Great dinner even outdoors under the tent in the rain. Cannot wait to come back. Steak was incredibly prepared.
Food was delish nice place in the historic St Augustine
Fabulous birthday dinner. Perfect night out. Food was delicious & the service was friendly & efficient. Sat outdoors which made for a beautiful setting. Can’t wait to return!
Thank you for a great dining experience to celebrate our wedding anniversary!
Excellent place! We went for Sunday brunch. Food and service were wonderful. My friends and I wanted a cheese board and it was not on the menu. I asked if it was possible for the kitchen to create a cheese board as a starter and they gladly accommodated. We also ordered oysters and shrimp n grits. All the entrees and appetizers were divine. Highly recommend this restaurant.
This was a small group of 4 family members to enjoy brunch together. It was a very rainy day, but we still had wonderful seats on the incredible porch. There was a heater above and on the floor that kept us warm. The wait staff is amazingly professional and make the dining experience a true pleasurable experience. Two of our party members had the shrimp and grits. I could not describe it less than decadent. We actually started with the pastry tray. The pastries were delicious. They let us know before we ordered what would be included. They were not too sweet but just right and complemented their delicious coffee. We also had mussels served with some crusty toast to soak up the savory juice. One family member had the butternut squash soup which again was seasoned to perfection. My son had the steak dish and I had the chicken hash which were both highly recommended. This was our second brunch. We all tried something new but we all loved all of our dishes from both experiences. We will definitely be back at our next St.Augustine visit to historical Lincolnville.
Amazing service. Food was excellent, especially the roasted oysters. Can’t wait to go back
The location to service and the food, with the environment was great
Unfortunately it was raining but we sat on the covered porch and still loved it! The food was excellent and our server was great! We are heading back before we leave town!
Awesome as always! My wife and I love it here!
We love Preserved — It’s consistently delicious. Waitstaff is attentive. And one can’t beat the ambience on the lovely covered porch.
Preserved was excellent! The waitstaff were knowledgeable and congenial...the ideal combination of friendliness and professionalism. The food was perfectly prepared and presented. In my opinion it is the best restaurant in St. Augustine! I am from New York and when I told a "foodie" friend at home about Preserved, she remembered she had been there a few years ago. She was visiting family who lived in Ponte Vedra, and the word was out, that Preserved was THE place to go. The drive from Ponte Vedra to St. Augustine was absolutely worth it!
The back-server was the only capable person we met, including the chef. My husband's coq au vin consisted of three overcooked, dried up chicken breasts on top of the vegetables. Had server bothered to check on us after meal was brought out, we would have returned it. When he finally returned and we complained, he said, "Yeah, sorry".
Very disappointing.
Superb! Food, service, atmosphere, everything was just perfect. I had seafood both as appetizer and entree and they were absolutely delicious, and so was my creme brûlée. Long wine list and many options by the glass as well. Service was impeccable, I never had to ask for anything as they were always checking on me.
Last but not least, kudos to the low noise level and music background. Food definitely tastes better to the tunes of Nat King Cole and Ella Fitzgerald!
Excellent service and food! Will definitely return with friends & family.
We have been regulars at Preserved since they opened...including takeouts during Covid. Had our continuing experiences not been wonderful, we would not have become “regulars”!!!
Easter brunch. Excellent as always.
Delicious Sunday brunch, excellent attentive service
Amazing spot. Love the charm, the food and the service!
They ran out of pastries which was a bummer
We went for brunch and the food was good but I was expecting something better. I had the crab egg Benedict they were delicious and my husband had the special wich was eggs with chorizo casserole, it was basically same ingredients. Both plates were very Different but they taste the same and use repeated ingredients same potatoes, same spices, they just change protein and add corn. Also I was looking at other plates and everything looked the same. The table of pastries was very boring we asked for it since the server said it was one of their more popular options but I really didn’t care for it. Service was excellent and parking is very convenient.
What a wonderful little restaurant tucked away from the tourist zones of St. Augustine! We were so happy to find this gem of a restaurant with amazing food! The braised short ribs are phenomenal. It was nice to be in a quiet little restaurant away from the tourist traps down near the main square.
A wonderful dining experience. We started with free sparkling wine. The baked oysters were delicious. The arugula salad served 3 of us. Dinners were beautiful presented and delicious. I had Coq au Vin.
The food was as good as it has ever been. They never disappoint.
Great menu, great service, our server was informed and her recommendations were well received. Fabulous flavor.
Lovely dinner with superb service.
We had dinner out on the porch. Service was elegant, menu selection and food was wonderful. On the pricey side, but overall experience totally worth the cost.
The short abs were absolutely delicious as were the mashed potatoes. The pork chop was tasty but not as good as the short ribs. We sat outside on the porch and it was delightful
Always excellent food and service with a fantastic wine selection.
I’m glad my wife made the reservation when she did. We were visiting St. Augustine and were told a reservation at Preserved was hard to get. We now know why!
The short rib was delicious and tender. My wife also enjoyed her meal. My wife had a salad and I had oysters before our entrees and they were wonderful.
The service was great. The only problem that we experienced was the fact that our waitress didn’t take our entree orders until the appetizers arrived, which led to a delay. In fact, our entrees arrived an hour after we sat down.
Otherwise we had a great experience and will return should me return to St. Augustine.
We had a wonderful meal at Preserved. The dining area outside was lit with lovely small lights and the tables were well spaced. It was someone in our party's birthday and he was offered a complementary dessert which was lovely. The wait staff were attentive but not overly so and the food was absolutely delicious. Steak tartare was fabulous and the shrimp and grits were among the best we've had in Florida. It was memorable and we would highly recommend.
Everything was outstanding from wine list, food, service and atmosphere
great service, tried the Sheepshead fish & it was excellent. Creamed spinach was delicious. Scallops & Bouillabaisse were very good. Would have like a little bigger serving of the Bouillabasse and a second piece of the crusty bread with it to soak up the broth!
I’ve lived here for six years and have always thought that Collage was the best restaurant in town. Well move over Collage because Preserved is right there with you with the added benefit of outside seating. I’m thinking that Preserved is now my favorite. Food, service, and ambiance at the highest level
We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. They were very kind to offer a glass of free sparking wine or free Creme Brûlée with our meal. The outside seating area is beautiful but the tables were very close to each other- so much so that we could hear the entire conversations of those around us. We appreciate the locally sourced food but paying $45 for a bland tasting steak was overpriced. There were also only 4 scallops for the other meal, although they were very good.
We were really looking forward to dining here, however, it ended up quite disappointing. The sr hostess was not welcoming or professional. She was curt and rude. We dine out often and have never been treated as we were. I considered leaving due to her demeanor. We did get seated on the porch (as was my reservation request), however, it was the worst table, next to the door. our server was very pleasant and attentive. Poor ‘by the glass’ selection of wine -only 1 Cabernet? Gazpacho was light & refreshing. Arugula salad was fine. We both ordered the bouillabaisse which was completely underwhelming & bland. It desperately needed seasoning & the rouille didn’t even help, as it was also bland. Overall, not a good dining experience. We wouldn’t return.
Located in beautifully restored old building in Lincolnville. The interior is modern decor. The food prepared is first rate and the service in excellent. We had Sunday brunch of shrimp and grits, one of the best we've ever had.
Our server and service was horrible!
Food was delicious!
We went for my birthday brunch and it was so nice. The roasted oysters were amazing and changed my life. I had the salmon benedict and it was phenomenal. The egg was poached perfectly. My husband had the steak and eggs and he said his steak was perfect also. We finished up with creme brûlée and it was amazing! The service was excellent and our glasses were never less than half full. We ate in the courtyard and it was so beautiful. The only downside was there were a couple of ants on our table, but that’s to be expected with outdoor dining.
Preserved is consistently good in all aspects, from food to service to the atmosphere! One of our favorite eating establishments in all of St. Augustine.
