We are honored that Primo has been designated a Recommended Restaurant in the inaugural Florida 2022 MICHELIN Guide. Led by award-winning chef Melissa Kelly, our restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine, featuring organic produce and a carefully crafted wine list.

The menu focuses on the farm-to-table experience with seasonal highlights including produce, honey and eggs sourced from on-premises Primo Garden and Whisper Creek Farm in addition to Mick's Farm and Frog Song Organics in the local community. All seafood is also locally sourced from Florida waters, including clams from Cedar Key, white shrimp and squid from Cape Canaveral, and Snapper, grouper, and other seasonal catch from Ponce Inlet. Mountain Trail Farm in Clermont, FL provides Primo with whole pigs, which are prepared several different ways. Primo also has a long-standing relationship with Lake Meadows Naturals in Ocoee, FL for chicken and ducks.

Primo Aperitivo Hour will be taking place Friday and Saturday evenings from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm in the Primo Bar. During Aperitivo Hour, the Primo Bar area will be open before the restaurant opens for guests looking to enjoy a happy hour at the hotel before dinner. Featured menu items during Primo Aperitivo Hour are the below... Signature spritz cocktails: • Tyrian Spritz (Purple drink in photos) • Sogni D’Oro (Yellow drink in photos) • Sirocco Spritz (Red drink in photos) We also are featuring a non-alcoholic Ume Spritz (Aplós Calme, Ume Plum, Oroblanco Grapefruit, White Tea, Sea Buckthorn). The flight will be our G+T Experience (Small flight in photos), where guests will be able to craft their own gin & tonic from a selection of gin, tonics and mixers. The gins are Malfy Originale, Malfy Limon, and Malfy Arancia; the tonics are Fever Tree Premium Tonic, Fever Tree Lemon Tonic, and Fever Tree Rhubarb + Raspberry Tonic. The herbs will be based on seasonality and picked fresh in our Primo Garden.

Our seating was at 5:45 and the restaurant was mainly empty. Hostesses were very welcoming and sat us at a nice corner table with was great for a 6 year old and 2 adults. Service was quick and efficient. Our server even found lemonade for our little. Our only complaint was the loud noise in the private dining room straight in front of us. It was a crowd that rotated in and out during a corporate events happy hour. After some time, they were able to close one set of doors and near the end of our meal they closed the other doors which helped considerably. By the time our meal was coming to an end the restaurant had filled up and with the increased number of diners the sound was muffled. The manager came to our table and apologized . I would definitely recommend this for dinner at the hotel as I hope this was probably was unusual for the private dining area.

The restaurant was too loud to be enjoyable. Terrible acoustics. I expect better ambience for the prices of the food and for being in a JW Marriott.

Not really a good selection of food. Order the snapper but it was too fishy. The drinks were great. The service from Alyssa and Mo were impeccable. All pasta is al dente, not the biggest fan but the sauce from the lobster dish was great.

I took my lovely bride, Rhianna, to Primo for her birthday and it was amazing as always. The food, service and atmosphere made for a wonderful evening. Our 10 year old son joined us and he loves the spaghetti and meatballs. He claims that they are the best in the world! The only slight negative was that the bar was very busy and they only had one bar tender working. For a Friday night before the Memorial Day holiday, you would expect better planning. However, the bar tender did a wonderful job trying to keep up and even joked that he would welcome my help behind the bar if management would have allowed it. Overall, still gave our evening the highest marks.
