Brockton Villa
Brockton Villa is a charming La Jolla beach cottage, circa 1894, which was converted into a restaurant in 1991. Our seaside location offers a spectacular views of the world-famous La Jolla Cove, and has become a favorite “show off” destination for locals and visitors alike. Not only for the views but the award winning menus. Due to popular demand, we have expanded our repertoire to include private parties. Our “house” is small and inviting and we have maintained the original floor plan, with a “mud room,” dining room and wrap-around veranda. We relocated the entrance to the north side of the property and we added an outdoor patio area there as well. We offer a beautiful setting and a quiet atmosphere for special occasions. Our banquet manager, Alan will assist you with your event planning needs. We know you’ll fall in love with our unique, charming location and spectacular view.

The Inside Dining Room features a large abalone-inlaid (gas) fireplace, which was added to Brockton Villa around the 1920s. The tables inside are light woods, with eclectic chairs and upholstered bench seating, accommodating up to 50 guests. Our fireplace room offers an ocean view with a cozy, inviting atmosphere. It is perfect for business meetings, holiday parties, showers, birthday parties, book parties, family brunches and tour group meals.
Upper Patio

The Outside Patio offers a spectacular open-air setting with panoramic views of the La Jolla Cove. It is the perfect location for a reception because of the outdoor bar or a intimate dining event. An old pepper tree covers the area which is lit at night by party lights. The space seats 25 guests comfortably. The Outside Patio area is also the entrance to the restaurant, so privacy is limited unless your party is using the Brockton Villa Restaurant exclusively.
Veranda

The Veranda is our covered porch, clear vinyl covers that can be raised or lowered depending on the weather. There are spectacular view of the La Jolla Cove, and a great sunset vantage point during the evening. The West Veranda can seat up to 18 guests. The entire Veranda makes a great cocktail setting as well.
Nook

The Nook is the original "Mudroom" of the home. It is semi-private with one table and two banquettes. It is perfect for a small business meeting, intimate showers or birthday parties and intimate dinner parties. It has views of the La Jolla Cove though a large window that encompasses most of the West wall and the glass door and surrounding windows on the North wall.

You can rent out the entire house to host your event. It is perfect for wedding receptions, small weddings, birthday parties, holiday parties and work parties.
