   Robert was a great waiter, knowledgeable and attentive but not intrusive. Tables are a little too close together. Food was outstanding.

   We sat on the porch and it was just perfection. I haven’t dined in such a quiet atmosphere in a long time. The roasted clams flavorful, and not chewy. The sweet potato soup was creamy and very tasty. We enjoyed the shrimp and grits and the fish. There could have been a little more spice in the etouffee (served with fish) for my liking. We wished they had espresso to enjoy with our desserts, but regular coffee was fine. The bread pudding was moist and the brown butter ice cream on top was even better. I would definitely recommend this place and go again for some other interesting menu items.

    I used to have a favorite restaurant in St. Augustine, a city my husband & I frequently visit. After dining at Preserve for the first time, that restaurant got kicked to the curb! Preserve is simply magnificent!

    We had an absolute wonderful time at Preserved, celebrating my birthday. I dined with my husband, two young children, my dad and my uncle. Everything from the greeting, to the delicious food and wine, and complimentary dessert was impeccable. The staff couldn't have been nicer & understanding about us having my two young children 3 and 1 join us. The food was outstanding and I wish I could have tried everything on the menu! I will definitely make a trip back the next time I am in St. Augustine.

    Made reservations for dinner on Saturday night and it was so good that we made reservations and returned Tuesday evening. Highly recommend, excellent food and an excellent wine selection.

    This is my favorite place to eat in St Augustine due to it being in and around a beautiful victorian house with superb food and a nice selection from the menu . Good service and nice people. never a disappointment !!

    This was our second visit to Preserved. We were seated on the porch at our request. The tourist trains going by were a bit bothersome but we expect that in St Augustine. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. The scallops were wonderful. Cooked perfectly on a vegetable hash. My husbands NY strip was delicious. Cooked carefully to a medium rare. Dessert of crème Brûlée did not disappoint. It was a bit on the chilly side but the space heaters were available. We loved the entire experience and will go again.

    Southern influences in an ever changing farm-to-table menu with local seafood selections. An extensive world-wide wine list along with interesting regional micro-brews. All this in a setting of grand St Augustine home, with indoor parlor, or wrap-around verandah, and protected courtyard seating. Ambiance is quiet for conversation with friends and loved ones and impeccable service. Restaurant is a few blocks from the Ancient City downtown and Inn district, but well worth a short walk or with easy on-site parking. This will be a destination for future trips to the area.

    Despite stormy weather, the wait staff did an outstanding job taking care of us in the outside dining area. Our food was delicious, presented beautifully, and hot and fresh. Kudos to the whole Preserved team.

    The service was outstanding! Very cheerful and attentive staff. We thought the food was overpriced compared to the same meals we have eaten elsewhere. Menu is limited but features something for everyone. I was surprised that a glass of wine was $20! And all sides including salad and vegetables were expensive add-ons. Appetizers were in the $20 range. We chose to dine in the courtyard but the tables were very close together and conversations were clearly heard. Just not our top place here in St. Augustine.

    New York Strip Steak was ordered well done, and it came out still pink, more like medium well. My wife didn't finish the $60 steak because the meat not being done enough. No one came to check until we were almost done with the meal. Mint ice cream was overpowering, not at all what was expected.

    We went for a birthday dinner. The roasted oysters were an awesome starter. My wife had the Canaveral Shrimp and Grits which was great. I had the fish of the day… Flounder that was delicious. A comp crème brûlée was perfectly prepared and the Apple Bread Pudding with brown butter ice cream was amazing. Preserved never disappoints!

    As per usual, everything about our meal, from start to finish, was absolutely wonderful. The roasted oysters were to die for as a shared appetizer. The bouillabaisse was outta this world delicious as was the pan seared chicken. Our shared dessert, creme brûlée was heavenly as always. Totally love this place. Service is highly professional but everyone who works at Preserved is congenial, helpful, efficient, down to earth and genuinely warm,

    We were here 3 years ago last time we were visiting St Augustine, and it was a must place to return. Love the ambiance of this restaurant, particularly when you sit on the patio. Service was exceptional as it was last time. Roasted oysters to start were incredible. Bouillabaisse and Braised Short Ribs for entrees were very good.

    We were glad we had a 5:00 reservation. We chose to sit outside and it was a lovely night however, the tables in the courtyard are very close to each other and when the guest arrived that were sat next to us, there was no privacy. We could clearly hear everything they were saying and vice versa. Luckily, they didn’t arrive until 6:00. We enjoyed the music and they food was delicious. Our waitress was top notch!!
