12th Knot at Sea Containers London
It was great place to go. My friends loved it. I would add more free alcohol cocktails. As I didn´t have any chance to choose. It was only one.
Great rooftop bar and excellent cocktails. This is not a restaurant though as per what the website states that is suitable for dinner. DJ was very good and friendly personnel. The food was okay and was served in platters. They did not bring any plates or cutlery so we ended having hot dog and sushi in a napkin.
A lovely place to catch up with friends. Decor is amazing service fantastic. Can’t wait to return.
I would recomend the venue to my friends but Absolutely not for food. The fries were the only good food I ate.
Fantastic rooftop bar with views over the Thames of London.
The atmosphere and clientele were relaxed and sophisticated and the cocktails superb to compliment.
Will definitely be visiting here again!
We did not receive very good service upon arrival. Waited almost 15minutes before anyone came to the table. The drinks were good and the ambiance is nice, but for the price of the drinks the service is not on par.
The service was awful and the requirements entirely unreasonable. We were informed each individual was required to spend £50, however this was not specified prior to booking. I will not be booking again in the near future.
The location is fab. The receptionist / maitre d' was quite rude when we arrived; i explained that we had called and spoken to a colleague to say we were going to be 5 minutes late for the reservation for our friend's 50th and he simply didn't believe me. i showed him the call log on my phone and gave him the name of the person i had spoken to as he blatantly didn't believe me. He was pretty unpleasant to be honest. Eventually we got a table. Food was ok - the cheese platter was good, but the other portions were on the small side for the price. Service was pretty good though. Wouldn't rush back.
Great night a bit pricey but overall fabulous
Myself an my partner booked 12th Knot for our one year anniversary after deliberating on many rooftop bars. As a result we favoured 12th Knot and we were not disappointed as were shown to our table to peruse over the cocktail list. The waitress was helpful as my partner has a number of allergies and we enjoyed our drinks which were reasonably priced (yes, expensive to us Northerners but not much different to Cloud 23 in Manchester so we cannot complain).
A spectacular view of London is provided and is well worth the price of drinks and gives an excellent opportunity to take a great photo.
The ambience was chilled and relaxed setting a tone of a calm and laid back atmosphere creating an excellent backdrop to the sensational cityscape.
We look forward to returning at a later date.
Good people. Nice cocktails. Very loud. Great views
Fabulous atmosphere, friendly staff; lively, great views
The location and views are terrific, its quite noisy and the service was OK, but it's good fun and well worth a visit.
Loved this as the rumpus rooms , drinks still as pricey , service slow and no nibbles provided .
Love the view, music was just right, staff was friendly, food is ok, would be good to keep the outside area a bit longer
Drinks were good and typical London prices for a roof top bar. Service was very very slow. Tables around us were getting a lot more attention. It felt like we were being ignored because we were younger than others and therefore they thought we couldn’t afford it and consequently didn’t pay us any attention.
I booked a table reservation for my partners birthday and on first glimpse all was perfect. However, I would only recommend this venue for one drink.
Poor table service! We were made to feel not a priority. Be prepared to wait, found it challenging to grab the servers attention. Instead go to the bar to place your order.
The atmosphere seemed very formal full of office suits, perhaps a better vibe on a weekend. What a shame! I chose this venue for my partners birthday because of the live music and previous reviews of the rooftop view. This service does not compare to the impeccable service at Lyon-ess downstairs.
Best view in town, especially outside. Service took a bit long.
Great atmosphere, beautiful views. Good DJ on a Friday night. Varied selection of cocktails a bit on the expensive side. I would definitely visit again.
Table service was terrible. Every time we wanted a drink we had to stop servers as they walked by. Previously they would approach when they could see the drinks were getting low
Pretentious, insufferable staff. HORRIBLE service.
Lovely views the staff were really friendly and the drinks are good
Great views. Service was friendly. Prices on par with other similar bars. Menu limited (we intended to have dinner, but Tuesday there is only a dumpling menu which meant we had to go elsewhere for food)
Beautiful bar with amazing views and great cocktails. Service could have been better.
We had good seats/views but that's easy enough to do when you have a rooftop bar. The service was abysmally slow - we sat for at least 20 minutes trying to catch someones attention to order more wine, only to then be told our table turnaround was going to be needed in 10 minutes.
Vegetarian options for food were fine and that's being generous (beware, I think the chips have parmesan on) but my cheese still had plastic wrapped around it.
The songs choices were good from the live band but the actual singing wasn't brilliant.
For the price, I expect better.
Great lively venue with a fabulous view of St Pauls, the City and the river. The cocktail menu was innovative and fun, the live music (a little loud) but gave the place a fantastic vibe and it was busy, bussling and a lot of fun. Service could be a little slow- but that is because it was so lively. We had the table for two hours (inside) and like most other people we went out to the balcony for the views throughout the evening. Lovely venue.
Good for a pre going on drink. Dim sum is good, cocktails are well made.
We had a table by the window so had a marvellous view over the Thamesn- amazing even on a dull, wet day. we really enjoyed our visit.
A very well appointed bar with lots of seating and sofas beautiful views accross the City - however very I mean very loud DJ playing banging sounds which no one was interested in but I had a headache within 30 mins!
A guy playing a piano would have been far better for this type of establishment and I felt it let it down badly
Great view. Great service. Wonderful experience.
Had a lovely evening with girlfriends, the bar area is stunning, the views are fab, drink selection great. The service, however was not great, the waitresses were very moody and not very attentive. However, the head guy (didnt get his name) was really accomodating and let us have the table for longer than usually allowed. Would definately go back as had a great vibe. Hopefully the staff will smile and be happy by then!
Lovely bar with fantastic live music and an amazing view from the rooftop but high prices to match.
Great bar with fantastic views of the City and Thames reached via a hidden lift in the lobby of the Sea Container hotel. The door policy is not the most friendly and when you can actually get the eye of one of the bar staff to order a drink they are pricey but tasty. Beer, wine, spirits inc lots and lots of gins-and cocktails. Hot drinks are not available but you can get one from the hotel and bring it up. Note that you need to get this authorised or you will have trouble getting back in - see my earlier comment on the friendliness of the door staff. In summary, you should come here for the view despite the mixed levels of service you will get.
Great place to have a drink. A bit too much noise but wonderful view and nice staff !
Great place for good views, excellent service and comfortable seating arrangements. We went on a Tuesday which is kitchen takeover day, we had Asian dumplings, all very tasty. Thoroughly recommend, bit pricey but worth it for a special occasion.
Horrible service we ordered a bottle of champagne took a while for waitress bring it to the table and after he pour it
He left bottle on table ,, I have to call somebody else to ask to put bottle on a bucket “common sense “
Then I asked for a liquor he forgot , he never check on our table , the 2nd bottle I have to called to somebody else .
Beautiful place but the service was the worst
The service was awful, seemed to be a an effort for the waitress to serve us. You have a table for 2 hours and are swiftly told when you need to leave. Pretentious atmosphere, shame because the views are lovely.
Had a fantastic celebration drinks here, with a great band playing live music on Wednesdays! Cheese board was lovely too. Only let down was the man organising the tables could have been much friendlier, arrived early for our table and he made us feel awkward for staying the total time we had booked (had been booked weeks in advance)! Apart from this I would definitely return.
Second time I’ve visited in 3 weeks. You have to book but service, atmosphere and views great!
