    Sunday Supper is a new offering at 31THIRTYONE on Sunday afternoons/evenings from 4-7pm. It is an accessible, relaxed 3-course Family Style meal that includes additional options such as daily pasta, oysters, cheese course, etc. The menu costs 60usd. Reservations are available and walk-ins are welcome, space pending. Menu is available at both bars and the Chef’s Counter. Dietary Restrictions are welcome including GF / Vegan / Vegetarian.     This is by far my favorite place in San Diego. The food is simply amazing. That said, we went for the Sunday Supper without realizing it. The Sunder Supper is a very limited menu and we have some challenging dietary restrictions. Fortunately, that night the menu was friendly enough with our needs that the kitchen was able to adjust any items that weren't. I think we got lucky this time! However, to be clear, this hurdle cleared, the dinner was simply amazing! I really love coming here and more people should treat themselves with a visit to this amazing place!

    We did the chef's tasting menu for two with one of us opting for the wine pairing. Very -- VERY -- glad we did both options because there was a lot on the food and bev menus that I would havel iked to try, but being limited to only one stomach it would have been hard to fit it in. Literally. We also started with the sourdough and the baked oysters as an add on to the tasting menu. Outstanding. There wasn't a miss throughout the entire course. The squid ink past was a standout for sure, but that stands out merely because it was among the final dishes and we refused to let them take the plate away until we had scraped every last bit that was left. Service was excellent -- well informed and helpful without being overbearing at all. These folks care about this place and they should -- it's a phenominal experience.

    Table 6 potatoes! We loved every minute of 3131’s experience. Devine and innovative dishes. Thoughtful ingredients and welcoming staff. Appetizers: Bluefin 5/5 Oysters 5/5 Hokkaido scallop 5/5 Seabass 4.5/5 Ribeye with mashed potatoes 5/5 Desserts: Mixed fruit with ice cream and crumble true showstopper Stonefruit with fromage cream - very good. Slightly too sweet for my taste Rooftop bar with happy hour is a must for the quaint atmosphere. Will be back!

    My wife and I were blown away by our experience at 3131 Deckman’s. Staff was extremely attentive and every aspect of the dining experience was very polished. And the food! We had an app, 2 mains, and 2 desserts; every bite was well thought out with regard to texture, balance, and taste. In 25 years of dining in San Diego, our recent dinner at 31THIRTYONE was easily top 5. Kudos to Chef Deckman and his team for this gem!

    The prix fixe is an exceptional value and delicious, though the wine pairing was not in both aspects, imo. If going for dinner service, arrive well after the end of happy hour to let the busy kitchen catch up on their timing.

    The Counter Tasting menu was very delicious. Loved the creative use of so many fresh veggies - mushrooms were the star throughout the meal. Talking with Chef Deckman was really fun. He's quite engaging and really committed and enthusiastic about sourcing the best sustainable products and creating dishes that allow them to shine. Enjoyed Chef Rodrigo's pasta contribution to the menu - so tasty! Only nit-pick was the very small pours of the wine pairing. We split the wine pairing, but noticed the person sitting next to me also had very short pours. Certainly not worth the $90 add on. I'd come back for another tasting menu, or just to eat in the dining room, but would just order wine by the glass or a bottle.

    We were a party of four who did the chef’s tasting menu and sat at the counter. Everything was delicious, beautifully plated, and sustainably sourced. My favorite was the mushroom trio! We also did the wine pairing, which was a perfect way to top off the 8+ courses. It was not cheap, but well worth the experience of being so close to the chefs and watching our food be prepared.
