   The food here is always very good, except my blackened tuna arrived a bit tepid. Service was workman-like, but nothing more.

   Wonderful dining experience! If you have children under 18 with you, you should mention it in the reservation. Parties with children are seated in a separate room off the main dining room. I actually prefer this separate room as it's quieter and there's less commotion. I suppose that depends on what other children are seated there, but I've had good experiences so far.

   What has happened to 1891?! It is one of my favorite places and is totally unrecognizable. Sounds like there has been major staffing changes, and that is showing poorly. We ordered oysters on the half shell, which we did not finish, the bacon and blue salad, which was so salty and the miso cod which barely resembles what the dish has been for 10+ years. The restaurant and the bar were nearly empty, which I also haven't seen happen in 10+ years. Please go back to the way things were!

   Great dinner as usual. Michael was our waiter and he was excellent. Brandon, the general manager was a great leader making sure every patron was getting first class service. Our lamb shank was the most tender I’ve ever had!

    The fish was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, while the attentive service truly enhanced the dining experience. I look forward to my next visit!
