We're came for the prime rib. After 10 minutes of ordering a women came over and said they was out of prime rib. We ordered a 16 oz. Ribeye and a strip for my date. Both ordered med rare. Both steaks came out well done. And with no sides. Also both steaks had the wrong topping on them.
We had a great waitress and she offered to take the steaks back but at this point we didn't want to wait. Approx 5 minutes later our sides arrived. The asparagus was very good but the mac and cheese look to be thrown together. The waitress did give us a free dessert that was very tasty
Caramelized broccoli could have been cooked a little more. The potato souffle and the prime rib dinner was excellent. Katy, our server was a pleasure to deal with. Recommend you share noted special occasions noted on reservations with service staff. Overall we are very pleased with the restaurant, the food and the staff. WE'LL BE BACK!
We had a great meal. The staff were very accommodating and the food was wonderful. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious.
Great service, beautiful place. Food was delicious but was supposed to come with asparagus and got two small pieces, more of a garnish instead of side dish but the grouper and rice.. which was more of a risotto we’re delicious!
The decor was great. I was there to conduct a bit of business and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. Also, our server, JJ, was superb! I will definitely be back.
My husband and I got married at the Boathouse 5 years ago and we went on our anniversary! Great service, and food presentation. We even got a free dessert since it was our anniversary- we got the coconut cake which was delicious but I’m sure they all are! We will definitely be returning whether it’s for a date night or special occasion!
This restaurant is a beautiful concept, incorporating elements from the old building into the new. The view was beautiful watching the sun set on the patio. But they have a long way to go if this restaurant/hotel is to succeed to match the vision. Food was good and a nice presentation although a bit limited. Nice wines. However, it became a total joke of an evening with the screwups and unprofessionalism of the hostess & wait staff. There needs to be some serious training. Also, my husband & I sat on the patio, and he ended up sitting beside me because the tables are incredibly wide. To top it off (and no fault of the restaurant), an incompetent boat owner took 30 minutes trying to dock an expensive, incredibly loud speed boat. People were getting up from their tables watching, and after they finally docked, there was a loud cheer. All in all it was an entertaining night to remember, but not what I think the management would like to be remembered for. Hopefully, time will help.
Everyone enjoyed their meal. I got the grilled cauliflower steak. I thought it had a little too much soy vinergarette on it. Other than that, everything was outstanding. The presentation of the house salad was also excellent. Will definitely return.
The overall experience was ok.
The grouper was excellent.
The flounder was dry and overdone and I suspect was not fresh.
Our waitress was fine and attentive and brought our meals in a timely fashion.
She was cute and pleasant, but I’m not enthusiastic about being served by someone with pink hair and tattoos.
The setting on Taylor’s Creek is superb!!
There were four of us, two of which got the fish tacos. The tacos were very good. The third person got the Caesar salad with fried oysters. The salad and fried oysters were wonderful. The fourth person got the special that was being served to a business group in the hotel. It was a Caesar salad with chicken. The chicken was very dry, which ruined the meal for her. I had gotten a chicken dish for dinner at a prior visit. That too was very dry. Otherwise, the service was good and we enjoyed the view of Taylor Creek.
Located in the new Beaufort Hotel
Free valet parking
Friendly, attentive staff; very knowledgeable about the menu
Spacious, open dining room layout; indoor and outdoor seating
Our entrees -- grilled grouper and low country boil (special) -- were excellent
A little pricey; 1 soup, 1 salad, 2 entrees, 2 glasses of wine = $108 before tip
The food was lukewarm, very surprising since the restaurant was not that busy at the time. The salad was brought to the table just before the main course. The service was great ,although, we were not ask to have dessert. We may go again, maybe for breakfast.
For the atmosphere, and price, we should not have been rushed...serve a drink, allow customer to finish their drinks, then serve appetizers, again wait and wait a little longer to serve entrees...could have gone to a fast food restaurant if I just wanted something to eat...we wanted a dining experience...
Beautiful restaurant and view. Wait staff professional and nice and good was delicious.
I had gone to this restaurant with friends and we had an awesome experience. I came back a few weeks later and brought my parents but the service was horrible. Out of our party of 4, not a single person received their correct order. We asked our server a number of times for whatever item was missing/wrong and she still did not follow through. We won't be going back.
The only improvement would be lowering the booth-side seats to mtch the chairs opposite them. The dining experience was marvelous especially the grouper entree. Our guests were quite happy. Thank you.
Great food and atmosphere! Very clean, great service, and beautiful water views!
Ate outside overlooking Taylor’s Creek. Beautiful setting. JJ our waitress was fantastic and ver attentive to our table of 6 needs.
Food was very good and liked by everyone.
Recommend this place highly.
Beautiful restaurant but the food was disappointing. I hope they get it together. It’s too nice not to be better.
From the moment we entered the restaurant, the staff was friendly and attentive. Our waiter Josh was personal, knowledgeable which made our dining experience memorable. I would highly recommend the beet and goat cheese salad.. My husband ordered the Rib Eye which was cooked to perfection, I ordered the roasted chicken which was delicious!
I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Our evening at 34 Degrees North was exceptional. The servers, food, ambiance were all far above average. The tables are spaced with enough space to offer privacy for conversation. We look forward to dining there again.
Excellent lunch. Excellent service ...Elizabeth Brown did a great job with us.
We ordered the cheese plate first, and honestly, at $18 it was less than half the size of cheese plates we have ordered at other restaurants. I also ordered the beet salad and again, although a nice presentation, the portion was very small. My wife had the cauliflower steak and enjoyed it, but my experience was less than enjoyable.
This was our first time eating here. The food was delicious and we had great service. We really enjoyed the grouper and pork chop entrees. The coconut cake was delicious too! The restaurant is beautiful with a wonderful view to watch the sunset in Beaufort. . We will definitely eat here again.
A great new addition to our great little area. Another great food option for visitors and locals. Nice views. Great table spacing. Nice menu choices featuring our local seafood.
Beautiful outdoor dining, great job remodeling inside
Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with a positive review.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at 34 Degrees North and it was fabulous! The food and the service was excellent. Justin, our server was over the top. He was a pleasure to talk with and was very attentive to our needs. The restaurant is gorgeous - Situated on the water with attention to every detail makes it a great place to dine. Yes we will definitely eat there again.
This was our first experience here, but it was definitely not our last. The succulent pan roasted grouper was paired with the best risotto I’ve ever eaten in my life. Served with artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, and fresh Parmesan, the entree was spectacular. Others in my party were equally pleased with their entree choices. Service was excellent, and the waterfront ambiance is breathtaking. Highly recommend!
Great dinner at 34 North. The level of service has finally caught up with the quality of the food. Our server Myranda was outstanding. Great views of the water and, overall, a lovely place for a meal.
Thank you so much for your review. Our staff has worked very hard to perform at a level we would all like to see. We appreciate your kind comments about Myranda! Thanks for your continued support.
Service for the restaurant needs to be stepped up. View is good. Food was good.
Excellent experience! Food, service very good. Location perfect!
Great new restaurant. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Right on the beach. We all enjoyed our entrees. My daughter said the clam chowder was the best she’s ever had. The key lime pie tastes like one straight out of Key Largo! Excellent staff who were very attentive.
The food was phenomenal. We asked for a seat with a view and they placed us in the middle of the restaurant as far away from the window as possible in the middle of several full tables that were talking loudly. Keep in mind there were many empty tables by the window on the far side where my husband and I could enjoy more privacy. The drinks were terrible. I asked for a Hurricane and the waitress brought back something with a "floater". I told her that it didnt taste good and I've never had a Hurricane like that before. The waitress told me they did it "to make it look cooler". I just wanted a plain Hurricane drink. She offered to bring me more pineapple juice and cherry juice to the table so I could mix it in and make it taste better. No thank you. I should not have to mix my drink properly myself. Noise level was so terrible my husband and I had to repeat ourselves the entire meal and could not carry on a conversation at a normal level. On a good note, food was unrivaled. My compliments to the chef. Service needs improvement, so it ruins the experience.
We went to 34 North his past Friday night for the first time for my birthday. This restaurant is new and located inside the newly built Beaufort Hotel at the farther end of Front Street.
From the welcoming and efficient valet staff to the amazing first impression of the hotel lobby and bar to the outside deck overlooking the incredible waterfront island view where we ate dinner to the perfectly prepared and presented menu and very friendly and attentive service...
this place was a big WOW!!!
We could not have been more impressed!!
We are regular diners around this coastal community and we are thrilled that this very upscale, hip, welcoming, picturesque, waterfront experience has come to Beaufort!!
Thanks to all the staff for making this 59th birthday very special!! :)
We plan on being regulars!! :)
Elaine and Joe Elbeery
Food was excellent and served in a timely fashion. Wait staff very gracious and welcoming. Dinner with neighbors!
We went for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. We ate outside to a beautiful view and the meal and drinks were outstanding.
Thank you so much for making us a part of your anniversary celebration! We are thrilled that you enjoyed your culinary experience with us.
Very enjoyable evening. Great place to celebrate our 57 wedding anniversity👏👍🏼
Great food! Amazing location. We chose to sit outside which was wonderful until around 8pm when the noise level became too much to enjoy dinner conversation. Will be back for sure!
The food, service, and ambiance were outstanding; however, the drinks were outrageously expensive...I'll do my drinking at home next time or stick to Bud Light.
