We are honored that Primo has been designated a Recommended Restaurant in the inaugural Florida 2022 MICHELIN Guide. Led by award-winning chef Melissa Kelly, our restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine, featuring organic produce and a carefully crafted wine list.

The menu focuses on the farm-to-table experience with seasonal highlights including produce, honey and eggs sourced from on-premises Primo Garden and Whisper Creek Farm in addition to Mick's Farm and Frog Song Organics in the local community. All seafood is also locally sourced from Florida waters, including clams from Cedar Key, white shrimp and squid from Cape Canaveral, and Snapper, grouper, and other seasonal catch from Ponce Inlet. Mountain Trail Farm in Clermont, FL provides Primo with whole pigs, which are prepared several different ways. Primo also has a long-standing relationship with Lake Meadows Naturals in Ocoee, FL for chicken and ducks.

I cannot say enough about our experience last night! The food was extraordinary, the service was impeccable, the ambiance and decor was superb, and the entire experience was so enjoyable! My only wish is that we could pack up the staff and bring them home with us! Fantastic!

We dined at all of the hotel’s restaurants and this was the only one we had a negative experience with. Our main course took close to an hour, the service was subpar, and it was overall not worth the money.

We dined at Primo on 9/2/23 to celebrate 5 different September birthdays. We have eaten here before and had a great experience with the last chef who supposedly went on to work with Gordon Ramsey on cooking videos. While the dinner service was good as was the food the Pork Saltimbocca which was a signature dish was dry and uninventive. The Ribeye and appetizers were all very good as well as the pizza. We let our Server Jordy (or Jorgy) know that we were celebrating birthdays. After we were done with dinner he brought out Birthday deserts. While receiving the bill we noticed that he charged us for the Birthday deserts that we did not order and when confronted quickly took them off. When this was brought up to the manager she was no help nor did she recognize what our sever was seemingly doing by adding to our bill which was going to be automatically gratuity. While in the hotel lobby bar the beverage manager Ernie came up to my to let me know that I was cut off from ordering drinks which he said came from the Primo where we ate. At no time was I told this and Ernie tried everything to rectify the issue as we both believe was retaliation and with malicious intent. If you are celebrating here be careful for the shady practices of the wait staff and the poor response of the manager.

Terrible experience. Uncomfortable seating, seafood tower very disappointing and the rigatoni was inedible. Waiter never inquired why we left essentially all of our entries. A big waste of money and a poor reflection on this Marriott property.

It was my beautiful daughters 21st birthday. She was so excited about this wonderful delicious restaurant that she always looks into all her want to go restaurants. Yes she really is a true foodie. So we all had a tasty diner. And enjoyed every minute of our stay. Just to let you know this wonderful place was one of the most pleasures that I had. Always will remember. Thank you to all the help of the fantastic waiter we had. We will return in the near future.

I was expecting so much and that is the problem. The amuse bouche and the appetizer were amazing. I was looking forward to the pasta, since it was made in house! Then the food came out, and it was too salty. I really couldn’t enjoy it. I like my food on the salty side in general; so when I say something is salty, it definitely is. Service was excellent. Staff was very friendly. I might come back here for appetizers.

Very very loud. Like an elementary school cafeteria. Pasta dishes were watery, and the prices are steep for the quality. Service was good, had to refill my own water glass several times, at a place priced like this, that shouldn’t happen. I wouldn’t return.

We visited Primo Orlando as I’ve always enjoyed my meal at Primo in Rockland. We were celebrating our friend who graduated with her masters degree. The food was amazing and the perfect treat after a long tiresome experience of obtaining her degree. We shared 2 appetizers and a pizza, and we all shared 3 entrees. Everything was delicious. I was a little surprised to see the red sauce pairing with the sweet potato ravioli but it was none the less yummy. We finished it with a bread pudding to share that was perfect.

The food and service were both amazing. The only hitch in the night were the acoustics in the restaurant. My Fiancée and I were only 3 feet from each other and we were having to shout at each other. Not a deal-breaker but not very intimate.

We were treated very well ! The waiter was amazing and he told the owner Chef Melissa Kelly about our being big fans. She came to see us and take pictures. They noted my daughter’s birthday as well! It was a fantastic dining experience! And our special occasion memorable !

My new Fiancée and I were celebrating our engagement at the JW Marriott. Our whole stay was an amazing experience except for our dinner at Primo. We arrived at 8:30 for our reservation and were sat by the host. Nice quiet atmosphere. After our server introduced himself and brought water and the wine we ordered, he was non existent. We had to keep calling other staff members to help us take our orders, clean the table etc. Our appetizers were ordered with our server’s assistance (baby kale salad and arancini) made it to the table 45 minutes later by 9:15. Only one out of the 2 pizzas we ordered made it by 9:50 as the other one was overcooked and we had to cancel it. Our server again was careless until the host sat a party of about 15 people next to us where he appeared for the second time the whole night. Our reservation was made by the hotel concierge who made a note that it was our engagement but no one seemed to care. For a recommended restaurany by the “michelin guide”, the food was rather OK, but this was a very disappointing and even frustrating experience considering the high level of service at the hotel and the occasion we were celebrating. I did not want to make a big deal out of it at the spot as my fiancée and I were trying to enjoy and celebrate but I really hope the service at the restaurant improves.

Sat for almost 20 minutes before a server came to table. There were about 4 servers walking around waiting on everyone else, except us. Seemed to be some confusion as to who had our table. Asked the hostess to find our server and it was another 10 minutes before some one showed up. For the prices not sure it was worth it. Live locally so have gone multiple times. Feels like quality has gone down.
