Outstanding food nice bright atmosphere
Great food and service!!
Gorgeous remodel… Service was on point and the food was outstanding. Beautiful menu and flawless execution from Chef Michael. We can’t wait to go back.
Wonderful service, and experience. Food was absolutely fantastic
Staff not familiar with menu or customer preferences. Ordered vegan meal. Brought a meat started compliments of the chef.
Food was outstanding. Arancini appetizers delicious!! Excellent sauce!!
Great cocktail and wine list. Nice modern Italian bistro ambiance!!
End of a convention at the hotel.
Excellent food and service, the main restaurant is under renovation, so you eat in another space which isn’t as nice as the pictures online, but still the food was excellent
Our waitress was super sweet and service and food was amazing !
It was excellent
Via the booking process it was not known that Primo was being renovated and the menu was being served in an alternate space. The food was average, not what would be expected of a high end restaurant. Server was not very attentive, had to track her down a couple of times.
Primo Restaurant is currently undergoing major changes in decor. The original location is closed and the venue has been temporarily been moved downstairs to the Citron Restaurant location. The menu was limited to only five entree items, as well as the appetizers. All of this should have been noted on Open Table. If I had known this, I would not have dined there. This temporary location is suppose to go til the end off July. Alcholol drink prices are ridiculous, as they are about $3.00 higher than the bar venues one floor above. On the positive side, our server (Martha) did a wonderful job of taking care of us.
Anna the manager made our sons 10th birthday one to remember. We appreciate her checking in with us to see how things were and not just asking us but the 10 year old. We had the best experience we booked another night.
Great food. But it was the last night they were going to be open for 5 months. Under new ownership and they are gutting the place. I think there will be a small dining room to use while remodeling. But the major restaurants at this location are hard to get in to.
Great service and excellent food
Always a must when in Orlando
Our server Brandon was amazing! He had the best recommendations and the food was excellent. I would definitely suggest this restaurant if you are staying at the JW Marriott or Ritz Carlton.
My daughter birthday.
The service was very good and a very nice staff. The food is expensive and not good at all. It was salty and the pastas were overly seasoned with spice and heat. The calamari was tough and very salty. Not a good dining experience.
Exceptional service and food quality — they throw in all the extras
The food was wonderful and the service was outstanding. Will Deere coming back while we are still in the area
Amazing restaurant. Food, service, ambiance - all outstanding. Pasta made in-house. Wish we lived in Orlando so we could go more often! Highly recommend.
Ambiente agradable y buen servicio. Aunque el precio no esta de acorde a la calidad. Recomendable!!
Our server was very attentive. The charcuterie plate was delicious, as was our dessert. A lovely very evening!
Great for birthdays
Valentines Day celebration
Another great experience! Food and service was on point.
Great restaurant on the property at the JW! Food was excellent, service was great, we will be back!!!
So disappointing that this resort’s restaurant was so poor. Had it been available, I would have given this a negative star.
We highly recommend Primo! We loved everything about our meal. The wine, food and service were exceptional!
We were visiting Orlando and wanted Italian food. We were so glad we choose Primo because everyone loved the food, our server was wonderful and we can’t wait to go back. We started with the Charcuterie board and it was filled with 4 different cheeses, 3 different meats, honeycomb, nuts and breads. It was perfect to enjoy some wine and cocktails and start the evening. We enjoyed the chef’s specialty, Saltimbocca and short rib linguine. We finished dinner with gelato and chocolate cake and left completely happy Thanks to a great server who kept things flowing perfectly.
Love the food, service, and ambiance at Primos. Thank you.
The food was good but a bit overpriced, IMO. Did not like the ambiance at all. The way the restaurant is set up is not conducive to a romantic dinner experience.. we felt closed off from the rest of the tables. We were a bit disappointed as we are used to higher quality restaurant experiences at the J W Marriott.
Excellent food and the service was fantastic. Everyone was maintaining safety measures and were very attentive. Food like I said was phenomenal, our plates were spotless at the end of the meal. Definitely would come back! Great Italian spot!
Fish cooked to perfection and the roasted (grown onsite) vegetables were incredible!
Menu changes but selections offered variety of dishes. Nice wine selection. We dined during Covid so the ambience may not have been as lively as usual. Service was excellent. Food was very fresh and prepared well.
Excellent food and service. One of my favorite places to eat when visiting the area.
Food was amazing, waitstaff was good although it took a long time to eat@
This is the only negative review I have ever left, but it was really not great. I went to Primo really excited about the fact that they had an in-house garden they sourced their vegetables from. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The poor rating comes from the food. Although I rarely eat pork, the staff said that the pork scallopini was truly the special of the house and excellent in all ways. I additionally ordered the mixed grill because I really wanted to try all those super fresh vegetables that had been the draw in the first place. The waiter told me that it was never set what was on the grill because it was just what was picked fresh that day! Awesome. The scallopini reminded me of a hungry man dinner. The pork was ok, but on top of I guess mashed potatoes that had the taste and consistency of instant. Seriously. There was an unnoteworthy brown gravy and a slice of ham that had an off taste that made me think it was maybe not stored dry enough or was just a bit old. That was it. Beige. For a place that markets itself for it's fresh veg, it was sad that they presented a dish with no color or veg. The mixed grill was a plate of blistered vegetables and it was evident they were not fresh out of the garden. It had cauliflower florets, which would not be grown in FL and ripe at that time, asparagus and broccoli rabe, both also not likely. There were some peppers and green onions that could have been fresh, but FL should have been greens, lettuces, beets, etc. The taste was certain that it was mostly frozen vegetables, dry charred. Not great.
It was only important because this is an expensive restaurant. The quality should have been much higher. It certainly wasn't a fresh farm to table meal, nor even something I would expect from the Ritz (the site says Primo is at the Ritz, even though it's actually next door in the Marriott). The people were very nice, but I would not return nor recommend this to anyone, even guests without transportation. Order a pizza.
Great food and wait staff!
Martha was very knowledgeable, pleasant and attentive.
