wonderful. I grew up in Beaufort. I like what Beaufort has become but hope it doesn’t grow too much more.

    The only thing which was not satisfactory was the chaos in the dining room. The chairs are too low for the table height. Suggest new chairs or lowering tables. This may seem minor but somewhat uncomfortable. Otherwise an enjoyable evening.

    The restaurant has a great location and is very nice inside. The food was average (I had shrimp and grits) and the service was ok. They had an event going on and out waiter disappeared once it started and was working on it. I had to go find someone to get us our bill.

    This has become our "go to" restaurant in Carteret County, especially when we have visiting guests. You can't beat the views, the restaurant/hotel itself is beautiful, the food is fantastic and so is the service. Logan was our server and she was excellent. And the valet parking is an added plus.

    I was disappointed that the only NA beer offering was O’Douls. This is an Anheuser Busch product and as you know, nobody is drinking Anheuser Busch products anymore. There was a broken blind on the west side of the restaurant so the setting sun was in my eyes throughout the meal. Overall we were very happy. It was a perfect place to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. We will return again. Thank You!
