Preserved Restaurant, owned and operated by James Beard Award nominee Chef Brian Whittington, serves authentic, locally-sourced, ingredient-driven southern cuisine, giving homage to the history of Lincolnville.
Our waitress did not seem very attentive. She didn’t check after our meal was served, and we had y to o ask another wait staff to check on our food because it had been so long. After asking the good came out promptly.
It was good, not as outstanding as I expected...seemed to be confusion while seating, although they had my reservations. Eggs benedict were cold
All around awesome. They have a great variety and all is delicious!
Cute restaurant with amazing service! Brunch was so yummy and the ambiance is very quaint. We loved it so much that we were lucky enough to get a reservation for dinner before going back home! Highly recommended. Next time we come visit St. Augustine, this will be our go to restaurant.
Quaint dining experience with such amazing detail to food. Nearly every part of the meal is made on premises, such as caramel sauce. Service was impeccable. Worth every penny!
Another outstanding meal at one of St Augustine's premier restaurants.
Excellent restaurant... outstanding food in a Victorian house with an excellent atmosphere... we really appreciate our dinner ... the wine list also is pretty good... perfect ... I highly recommend...
Birthday, best food and atmosphere!
The atmosphere was wonderful and the wine selection superior. The food was very well prepared and the presentation was wonderful. The service was spectacular. Well Done!
Fabulous!!! Service was Excellent!! Food was Incredible!! Going back tonite If I can get a Res. 😳😳😳👍👍👊🏻🤗
I love this restaurant. The charm of the Victorian home, the splendid wraparound porch, the delightful courtyard. The service is excellent, the food is the best in St Augustine for high end dining. Highly recommended!
Food was very good, but not worth the price. Service was slow and spotty until another waiter took over. Ambiance was ok, but not great and quite loud. We probably will not return. Dinner for two was over $200 and that was mid priced entrees, split salad and split desert, 3 glasses of wine. Their wine prices where very high considering the selection.
The food was terrific and the waiter knew his menu and food. The ambience was awesome. Great restaurant and wonderful food.
We enjoyed a very nice brunch here. Our party of 7 was seated in the courtyard and we had great service and the meal was delicious.
Great brunch at great prices. Dinners there are "elegant".
Food was great, service and ambiance. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I look forward to visiting again.
This is a special occasion restaurant. All of the food is high quality but the portions are a bit small. Great wine choices but a bit pricey. Lovely porch and courtyard. Intimate inside in historic home. Service was outstanding.
Had flounder ( special), roast chicken, veg Shepherds Pie and mussels frite. All were excellent, but nothing special about the mussels frite. Spinach salad was large enough to share and delicious.
Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere and great staff. What more can you say? Tomato tartar was so yummy!
My sisters and I took my mother there for dinner on a girls weekend. Very pretty and comfy, sat in the terrace with heaters. Food was delicious!
Shared a golden beet soup as an appetizer & it was fabulous, should have gotten 2! A Smokey flounder and the shrimp & grits entrees were perfect! A wonderful meal with great service!
As always, our food was great! Unfortunately, our server Mike was just ok. We had to ask for our bottle of champagne to be put in a bucket of ice, had to ask for refills on drinks and our unused wine glasses were never removed from the table. We love this restaurant and not only frequent here often, but recommend it regularly.
Food was excellent. Everything we had was delicious. Got right in with our reservations. Service was good.
It was a friends birthday. The complimentary desert was great !
We have been to Preserved many times for dinner and it has always been excellent but his was our first time for Sunday brunch and it did not disappoint.
We enjoyed a great brunch in the veranda! We got to see the the redone lower patio which now has SHADE and heat lamps for all! Great improvement. Thank you Sarah!!
Excellent food and service!
LOVE Preserved! We try to plan extra trips to St. Augustine (from 3 1/2 hours away) so we can eat there more often. Seriously. It's amazing.
Surprised no cocktail bar. Wine and beer only. Very good dinner.
This was definitely an outstanding restaurant. Food and service were both impeccable but it is on the pricey side!
The Antebellum grits are TO DIE for and save room for dessert, the creme brûlée was wonderful - not too sweet with the perfect crust. Indoor dining room is cozy and elegant.
We had a group of six and loved our covered porch seating. There is a nice courtyard outside for a pre-dinner cocktail or dinner that still felt cozy or semi-private. The wine list had something for every taste and budget. The steak tartare was delicius and plenty to share. My duck breast and greens were sadly both very over-salted, but everyone else loved their meal. We will return to try other options.
Food was excellent. Celebrating my 70th birthday and they recognized that very well. Thanks
2nd dinner there. Was fantastic!
The host was welcoming and very friendly, our waitress, Dianne, wasn’t friendly or attentive. I had to send my dinner back three times as my meat was undercooked. My husband has to wave down another waitress as it seemed ours was specifically avoiding our table. She never came around to refill our drinks, or ask us if we wanted more bread. It was very disappointing as it was our wedding day and had hoped for better service.
The Preserved Restaurant has been consistently on point with their food, never disappointing. The service by Pam was outstanding.
We love this restaurant.
We actually enjoy the outdoor areas more than the indoor, especially the garden area.
We thought we might be cold on new years eve, but preserved had these wonderful heaters over the table, which kept us toasty.
The food was wonderful, we like to share dishes, and they accommodated as beautifully.
Brunch is also a wonderful treat at Preserved.
Our server fulfilled all of our expectations we have for fine dining. Attentive, yet never hovering or trying to develop a relationship. I did notice that the couple next to us didn’t have the same experience. She dropped half her quiche on the floor beside her seat in the walkway. She had to clean it up herself. She told the girl who refilled her water glass and was told not to worry about it. The server just let globs of quiche stay on the porch floor. I, personally, think the guest was embarrassed and wanted help cleaning it up.
We, on the other hand, had a perfect experience. The fried chicken was the best I’ve had there so far! My dry sparkling rose was wonderful. I thought the banana scone was dry and tough, but the raspberry/sage preserve was divine! We’ll be back soon, we hope!!
A great experience as usual. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a uniques venue with an excellent staff and food.
Amazing food, service & ambience. Look forward to visiting again! Highly recommend!
Great! Service was impeccable
