Very friendly waiting staff. Ordering drinks/ food took a long time and food was hot when arrived. Got the feeling maybe not enough staff for customers. I had the chicken supreme - mash and jus very nice but chicken quite dry. Truffle Mac and cheese dry with not much cheese. Lovely venue would happily come back for drinks before/ after dinner elsewhere.

Atmosphere, decor, food is fantastic. Service is chaotic, server came to take our order then left to assist food served at another table and forgot about taking our order. Left us for 10 minutes where we had to flag down another server. This theme carried on for the rest of our meal. Just chaotic. However they were polite and friendly.

Service was slow and we had to chase up items constantly. Some of the food had to be sent back as it luke warm and some of it was frozen. It wasn’t good value for money. Won’t be rushing back.

Fish and chips portions were very small and food was very average. I ordered a side of Mac and cheese - a waiter brought it with the starters. I explained to the waiter that we wanted to eat it with our main, we ordered it as a side. He took it back. Another waitress brought the same bowl over 30 seconds later. I explained again. She said “we bring starters and sides at the same time” - which is a laughable explanation now I think of it - she all but refused to take it back. I was there for my parents’ anniversary so didn’t want to argue back a lot, but was super annoyed. We ate it with our mains 30 minutes later (it was cold).

We prebooked for a family get together on Saturday evening . The restaurant was out of house wine , out of calamari, out of Rump steak and seafood linguine - we were told this after we had ordered all of these things . We negotiated an alternative wine at house price but had to speak to the manager . A big disappointment . Service was friendly . We liked our waiter but the manager was curt and not apologetic . We won’t be back

The food was lovely but we waited over an hour for our starters and had to cancel our mains as we needed to leave for a booking and couldn’t wait. The restaurant was only half full so not sure why the food took so long!

The food was lovely. The atmosphere was great. The service was absolutely terrible. The wait between courses was far too long and it took forever to get the waiters attention for drinks.

Really nice setting, great choice of drinks and food, service was a let down. After 35 minutes of arriving I had to ask for someone to come and take out order. It was almost an hour before we got food or drinks. Bad service really let down what should be a lovely restaurant.
