Quebracho was founded in May 2004 by a group of friends as a new Argentinean grill style restaurant in Mexico. Its name comes from the Quebracho Colorado tree that is common in the north part of Argentina, characterized by its strength & flavor it gives the meat during grilling. The menu includes a great variety of grilled steaks including the 600 gram Quebracho cut, the Lomo, the Churrasco, the Vacio, among others. In addition the menu offers Souffléd potatoes, Caprese Salad with mozzarella cheese, Provelta, & an array of desserts.

Quebracho fue fundado en Mayo del 2004 por un grupo de amigos como un nuevo concepto de parrilla Argentina en México. Su nombre proviene del árbol Quebracho Colorado, común en la zona norte de Argentina, caracterizado por su fortaleza y por el sabor que otorga a la carne que es asada con su leña. Su parrilla se distingue por una gran variedad de cortes como el Corte Quebracho de 600 grs., el Lomo, el Churrasco, el Vacio, entre otros.

It’s a very good food and service to taste delicious meats. Window side table is also good to feel easy atmosphere but there are a little bit cool for other women attendees then it may need an attention. I’ll recommend to visit here.

Pagamos 1600 pesos para dos piezas de carne sin sabor, sin nada mas. Los bebidas no tenían alcohol. No no trajeron las carne para ver cómo los otros mesas. El mesero nunca nos checquemos.

La comida y el servicio era mala. Más caro que los EEUU seguramente.

Siempre es grato cenar aquí, carne excelente! El único inconveniente es que tienen de vecino a Papa Bil's y es muy ruidosos y música no grata, pero esto no tiene nada que ver con ustedes Quebracho! Felicidades por el servicio y la comida!

On our last evening in Mexico I stumbled onto TripAdvisor reviews of this restaurant and decided to try it out. It was probably our best meal in Mexico City. I reserved a table through Opentable, but as it was a Tuesday evening the restaurant was not full. They have an extensive red wine list and two white wines. We opted for one of the white wines - was really good (355 pesos). They had a guy playing guitar and singing, adding a nice touch to the atmosphere. They offered us English menus . We started wit the Empanadas - so good (48 pesos each). My husband ordered a steak with salad and cream spinach. I had the breaded steak napolitana. The portions are big and the food was outstanding. Our waiter was amazing. We ended the evening with mango margarita's - heaven! The total bill before tip was 1,251 pesos - bargain for the quality of food and the great service!

La reservación fue hecha con motivo de cumpleaños de mis dos hermanos. Jamás se dignaron en felicitar o hacer mención del suceso en nuestra mesa. Desconozco la razón por la que preguntan el motivo de la reunión si no hay diferencia alguna.
Otro aspecto qué hay que hacer notar es que los meseros están ávidos de enjaretarte una bebida aún antes de que hayas tomado asiento o saludar. La comida en términos generales muy buena sobre todo los cortes de carne. El caldo tlalpeño solo tiene el nombre porque sabía a sopa con agua.
Mucho por mejorar con respecto a la atención de sus clientes.

Siendo un restaurante argentino no tienen un parrillero capaz de hacer un lomo a punto, o lo dejar crudo, o lo deja seco y recocido. Es una pena. La carne es buena Y el servicio también.
En el Quebracho de la condesa nunca tuve problemas con el punto de la carne

The restaurant has a fun vibe.
Our waiter's were friendly. We drank a very tasty Spanish wine.

After lots of traditional Mexican food we were ready for a nice rare steak.
We ordered the Rib Eye. I understand that fat is what gives this delicious meat it's taste but the amount of fat on this steak was excessive. Considering that the steak is sold by weight, we felt we didn't get a real value.
Next time, we'll try another steak house.

We had a party of ten personas, and the table was ready when we arrived. We got all items to share (eg, three 700g steaks), and everything was prepared prefectly to order. The service was always on time. This is not a quiet place, but neither is it too loud.

Excelente comida, los cortes tienen un muy buena calidad y la preparación es excelente. La carta de vinos es algo reducida en cuanto a opciones. Los precios son buenos y las porciones son bastante buenas. EL único problema es la velocidad con la cual te pueden atender, el servicio estuvo algo lento y tardaron bastante entre las entradas y el plato principal como para empezar a perder el apetito.

De las mejores carnes que hemos comido, y vivimos en Uruguay! Pedimos un ojo de Bife de 900 grs. para 4 personas, ensalada cesar y papas sufles muy ricas. La atención es amable pero algunos camareros tiendes a "meterte el vino por los ojos" y sirven copas exageradas y poco elegantes con el afán de que la botella se termine muy pronto y pidas otra mas. Esto es de mal gusto para un restaurante con un carne excelente.

An appropriate Sherbert should be offered as a courtesy of the house in order to clean the palate before the arrival of the main entree in consideration to those who enjoy appetizers with tendencies of high condimentation such as EMPANADAS.
