Food was pretty good. Zero social distancing and very noisy
The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. The views along the river are amazing. It's like fine dining in a cozy environment. Every appetizer and main course we had was delicious. Service was great. Will definitely be back again!
Super loud, had to yell at each other. Cold fan blowing so we were cold and food was cold. Didn’t feel any different from Jeklys quite frankly .
Dorian was excellent! Food was on point
Excellent service, very nice outside seating for lunch.
Outdoor area is well desigend for pandemic concerns. Host station was efficient and organized, our server was fabulous! Food was pleasant.
This a hidden gem...simple but delicious food and great service!
Very Very nice!!! Will keep going back and continue!
I would have rated our experience as a 5 star, but one the appetizers that we had was pretty tasteless. It was the chicken meatballs and although the presentation was great the taste was quite bland. Other than that, our other appetizer the honey biscuits were amazing and both my Wife and I really enjoyed our meals.
Not to mention, we sat outside and the views of the falls were amazing and priceless!
Our server was attentive and very prompt. We liked the varied menu and the food was delicious. They also feature some interesting cocktail options.
thank you christian and to your staff for an enjoyable evening.
Beautiful atmosphere and our server was fantastic.
Unfortunately, the food does not measure up to the ambience and the location. The food was not terrible, but very mediocre. We will not go back for the food. We may go back for drinks in summer because of location and views.
I love the changes the made and the food was delicious! Definitely going back soon!
Service was fair and the food was fair at beat.
Dined at 17 River, despite hearing negative reviews from friends- unfortunately our experience echoed what I had been told. Was greeted by three moderately friendly hostesses. Ordered deviled eggs as our appetizer and two cheeseburgers, wanted to order something “safe”. Burgers arrived before eggs. Manager assured us they would be taken off the bill. My burger was delicious, however my friends came and it was a veggie burger. Took 20 minutes to get here reordered and served. Bill came and we were charged for deviled eggs, as well as both burgers. Staff seemed disconnected, our waitress, Mellisa, was wonderful, and very apologetic. Hoping it’s due to them just opening and figuring things out- but will not be returning anytime soon. Waitstaff seemed flustered and unfriendly.
Food was okay but pricey - does not have ambiance if Jekylls - No mgr coming around asking you how things are going - no valet parking attendant to be found - no mints on way out - celebrated a birthday and just got a small sundae - not like Jekylls who gave you a small cake and a card - no personal touches
Great dinner with a fantastic view of the falls. My first visit since the remodel, and they did a great job!
Skylar was an excellent waitress. She was very personable and efficient. The food was fresh and delicious, we highly recommend the sushi.
Wonderful dining experience! Beautiful views and delicious food from the lobster bisque to the appetizers to the entrees! Too full to sample dessert this time.
Kind of surprised over the seating. Theres no social distancing, and requests you leave when reserving a table does not help you. Scheduled hours in advance got there early and was told we wont have a table at our reservation time and it will be way after unless we get whatever table of available.
Also, took us forever to get glasses for the water they gave us. I had to ask another waiter for glasses and that took forever too.
Took a while for our wine to come out. Roughly 25 mins after sitting there and ordered wine we received our bottle... suggestion here.. I get it plating is everything in nice restaurants but... make sure the steak you slice into pieces is still hot/warm when it gets yo the table..
My first experience was to discover some confusion on the part of the hostice as to where she could seat our party, even though I had made my reservation 8 days in advance and confirmed it 4 days before showing up. Finally she stuck us outside without asking our preference. It was obvious had I refused that seat we would have had a long wait... regardless of our reservation. By the way, we did get rained on, thank you very much.
Our server was a very pleasant young man but clearly inexperienced and recently trained. He tried hard but had to come back and inform us TWICE they were out of items we had chosen. How do you run out of key menu offerings at 6:30pm on a Saturday. What would be left for the 9:00 crowd?!
The menu was brief but interesting. The dishes we received were very good.
I would also mention, there was very little proper social distancing throughput the establishment.
I'm hoping with time, training, and some experience things will improve.
We'll try again at a later date... fingers crossed.
Horrible drinks! Super watery - disappointing
Food was really good though
Service is slow but the view is awesome
Very clean. Tables seems spaced appropriately. Food came quickly. Definitely recommend their homemade biscuits
The cinnamon biscuits our waiter Robert recommended was worth a visit. Add a nice decor, the beauty of the Falls and you have a pleasant experience.
The food was excellent. Bartender took time to learn the drink I wanted made and it was awesome. Our waitress was great. Overall a great time and will definitely be back!
Wonderful atmosphere! Good place to go with friends, on a date, or even for a nice family dinner.
The food was good. The service was just ok though. But the ambiance is top notch. I didn't even realize that they had outdoor seating and a downstairs. The view of the falls and the lighting is incredible. If you can sit outside it's a must!
Food was average at best. Lacked flavor. I had the tuna rice bowl and it was almost all rice with 4 small pieces of tuna and barely any veggies. For the price, not worth it. My husband had the pork chop served with a tiny caprese salad. Again, lacked flavor. Check out other restaurants in the area, there are many much better.
Fantastic! Views were wonderful, food was delicious, and service was great!
Great relaxing place to have late lunch. The view of the falls was great too
The food, the service and the entire atmosphere were GREAT!!! Definitely will be back!
Service was very slow! It took forever to get our drinks and each course of food. They brought me the wrong meal, but quickly corrected that. Everything we ate was delicious, but it was so slow. I even wanted a second drink, but they never came back to take that order.
Wonderful. Only complaint was so few gluten free options on menu
Nicely appointed restaurant. Good food, beautiful view. Pleasant and knowledgeable staff.
The food was ok a little overpriced. My steak probably would have been better if it was warm when I ate it but I had to wait because my dates meal was all wrong so we had to wait for her proper meal to come out.
Awesome dinner. Food was outstanding
