   The was the best meal I've had in years! Service is excellent, attention to detail is paramount here. multiple precise layers of taste, exquisite presentation, and unexpected pairings were incredible—chefs are outstanding. Only recommendation I would make is to have more affordable wine selections by the glass as well as bottle.

   I felt the food was gimmicky. We waited over 15 minutes for someone to notice we had finished dinner and wanted to order dessert. Two of the major employees were in constant conversation with one of the diners and completely ignored the rest of the room. I will not go back.

   A little spendy, but boy was it worth it! Had the Bird's Nest, the Shrimp Robuchon and the utterly amazing Jiaozi and Doubanjiang Butter for apps, then shared the Five Regions Half Duck with a bowl of rice and Wok'd Greens. You'll want to save the dish with the remaining Doubanjiang Butter. It's too good to send back, and a little rice soaks it up quite nicely. For dessert, we had the Black Sesame Budino dessert. It was different from anything any of us had had, and it was the perfect end to a most memorable meal. A couple nice glasses of sake completed the profile for a perfect dinner experience. Service was just outstanding — friendly and informative without being cloying, pedantic or obsequious. I am thrilled that Oceanside can boast this amazing little gem. Rumor has it they're invited to the Michelin gala, so it might get a LOT tougher to book a table in the near future. I certainly hope they get a star — they truly deserve one.

   We heard about this restaurant which is very close to where we live. So, we made a reservation and tried it out. From the entry to this restaurant until we left, the service was phenomenal. The food is excellent. They have lots of delicious, shareable plates. The flavors are so unique and tasty. Everyone was very friendly and professional. We will definitely be back!

   The food is very creative and delicious. The shrimp toast is excellent as is the pork dish. Though the menu is limited, there are plenty of interesting choices.

   We celebrated a belated mother's day with our three children and we all enjoyed the variety, creativity, and flavors the chefs at 24 Suns curated. The presentation is beautiful, thoughtful, and executed with precision. You can definitely enjoy eating with your eyes first under these chefs watch. Our kids (10, 12, and 23) each had favorites, but also enjoyed the adventure of trying as many dishes as possible. Particular favorites were the Silky Egg Custard, Crudo, Shrimp, Duck 5 Ways, and the Shrimp Toast. The Duck and shrimp toast were so popular that we ordered them twice! The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and the wine list celebrates unique old world wines which we truly enjoyed. We are looking forward to experiencing their evolving menu, and growth in the community.

   It’s tucked away in a nondescript strip mall on Mission Avenue. Helmed by chefs Nic Webber and Jacob Jordan—both alums of San Diego’s Michelin-starred Addison—this intimate restaurant delivers a masterclass in refined Chinese cuisine through the lens of fine dining. 24 Suns is a concept rooted in the Chinese lunisolar calendar’s 24 solar terms, which guide the restaurant’s seasonal approach to ingredients and menu development. That ethos is reflected in every detail, from the serene, scroll-lined interior to the elegant plating that arrives with quiet confidence. Dishes here are deeply rooted in Chinese tradition but elevated with French technique and California seasonality. The highlights from our dining experience were the Shrimp Robuchon, a decadent jumbo shrimp wrapped in a delicate crepe, brightened by house hot mustard and pickled goji berries, Jiaozi with Doubanjiang Butter, and Wood Ear Mushrooms with shaved horseradish. The wine and tea program, curated by former Addison sommelier Kyle South complements the menu with an impressive range of natural wines and rare teas that speak to the restaurant’s refined yet approachable vision. 24 Suns isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a meditative, sensory experience that surprises at every turn. Oceanside may seem an unlikely setting for such an ambitious project, but that’s exactly the point. This is a place that thrives on subtlety, storytelling, and the belief that innovation need not shout to be heard. A must-visit for anyone craving depth, soul, and artistry on a plate.
