    Chef Deckman's food is delicious and his oysters, hot or cold, are the best. Full house on a Tuesday so that's good news for the business. Only complaint was that the portion size for a full entree was fairly small.

    Our second visit to 31ThirtyOne by Deckman's and we were just as pleased with it as our first! My husband and I had the "family style" 4 course dinner and it was amazing! Some of our favorites were the spring harvest salad, the capunti pasta - I could have eaten a vat of that myself!! - and the hanger steak. All were delicious! The sauce on the pasta dish was so good - I wish I could replicate it at home! The staff is all very friendly and welcoming as well as very knowledgeable of the complexity of all the dishes served. It's fun to watch Chef Drew with his crew in the kitchen too! Looks like a symphony as everyone appears to work together so well! We look forward to many return trips to 31ThirtyOne by Deckman's!

    One of the most extraordinary dining experiences of my life. This is got to be one of the most underrated restaurants in California if not the country. Cannot recommend it enough. Chef Deckman is a genius.

    An absolutely epic experience from the moment we were pleasantly greeted at the door. Prior to dinner we were encouraged to visit the rooftop for pre-dinner drinks while waiting for our reservation. Upstairs was a relaxing and sleekly-designed, open space with a full cocktail bar (and an additional restroom conveniently located upstairs). We dined in the back room of the restaurant which gives a comfortable, romantic ambiance. Every dish was incredible and beautifully arranged and presented. And the hospitality was top-notch. Every staff member was kind, approachable, fun and professional. Special staff shoutouts to Molly on her recent marriage, our Server Julie, and Danielle for the smiles and “extra” bubbly… I look forward to coming back and bringing more people!

    We had an amazing experience! We love love love the Valle de Guadalupe location, but 31Thirty One was just delightful. Everyone is super nice and the service was excellent! Congratulations to Drew & Paulina for such an amazing experience

    This was one of our the best meals we have had in a long time. We started with a half dozen oysters and they were great. We also ordered really great craft cocktails, the 4.9.21 a nd the Coltrane. Our server recommended the chef's tasting menu and he was right. We loved each serving. Each one was bright with fresh ingredients. This was a perfect dining experience and we look forward to returning.

There’s a clear reverence for sustainability woven into every aspect—from the zero-waste kitchen practices to the close partnership with local farms and fisheries.
