Great date night or celebratory place. The ambience is beautiful, inside and outside--waterfront! Service was good and attentive, food was good. The Monday night prime rib night is a great option and the smoked wahoo spread is a fantastic appetizer. This is a classy, though relaxed establishment....and open table was perfect for reservations.
We went to 32North to celebrate my Dad's birthday. We had a nice view of the water from our table. The food and drink were very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the level of noise in the restaurant. It was so loud, we could hardly have a conversation and hear each other. The waitress couldn't even hear us ordering. The acoustics really need to be worked on, otherwise a very nice place.
This was our second time eating here, but I don't think we will return again (at least not for Brunch). It took 20 minutes before I could wave someone (perhaps a manager) over to our table. We placed a drink order with her and she never returned once. We were shocked that she didn't at least bring us waters. I did see her hanging out with another table just chatting after she took our order. Drinks took at least another 15 minutes and were brought by our new server. We also requested a booth (as we had a baby with us) and we were given a table in the middle of the restaurant. The food is good and our server was friendly, but he was overwhelmed and didn't appear to be getting much support from managers.
We stayed at the Beaufort Hotel, and the restaurant is a part of the facility. We had dinner and breakfast. When the weather is nice, dining al fresco is an option. We did that for breakfast, and we were treated to dolphins playing in the water outside the resort. The noise level is quiet unless there is a boat passing or launching.
Our dinner was indoors and delightful. Delicious crab cakes for an appetizer. My husband had the grilled fish of the day over rice and was pleased with it. I had the BEST shrimp and grits with red eye gravy that I have ever had. It was full of more shrimp than I could count. Delicious.
Everyone was friendly and professional, from receptionist to waitstaff to management.
If we return to the area, we would definitely dine there again.
Amazing food and beautiful scenery. Sit outside if you can!
One of the best filet mignons I’ve ever had. All of the entrees for our table were exceptional. The restaurant sources their food from local NC farmers.
Beautiful setting and great food! Really enjoyed coming here for my wife’s birthday. Will be back.
We were sending a friend off to Colorado and wanted a spec evening. It was prime rib night so we had a delicious martini then a wonderful appetizer and the prime rib with mushrooms & onions...it was delicious, key lime lie was shared by all , great way to spend a special time with friends . Well done and will return!
Beautiful setting, excellent service and GREAT Food!!
Our favorite restaurant in Eastern North Carolina. Lovely setting on the water. Grouper arrived at the table hot, moist, and flavorful even on a very busy Easter Sunday !
Always great food, service and atmosphere. We never have to hope for the best.
the food and drinks were excellent however our server disappeared and we had no water refills or second drinks. We had to alert the receptionist after 30 minutes to get our check. Our other visits had been great hopefully this doesn't happen again.
Someone here sure knows how to cook!!!! Food was outstanding, couldn’t find anything to complain about if I wanted to. Good size portions, wonderful atmosphere, nice eating pace...not rushed at all...just relax and enjoy your meal and drinks. At the table for desserts we had cheesecake and mango sorbet, both were perfect. If you are a sorbet person (or even if you’re not) the mango sorbet was like none I had ever had, like biting into a juicy mango 🤗
A bit pricey, and for some service may be a tad slow, but worth the time and price!
Food was delicious. Service was pleasant but needed a little more training I think.
Wonderful experience! Worth every penny!
Gorgeous dining room with water and sunset views. Attentive wait staff and excellent dining in all respects.
This was our first visit to this restaurant. We ordered an assortment of appetizers and a salad and dessert. The shrimp appetizer was our favorite and the scallops were delicious as well. The bread pudding with bourbon ice cream was yummy. We plan to return and try some of the entrees. Our server was pleasant and very helpful with suggestions. No complaints there.
The only cons were the unripe tomato on the caprese salad plus the salad dressing could have been more flavorful.
Lovely place. Great service delicious meal. Even the bread and butter
They practiced social distancing very well . Tables were spaced and all the staff had masks.
Great atmosphere and views of Taylor's Creek. at sunset.Food was very good and the waitress was very good and attentive. Would highly recommend it.
Wonderful atmosphere. Wonderful service and wonderful food. Nothing else to be said. Absolutely perfect.
Awesome service Andy food!! Absolutely enjoyed!!! Will be back!
Clean, quiet place with a beautiful view. Service is adequate but food is over priced. The food itself was good but, for that price, should be amazing.
34 Degree North was clean, the staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. It was very easy to get a reservation online. I recommend!
Wonderful evening. Can’t say enough about the service, the food, and the atmosphere. Made our Anniversary dinner special. Thank you.
When our food was brought to the table some was tepid at best. Mentioned to our server but decided not to send back as we had 6 at the table and didn't want to hold up dinner.
I would recommend the restaurant but caution anyone that when really busy it seems the kitchen gets behind and the wait staff seems limited and covers lots of tables.
Meh, little over priced. Drinks good, but food just ok.
Great food. We had shrimp and grits and the pan-seared grouper. The chocolate torte was delicious as well. Friendly wait staff.
Ordered a 3 course meal and each course was good. Definitely the best restaurant of the 4 we have been to in the area so far.
It was fine . Food and service
We always enjoy the food. The bar is large and a great place to gather with friends. We also love the outside porch area.
Great view and food! I would recommend this to others
Nice view of the waterfront after waiting 15 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation and were on time.
Wait staff were pleasant but not very efficient with details. Our fish entrees were very good. However, the appetizer menu didn’t have any appeal for us and the entree menu seemed limited compared to all the sides offered.
My friends and I come here for lunch quite often. We absolutely 💕 34 North!
Laura was an amazing server. We had such a nice time sitting by the water.
First time visit. Excellent facility, service and food. Quiet waterfront view with wild ponies on the shore of Carrot Island and a family of Dolphins in Taylor Creek. I would return and even recommend to my friends to visit.
Was an excellent dining experience.
Filet mignon and shrimp and grits fantastic.
Also enjoyed beautiful sunset.
Seeing wild horses extra treat.
I have eaten here before and have family that have been coming here since it opened and none of us have had a bad experience before. Last Friday night was a different story. For my anniversary I decided to take my wife here because we both enjoyed the other time we ate here. I made a reservation for 6:45 and had asked for a table along the wall of windows so that we could watch the sunset (I understand that these requests don’t have to be met). We arrived about 2 minutes before our reservation and were told that a table was not ready yet. A little before 7 we were seated at a small table in the middle of the restaurant. When I asked about my request I was told that the only available table along the wall of windows had been requested by a party of 4 and they had called and were on the way. A few minutes later, 2 men were seated at that table and no one joined them as long as I was there. Also, my wife overheard them on the phone before the men arrived and it turns out that they were over 30 minutes late for their reservation. We ordered the pork belly, which we had the other time we were there and it was delicious, and it was not tender at all. The sauce was good, but the tough meat ruined it. We decided to try to salvage the rest of our night and go somewhere else after that. The one redeeming quality is the waitress. She was great. I think that Allie was her name, but I’m not 100% sure. I’m going to try this restaurant again because everyone that I know that has been there speaks so highly of it and the other experience I had was good, but I was very disappointed on Friday.
The crispy pork belly was amazing. The view was beautiful and the steaks were cooked perfectly.
The onion soup was delicious.
Our second time here, first time for brunch. We had a beautiful seat outside. The scenery, service, and food were just what we wanted! You can indulge or eat calorie friendly. From the hot tea to the frittata, to the Belgian waffles, and fruit plate, everything was wonderful! If you prefer inside seating, it’s waiting for you, and it doesn’t disappoint!
