The service and food were Impeccable. Not only was the food absolutely delicious but they took their time to not only explain what each dish was but suggestions on the best way to enjoy each dish to the fullest. If you are looking for a one of a kind food experience with top level service I cannot recommend this place enough!

Read the hype and made a res. at a funky location in Oceanside. The atmosphere was simple, but kinda cool. Even though the a/c seemed to be running on low...service was great and the vibe was nice. The food was in no way "bad"...but definitely not a "wow" like we had expected. The order of our plates was not consistent either....but we had the Birds Nests (was delicious), the shrimp Jiaozi Dumpling (was good), Jidori Butter Fried Chic (was okay), The Hunan Beef (was good), the Dan Dan Noodles (not good, seemed to be completely over salted...like maybe by accident as the flavor was so intense and strong that we couldn't eat it), the Dangbo Pork Belly (was okay...not very tender), the Smashed Cucumbers (was okay). Overall it was a fun and nice time, but perhaps because the menu changes every couple of weeks...our evening was on one of the first nights of the new menu? I dunno? Not bad...but not fabulous.

I love duck but was disappointed in this entree - I felt there was more crispy fat skin than meat. The portion was very small for 2 people ... we had several appetizers so it was fine but would not have been otherwise

Was disappointed to see they were not serving craft cocktails as noted on their sign out front and previous news/social media posts I have seen. Although the food is fabulous, and we had no complaints there, we felt we were forgotten about several times throughout the evening. I am thinking that alot of this is growing pains and they will grow out of it, but it just wasn’t the experience that we were hoping for in terms of service. That said, I want to reiterate that the food was amazing. We had the Birds Nest, Shrimp/Scallop dumplings, Pork Belly and Fried Chicken. Would order all again and am excited to eventually try other dishes in the future!

Our party had a great time and a fun experience. We really enjoyed the trying the tableside tea and everyone was already planning their next visits. Couldn't pick a favorite dish as they all delivered. Nothing was a disappointment. Can't wait to visit again and try anything new.

We were intrigued by this restaurant’s location in a strip mall in Oceanside—especially since it was mentioned in the Michelin guide! That alone raised our expectations. However, from the moment we walked in, it didn’t quite deliver the “wow” factor we were hoping for. The ambiance is a mix of modern seating and a few booths—comfortable but not particularly memorable. Our server was very sweet and attentive, but recommended nearly everything on the menu, which made it a bit hard to gauge standout dishes. The food itself was well-prepared but felt underwhelming, especially considering the price point. The mushroom and sirloin dishes were flavorful, but I found myself craving a complementary carb to round out the meal, which we ended up ordering. Portion sizes also felt on the smaller side. I understand this isn’t meant to be your typical Asian restaurant, but if someone asked me to define the cuisine or concept, I’m not sure I could. Overall, while it wasn’t a bad experience, there wasn’t anything compelling enough to draw us back.

Decent restaurant but if you are a couple like us who goes out once in a blue moon you could do with something better. Was below our high expectations with food being bland; flavors not complex and service ok.
