    Our waiter Oscar was excellent. All of the dishes he recommended were delicious. My husband is not usually fond of fish and the walleye dish surpassed all of his expectations. My filet mignon was cooked to perfection. It was my husband’s 60th birthday and Oscar went out of his way to present his dessert with a candle. Get the carrot cake! We would both highly recommend.

    Food was good. Service and ambiance were both excellent. The price was very steep, though. However, we enjoyed the splurge.

    Whatever yall are paying Kathleen, it’s not enough! She was so funny, nice and she recommended some great dishes! We would definitely come back.

    Their French onion soup and roasted beet salad was delicious as well as their plank whitefish dinner. Our server, Kathleen, was very attentive and friendly.

    Our first experience with dinner at 1852, after 40+ years of vacationing annually on Mackinac Island...hands down one of the best meals we've ever had! Our server William was outstanding, the menu was excellent, and the view was perfect. Looking forward to adding them to our list of favorites to visit every year from now on!

    Good but expensive for what you get. Would not allow a substitute from asparagus to potatoes, so that was disappointing. Good atmosphere, though felt a little rushed. Would have appreciated a little more time to enjoy drinks and appetizer.

    Always a phenomenal experience! We go every year for our anniversary dinner and have never been disappointed. The quality of the food and amazing service you receive is exceptional. Our favorite piano player was there and set the ambience for the evening. Thank you once again for a terrific evening.
