   The house salad, pork chop and baked potato were all delicious. The blackberry glaze on the pork chops was fantastic and the baked potato was enormous. We shared the salad, entree and side at a cost of $15 and left with our appetite satisfied while enjoying a special dining event at a reasonable cost.

   Classic, but comfortable. The food was incredible! I had the scallops and they were melt in your mouth delicious! Great service as well.

   Food was good as always! Service was surprising. Very friendly and personable waitress, but needs some training. She reached across my plate to fill the water glass. Boxed our food up on the table instead of on a cart, as previously would have been done. This didn’t bother me as much as her taking the used fork of another person dining at the table with me to box my food up with. As a precious waitress and restaurant owner, that is something you just don’t do. I feel she just wasn’t trained correctly. It’s too bad, because she has the personality to be a wonderful server!

   Very disappointing experience! It was very noisy and cold. My husband is very tall and didn't fit in the booth so they gave him a chair to sit at which was very awkward. The waitress talked to us, took our orders and served those of us in the booth over our shoulders. My chocolate martini was EXCELLENT, the highlight of the meal. My husband liked his rusty nail. Our friends' manhattan and boubon old fashion were horiible.My husband and our friends liked their steaks and salmon but my mushroom pasta was heavy and bland. I couldn't eat it all. We asked for coffee and tea at the end of the meal and it's delivery was quite inadequate. Had to ask for spoons, cream and Splenda. No refills on the hot water for tea. We eat out at fine restaurants often and this experience did not meet expectations.

   Everything about this place is fantastic. Food and service were great as were the strawberries.

   Service and food were excellent. However, they used to have the best rolls and a variety in each basket. They’ve discontinued the savory, tasty rolls and now serve something akin to a hamburger bun and about as bland. For a high end steak house you should do better.

   Overall, we loved our experience at 1875. Our servers, Caden and Jayden, were wonderful! Caden told us about the history of the restaurant and then served us a shot of delicious homemade tomato juice. My husband really enjoyed the pork chops. They were juicy and flavorful. The blackberry sauce was the perfect accompaniment. My salmon with a delicious dill sauce was cooked perfectly (medium rare). Our side was roasted garlic potatoes and they tasted weird. I can’t describe the flavor but they tasted nothing like roasted garlic potatoes. It made me wish that I had gotten the Parmesan risotto. We would have fully enjoyed our evening if it wasn’t for the table of eight or 10 behind us. They were so loud and someone sometimes dropped the f bomb. I’m no prude, but they could have been a little nicer especially since they were in public. I didn’t even finish enjoying my after dinner cappuccino. We signed our ticket and left.

    The service was outstanding. The food was delicious. We celebrated a birthday and got complimentary chocolate covered strawberries. We will definitely be back to celebrate!
