Excellent meal and service! Spectacular view of the sunset!
There was no host/hostess to greet us when we arrived. All 6 of us went looking for someone to seat us. 4 of us received lunch menus while only 2 of us received dinner menus. The waitress dropped the tray with our cocktails, spilling some of the contents onto the trousers of one of the gentlemen in our group. 4 of the 6 people in our group are year round residents in a gated community in Bluffton and regularly come to Sea Pines. They will not go back to the Quarter Deck. Dinner took a very long time to arrive. There was no offer of a "comped" drink or anything after the tray was dropped. Very disappointing in every respect.
We enjoy fried oysters and fried shrimp. We both ordered the same thing. I have not had shrimp or oysters that were so large they had to be cut in half in recent memory. Not only were they huge, they were tasty. The breading was light and you were able to enjoy the taste rather than getting a mouth full of breading. Very nice. Wait staff were nice but obviously new to waiting tables at this level of restaurant.
We were not informed of the one option of the three course meal for $65 prior to being seated with our menus. Quite frankly this is a huge disappointment from one of our favorite island restaurants.
It was New Years Eve. Lot’s of noise but festive.
I was disappointed in the quality of the food, especially for the money spent. The service was very slow as well.
Dissappinted online reservations ended at 5:30pm but as we were leaving close to 7pm, people were being seated. We also stopped in prior day at 6pm and were told.kitchen was closed. It's random
We were ther during off season and the place was totally dead. The reservation on Open table said it was to be on the second floor overlooking marina. second floor was closed and we were seated in a small room on first floor that was poor ambience at best.
We had broiled mahi mahi which was excellent. Vegetable soup and vegetable of the day was very good also. Rice pilaf was crispy/undercooked.
In the off-season you are seated in the back room, which only in the summertime is appealing because of the water view. However, at night it's a very depressing atmosphere. Will not go again. Hamburgers were burned and tasteless. Children's menu is way overpriced. Two burgers, one flatbread pizza, two children's chicken tenders, three glasses of wine and an appetizer $150.
Food just ok, view is why you go.
Best steak, perfectly cooked - excellent. Cozy inside dining. Great view of boats and harbor. People watching and live music in outside area. Service was good, but not particularly attentive. Waiter didn't check on us, someone else brought our food and then some other person from the staff did a quick stop by when nearly finished with the meal.
The dinner we had was the best one we have had at Hilton Head! Absolutely delicious — and watching the sunset was an added treat!
Such a gem of a restaurant in the beautiful Harbourtown marina. The service is top notch. I happen to love the grilled romaine salad with local shrimp; and the menu offers many options to choose from. The live music is great and not too loud. Highly recommend!
Always good whenever we have eaten there. We have been coming here for many years
Our waitress was rude and not accommodating. She never smiled and wasn't friendly at all to us from the moment we sat down.
Delicious and amazing view!
We chose to dine here because of the gorgeous views. We had a reservation far in advance requesting a seat w a view for our anniversary. We were seated in an almost empty upstairs dining area literally staring at a wall. In a room almost completely made of windows, and not to mention, almost vacant, we had to turn completely around to see anything other than the tan wall. We politely asked if we might move to another table, and were told they were running on a “tight reservation” schedule. We had an overpriced (for the quality) and horrible at best meal as the room continued to have many unseated tables even as we left. The appetizers were atrocious, leaving much to be desired. We didn’t have appetizer plates or sauces, etc. The chicken I added on to my salad consisted of 3 grilled strips that were worse than the prepared precooked strips in a grocery store, truly couldn’t even chew it. Needless to say, don’t be drawn in by the beauty....unless it’s just for a drink.
While the views were beautiful, the food was mediocre.
I never leave reviews, but felt I wanted to after dining here. I dined with my husband and three daughters. I was dissapointed that we weren't sat where there was a view, as that was the reason we chose this restaurant. The food was just ok. No bread brought to the table. Broiled scallops were barely cooked, with no color. Shrimp skewer was not hot. $12 flatbread cheese pizza was worth about $2. Staff was pleasant, but for $140 dollars for our family dinner, it was very underwhelming.
First time to Quarterdeck! Two couples on vacation! Loved everything about our dining experience. Our waitress told us the specials and answered our questions. Food was outstanding!
Overall it was a great time. Live music by the water is always a good thing. However, our waiter was also the bartender. He didn't seem to really care that we were there. He seemed to rush us to get our food b/c the kitchen was closing. But other people came in after we did and still got food as well. Our reservations were for 8:30 and he said the kitchen closes at 9? Who can actually have a good experience in 30 minutes? It was good and we will go back, just a little earlier to actually be able to really enjoy it.
Very nice restaurant, food was good and did give a variety of options. Worked for our family with 2 kids 10 and under. We were seated on the second floor inside which was nice with good views of the water. We would have had a much better experience if we could have been seated on the outside deck where the acoustic musician was playing (no fault of the restaurant, we decided late to eat there). If we are back in Hilton Head we will go back there.
Great time. Took our 18 minute month old granddaughter for an early dinner. Waitress was so kind to her. Very smart to bring her grilled cheese out before anything else. Our meals...tuna and scallops were delicious. We loved listening to to singer when we got outside.
Best meal my wife and I have ever had! And we have eaten at a lot of 5 star restaurants. Th smoked cheddar dip was delicious!!!!! The filet mignon was the best steak I’ve had. The only bad part was it’s taken us 4 trips to Hilton Head to find this restaurant! Our waiter was great! Funny... personal... and on top of the drinks! Can’t wait to go back! And the view was one of a kind of the harbor!
Young ladies at front desk were inattentive and rather short when challenged about our seating. Gave an untruthful responce.
Group of 20
Lots of families with small children. We were there early and just the two of us, and we unexpectedly were overwhelmed by the noise of the kids. Otherwise the place was great. Great view great food great service!
There were lots of vacant tables but our request for a table with a view was declined and we were forced to sit at a table in a quiet area that quickly filled with a large party (and us). Ambience, food and service were less than hoped for. Overall felt disappointed.
The food was great and the view is one of the best.
Handsome waiter Ryan was very attentive. Fried shrimp did not disappoint!
Excellent and the view of the sunset over the ocean was spectacular. Recommend highly. Our waiter was also great.
We were very disappointed with this restaurant. Prices were extremely high for the value. The dishes we ordered were 75% french fries and just two small pieces of fish. The service was good.
Worst place we have ever been on the island in my 45 years
Nice views but the food isn’t that great. Low quality. Better values with much better food on the island.
We really liked the calamari and she crab soup. Entrees were so-so. Service was great.
Delicious food options and see if peaceful view of the water.
Food was just okay. Service was good.
The views were spectacular. Our server was amazing. She was very attentive and interacted well with the children in our party. With a party of 10, she did an amazing job.
