   We sat outside at the back in the little patio area for a sunny Sunday lunch and it was the perfect place. Quiet, intimate and relaxing.

   One of the nicest evenings out in ages. Wonderful Portuguese wines in a promotion, with helpful staff. So nice we stayed to eat. Lovely smoked salmon and cheese board. Decent portions and not too expensive. When it came to deciding on white, rosé or red port, we were allowed to try all before deciding. A glorious experience. Will be back again.

   My husband and I enjoyed our dinner and the service was wonderful!! I wish I would have gotten our server's name, but he was the friendliest person!!

   Had a lovely meal with my wife. Would recommend. The only reason not 5 stars was that there was a Xmas party, so half the restaurant was closed off. So it was noisy and you could not get to see the art. Staff were great and would come back, just not party time of year.

   140 Portobello has a lot of potential, it has a great selection of wine which is interesting and well curated. However, the staff were more interested in their smartphones than serving us which made for a very weird experience. Anyway, after lots of badgering, we did get some nice wines and the food was OK too.

   Excellent service on pleasantly easygoing Saturday lunch. Lovely food and very reasonably priced. Will definitely return.

    Completely unprofessional and botched service. Drink orders took an interminable amount of time. Meal was finished before wine arrived. Expensive red wine was refrigerated. Waiter did not know dish preparation/ingredients and did not offer to find out. Main courses arrived BEFORE the starters. If it was so awful it was comical. After speaking with the manager, no apology was offered. Check came with an over 12£ service charge which we refused to pay. This place may be OK for take away but in-restaurant diners beware. And keep your wits about you!
