WE ARE BARLEYMASH, an American bar and restaurant located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter and devoted to all things barley: beer, bread, and bourbon. We believe that life is meant to me sipped and savored, and good times should always be shared. Wrap that vision up with 30 handcrafted beers on tap, a love for bourbon, our progressive scratch-made and sustainable bar fare menu, and you've got the barleymash culture. It is our hopes that upon entering our doors, you feel that our home is yours.

Ginger's
100 Standing | 45 Seated
Ginger's is our martini bar and private event space located downstairs from barleymash. This space boasts historic brick walls with it's own bar, separate restrooms, and a wall-length 9-screen TV matrix perfect for photo slideshows, company logos, PowerPoint presentations, and any other AV needs your group may require. Ginger's can accommodate seated dinners, tray passed appetizers, and/or buffet-style meals. This space can be used in conjunction with Elbow Bar for groups of up to 150 guests.

Elbow Bar

Our Elbow Bar is located in the back left corner of the restaurant and can accommodate casual, semi-private groups up to 50 guests. This space is stanchioned off to give guests access to their own bar, several TV's which can be utilized for branding/company logos, and provides access to our side patio! Elbow Bar can accommodate tray passed appetizers and smaller food stations, and can be utilized in conjunction with Ginger's to accommodate cocktail-style groups of up 150 guests.

barleymash can accommodate full venue buyouts up to 550 guests! Buying out the restaurant will give your group private access to the entire venue including three in-house bars, over 50 TV's (which can be utilized for branding, company logos, videos, etc), full AV, in-house staging, access to our private event space (Ginger's), as well as a custom food and beverage package by our in-house Executive Chef, Kevin Templeton, and pastry team!
