   Great atmosphere and terrific food. But noise is an issue. A fun good time place, not a quiet business discussion spot.

   Great experience and atmosphere. So many appetizers to choose from. The lollipop wings were amazing! The calamari was great- the sauce was very good. The filet prepared Oscar style was perfect!

   WHAT A PLACE!!!! ARE WE IN INDIANA - CONGRATS to the St Elmo's/Huse Culinary/1933 Lounge by St Elmo's Team..... the design, the vibe, the food the service were all a 5* experience. we went there for the first time last evening at 5:00pm before the Pacers game was to come on TV and we were stunned by the grandeur and by the crowd already there. It is a welcome addition and enhancement to Carmel's downtown. the energy was stimulating. YOU knocked it out of the park! in Pacers & Slick Leonard terms: BOOOOOM BABY!!!!!

   This was our first visit to 1933 Lounge Carmel, but have eaten at all the other Huse Culinary locations, some frequently. This place is the most gorgeous and I would go back for the ambience alone! Great service and food. Order the Robin Lychee Martini and the keylime pie. We will be back!

   On the positive side, the restaurant is beautifully designed, and our waitress was super nice. On the negative side, I ordered the striped bass, and the risotto was overly salted, while my husband ordered a rib eye steak and was over charred and cold on the inside. We sent the steak back, so I ended up eating first and then later (much) my husband got his meal. They removed the steak, but quite expensive for an evening out with these issues. As it’s still new, I would wait until they get the kinks worked out. If we go back it would be for a cocktail an appetizer. There are better restaurants where to fork out this type of money.

   Perhaps early growing pains since they’ve only been open a couple of weeks? We had a dinner reservation but received conflicting information from the staff about open seating for drinks so we didn’t get the lounge experience we wanted despite arriving an hour early for our reservation. Our meal server was very attentive. Some menu items needed more detailed descriptions to avoid having to send food back to the kitchen. Some food was not the expected temperature. No itemized receipt provided which is questionable. For a high end, very high dollar meal, the food should have wowed. It didn’t.

   Very cool space but so loud it was difficult to have a conversation. Portions were good sized. Too much time between courses. Green beans were hardly cooked. I like them crisp but these were practically raw. Other than lag between courses service was good.

   Great location and cool building. Valet parking available and was seated within a few minutes. Great food and service. Very loud but spacious.
