The matra de (sp) seated us perfectly (he had reservations). Our waiter, Michelle, was knowledgeable and professional. The Smash Burger she recommended was amazing. Dinner at your 1852 was a highlight of our Mackinac trip.

my wife and I celebrated our 22nd anniversary last night at 1852 Grill Room and we had a fabulous meal! our server, Kathy, was very polite. She got to know her names and was very attentive to ours needs throughout the evening. Bravo and 5 stars all the way!!

Fabulous food and awesome service. Oscar did a great job. The piano music in the background made it perfect. love this place for a nice dinner.

The restaurant 1852 on Mackinaw Island is an excellent location for fine dining. The ambiance was of the room was set nicely by soft piano music. The service from Beth was excellent. She provided the additional specials and made the dining experience all about the customers. The food was prepared as requested and served with adequate time between courses.

We were referred to 1852 Grille Room by another guest at Mission Point who dined there the night before . We were very happy with our experience. The restaurant decor was beautiful and elegant. The piano player was an excellent addition to our dining atmosphere. The waiter Oscar was very positive and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious and wonderful presentation. We will return there the next time we come to Mackinac Island. This was the best dining experience we have had in our several times visiting. Thank you!

I requested a window table 3 months prior to my reservation as I was celebrating my 70th birthday and wanted a special night. The hostess placed us at a table inside. I told her we wanted a window seat and she talked to the manager and they said no it was reserved? 15 minutes later another couple took the table ! Guess we were not worthy.

Our last night on Mackinac Island had us enjoying dinner at 1852 Grill Room !! We truly saved the best for last !! The view, the ambiance of dining area, ability to have good conversation with perfect sounds, excellent service and the meals were fantastic. My Old-Fashion made with Woodward Reserve was the best one I had all week over all of the various other restaurants. Will return !
