Kantu Peruvian Cuisine
Price: Expensive•Peruvian•4.9(37)Situated in Forest Hills, Queens, our cozy venue is inspired by the idea of exhibiting the essential manifestations of pre-Hispanic Peruvian art and offering a culinary experience full of history and flavor. Our goal is to engage with the community and make them proud of our commitment to high-quality food and service, with a diverse menu that ranges from the famous ceviche to different preparations of meats, sauces, and drinks.
Our beverages range from popular Peruvian soft drinks, like the purple corn lemonade, to creative cocktails prepared with exotics fruits from all over the continent and the national liqueur of Peru: El Pisco. This colorless spirit made of grape juice has become the “next big thing” in the US, and we are taking it to the next level by infusing it with fruits such as golden berries, passion fruit, pineapple, and ginger. K’antu’s signature cocktail menu is full of unique tastes. of meats, sauces, and “Pisco” signature drinks, a Peruvian brandy.Il Poeta

- AAngelaColumbus •2 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoThe service was friendly and prompt from beginning to end. The food was creative (Corn Ribs!) and delicious! We ordered 4 appetizers and 3 entrees for 3 adults and 1 child. There was only some rice and beans left over. Highly recommend: Mojo Chicken, chimichuri Chicken, Chicken skewers, Corn ribs, chicken wings and vegan chorizo tostados. Will be back to see what they come up with next! I love that we were able to sit next to the water where the ambiance of the fish in the water was a great sight to see. I also love that they allowed us to be able to celebrate a birthday celebration and they followed all the directions I asked for when making this reservation and day special for my best friend. It was a great expereince and I am glad that I chose this restaurant to celebrate my best friend birthday.
