A neighborhood gem! This family-run Italian restaurant offers a chic, rustic atmosphere in a downtown Austin landmark historic 1876 building. Enjoy outdoor sidewalk cafe dining just steps from the Texas State Capitol (dog friendly).
We feature a wide variety of authentic Italian pastas, pizza, meats, seafood & unique daily specials. (GF and Veg options). Daily specials highlight the freshest and most seasonal offerings, such as Rigatoni Alla Norcina (sausage with truffle oil), house-made Gnocchi Sorrentina, and Whole Roasted Fish. Gelato, sorbets and desserts are delicious and made in-house.
The cozy full-bar offers classic Italian cocktails and a sizable wine list representing Italy’s diverse regions.
All breads and pizza are made daily using naturally leavened dough and an ancient fermentation process; this improves digestibility and creates a delicious flavor. Neapolitan pizzas are baked at 1000 degrees in a wood-fired brick oven. Your new Austin favorite.

Ordered bread meatballs misto salad and Rigatoni to split--all was wonderful. Server probably had too many tables to handle--he was friendly. This was my 3rd time here. One of my favorites.

We had a bad experience with our order here last night and these chickens “cancelled” our reservation after we left the restaurant to try and stop a bad review. Well it’s not hard to get open table to side with you when you have receipt of your payment. The owner here is a real arrogant so and so. I would avoid the restaurant at all costs.

We loved the food! Hand made pasta with exquisite flavor! Very friendly staff. Location is perfect. Just a few step away from the Capitol.

Could be great except for the noise level. Having to yell to have a conversation across the table. Needs some acoustic help!

This local gem is hiding in plain sight on Congress. An excellent restaurant with authentic food and great service. A pleasant surprise in Austin.

We had a terrific experience at Quattro Gatti. The food and drinks were excellent. The servicer was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is a bit noisy but not unbearable. There is a vibrant bustling ambience to the place. Definitely would recommend to friends.
