   The hostess was very unfriendly, it was very loud and the food was very expensive for what we got. Our waiter was very friendly, just a little overworked. Probably will not be back as there are so many better options in the area.

   Some food items such as the cowboy Ribeye and calamari were on point. Some items like the spinach avocado dip and French dip sandwich were missing out. Noise level at 630 was perfect, closer to 830 it was to much. Service was good. Overall it was a good place to spend the evening.

   Great experience for a birthday or any time! We sat on the patio on a 90-degree day and the breeze, fans, and shade all did their work. It was so comfortable. It kind of felt like a little getaway from the suburbs even. The service was excellent, really appreciate the attention to detail on everything -- love the candle they brought out with dessert for the birthday person. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly. The 1902 sushi rolls had amazing flavor. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and I mean, perfectly. I've never had a better chicken. I was also recommended by a fellow diner the sockeye salmon. He said it's seasonal, but that he comes back for it all the time.

    It’s so nice to be at a place that you feel so comfortable, everyone is so nice! First we had the calamari, they know how to do it Right! We both had the Lobster grilled cheese sandwich for dinner and it was Amazing !!!!

    The only complaint was that we couldn’t get a later dinner reservation, but it was a Friday night, 500 weekend, and the restaurant is small. So dinner at 4:00 pm was the best we could do and made it into more of a late lunch. The steak salad was excellent and filling. The ahi tuna appetizer was also a standout. Our server was very helpful and attentive.

    Food terrific as expected; service amazing despite extremely packed, busy race and holiday weekend. Server was knowledgeable and attentive without hovering, she was excellent! Not a fan of the high top tables for dining, not very comfortable and seat to table height felt awkward for dining but food was very good.

    My husband and I ordered a prime rib sandwich. It was split in Alf, the way we ordered it. One half was mostly fat. We let our server Jacob know. He spoke to the chef. When the server returned, he gave us the check with no response for the situation. So we asked if there was a response from the chef. He told us the chef said that prime rib usually has fat and it can be trimmed by the patron who is eating it. But, we ordered the prime rib sandwich so that it would already be trimmed of fat. The chef only offered an apology and a free desert. We declined the dessert. Half of the sandwich was inedible. We were very disappointed in the outcome from the restaurant.

    I come to this restaurant and their sister eatery HC Tavern. Good service. Good food. I know I’m not alone in saying this but the new addition of paying with a terminal at the table both restaurants lose some it’s elegance.

    Other than the frt desk didnt have the reservation but the bartender did was confusing to me. Great food and ambiance. Oh well we were stuffed even though we didnt get to “celebrate” his bday. But still a nice experience!

    Prime rib had excessive amount of gristle, and the Cuz Cuz was bland. Tables were very close together, made conversation difficult. When servers took orders and served food and drinks we had their rear ends right next to our table. Value of the meal average at best due to the cost, but quality was good. A 4 piece shrimp cocktail is now $17.95, just seems excessive (though always really good). 1933 Lounge will not be near the top of my list next time(s) we want to dine out.

    Our server Tanner was great!! The quality of the food was excellent, we got the 14 ounce ribeye, sautéed mushrooms, salads and dessert. What a great concept to enjoy the historic St Elmo’s tradition without having to make the long haul to downtown Indy. Rumor has it that they are opening another similar establishment in the Carmel Arts District. The entire dining experience beats Ruth’s Chris, Morton’s and Shula’s as not as stuffy and not as pricey!

    The layout is great. However, didn’t receive 3 of our sides, and our deserts didn’t come out in the order of which they were placed (2 deserts placed 7 mins apart from each other, but the 2nd one came out before the first one. Weird). The food we did receive though was great. When I approached Nick (Waiter), to adjust the bill for the sides of what we didn’t receive, and possibly a little bit more or offer a bit of compensation to somewhat make things right, all I received were 2/3 taken off, but not the 3rd (Yes, we paid for a side we never received) and nothing else offered to me. I understand it was Mother’s Day and it was quite steady in the afternoon, just a little annoying is all. Wish this could of been resolved at the restaurant before we left. The restaurant is located in a great area, and the inside is very nice. Comfortable seating, great lighting, etc.

    I was very disappointed, we love StElmos down town Indy. The famous shrimp cocktail lived up to its name. I had the meatball which was the size of a baseball. It was extremely spicy. It was the Wago meatball. Did not mention spice level on menu nor did server mention it. My wedge salad was ok - the lettuce was abit brown & soft. ?? Usually it’s about 1/2 of head of green crispy lettuce. This was not. They only had mango iced sweet tea. Unusual. We stuck to the water when they remembered to fill our pitcher. 2 people at our table had the French dip & they both liked it. Other person in party had the Polenta Chicken- & it was spicy as well. There was a DJ playing music outside & it was open to the restaurant. VERY LOUD. We could barely hear each other talk. I really wanted to like the place - but I doubt I’ll Be back anytime soon.

    Love this restaurant, but they dropped the ball on Mother's Day. An hour wait for food is not acceptable for lunch. The waiter's excuse "the kitchen got slammed" was ridiculous. A restaurant like this should anticipate a crowd on a holiday. They did comp a few items, but the mood was ruined.

    We LOVE 1933 Lounge by St. Elmo! We are former Fishers residents and dine there every time we return -- and EVERY time, it has been fantastic!     The service and ambiance was great, Jacob did an amazing job. The starters were the best part of the meal, sadly I had to send my steak back as it extremely undercooked.

    I asked for a table not to close to others. Hostess said all our tables are close together even though I could visually see high tops sitting away from other jam packed tables. I asked for a seat outside and was taken to a two top in direct sun on a hot day. I asked to move and to another open table in patio and after checking with same hostess, staff took back inside to a two top along the wall with tables right next to each other. I gave up and moved to the bar. Not once did hostess come over to apologize or make sure that my experience was satisfactory. I usually have a great experience at 1933. In this case the hostess on duty seemed unwilling to try to accommodate me.

    Poor service , decent food , but way over priced ! We had to flag down a manager to give us our check. Food was delivered from a kitchen runner and we never saw our server again 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

    Never, ever get the requested table,… no matter how early I make reservations. I have friends who always get “ their” table so I know the restaurant makes preferential treatment. Last year, on my anniversary, we were put at the table in front of the opening kitchen door every few seconds. The high top tables are too high and seats too low so you can barely reach the food. Not sure I will go back

    The hostess, whose name was Hannah was amazing. She was just the kindest girl, and she started our night out with a bang. Our server, Tanner, was amazing. He was so fun.     Special occasion celebration that landed flat. Must not have been 1933's night. Clearly not up to the usual standard. We'll probably give this place a rest and hope they work out whatever wasn't working this time.
