   Friendly and attentive service. Everything from the salad to the scallop appetizer to the bread pudding for desert had great plate appeal and was incredibly tasteful and refreshingly different! I am kind of a steak snob, but my filet was cooked to perfection! Delicious! Best steak I have had in a very long time. Will definitely go back-soon!

   A family owned, intentionally delivered, excellent dining experience. Right there with the top restaurants in the Richmond area.

   We had a wonderful Birthday Dinner. Mussels were some of the best I have ever had and the pork chop outstanding. We ate at the bar and Geneva and her staff were exceptional at explaining the food and keeping our drinks full!!! Will definitely be back.

   This place is truly amazing. Jacob was our server and he was fantastic. Made great recommendations. The food was excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

   Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at 1870. We went for to celebrate a birthday but will likely make this a regular spot. Service was great and food was decent. Portion sizes were enormous - great for sharing. We’ll be back often.

   We had a reservation, and they kept us waiting more than a half an hour, and then told us we didn’t have the table that we had reserved. I was not impressed with a staff member who was hostessing. The food was very expensive and not exceptionally good. The atmosphere was nice, but I would think twice about spending that much money there for less than exceptional dining.

    Dinner was incredible. Went to the downstairs bar first for a drink, then to the main dining room for dinner. Food was amazing. Staff was attentive. And the decor and ambiance were perfect. Would highly recommend.
