Another fantastic dinner! Charcuterie board for 4, plus cheeses, oysters to die for. Those with a fantastic white wine. Dinner - two of us went with scallops, one went for trout and one for steak frites - we were all in heaven. Nothing but perfection the entire night and wow what service!!! Preserved is still my absolute go to for a great night with dear friends. Its always perfection.

Best food we’ve had in St. Augustine by far!!! We live in Jax and always enjoy walking around the historic district since its only a short drive away, but the restaurant options are awful. We underestimated the crowds this past weekend for Nights of Lights and everything was full downtown. I’m so glad I looked on open table because we found this gem. The pork chop was AMAZING and the short ribs were great. Everything was flavorful and the menu has a really nice variety. Do yourself a favor and make the walk (or short drive...they have plenty of parking).

Great choice for a sophisticated take on local cuisine in St. Augustine. Nice wine list. I had the local fish (flounder) with rice midlins, crawfish etoufee and pickled okra. One small critique -- it could have used more okra, which was delicious!

The staff was very friendly and professional and the orders arrived quickly and attractively plated. The wine list was extensive and contained some very good selections of wine but overall the listing was in a higher range of pricing. The appetizers and dinners were creative and full of flavors but the portion sizes were small. Great atmosphere.

The service was good in the beginning and staff appeared knowledgeable. We had difficulty getting someone to come back after dinner was served. The oyster app was very good. The steak and frites were also very good. Unfortunately, the duck (which I love) was cooked poorly - some medium rare as recommended by the chef and some of it was very raw and so sinewy it was uneatable. The spices on the duck were weak and the au jus ok.
Disappointing because we have been there several times and it was always very good.

Wonderfully renovated, old neighborhood home located in Lincolnville with onsite parking and easy access. Ate inside on a cool evening but porch and garden seating was available (would have been a nice choice on a warmer evening).

Service was excellent and provided by an obviously well trained, young staff. Liquor service was beer and wine only, but the wine list was quite extensive, and we had no trouble finding a "new" selection to explore.

In our group of four, three different main dishes were selected and all found their choices & preparations to be unique and tasty (choices included: duck, steak and trout). If you still have room for dessert, we would definitely suggest you try the brown butter cake.

Lastly, I believe that all agreed that The Preserved was something "special" and would be "most" appropriate for that special occasion or person. PS: The menu's are apparently seasonal and ours was identified as "winter", and we will be back to try "spring".

This establishment appears to be a large Blur house located in a residential area. Could not see any sign identifying it but were referred by member of staff from the Collector Inn .
We shared the charcuterie which was excellent!!! Plus scallops & cauliflower and steak & chips for mains. Extensive wine list. No desert but sure sounded good!
A really fine meal with professional attentive staff!

Discovered Preserved on this visit to St. Augustine; a great find. Our server was very attentive and described several of the dishes on the excellent menu; tough choices. Escargot served in the shell was wonderful as was the grilled trout with almonds with fingerling green beans that my wife enjoyed. I had their fantastic bouillabaisse of shrimp, mussels, scallops and fish. We saved just enough room for sharing a trio of sorbets for dessert. Have already recommended to friends.

Chose Preserved for my wife’s 50th Birthday. We had a little longer wait than expected for having a reservation, but the wait staff and management more than made up for it with their courteous service and keen attention. Everyone loved their dishes (short ribs, smoked chicken, trout, flounder) - all were excellent. The charcuterie plate, however, may have been the best thing we had all night. Desserts, especially the brown butter apple desert, were an excellent close for the evening. Wonderful experience and worthy of the special event.

Very good quality food. Wonderful experience. However we did believe it was a bit overpriced especially the wine. Cheapest bottle we saw was $46 and of course it’s a $12 bottle of wine at the local store but very cool setting being in a historic house. Good place for a special occasion but next time we will drink before then just have food there.

Amazing atmosphere in an old home. No liquor license but loved the Buttonwood Merlot. Food was good but could use some pizazz. Ambitious with what they were cooking, but certain parts were incomplete. I will definitely try this restaurant again. I hope they incorporate a liquor bar someday. Definitely worth a try.

This was the first time I went there on a Sunday for lunch. I ordered the eggs Benedict and was very disappointed. The sauce was totally bland and had no flavor at all and my eggs were cold. The potatoes that came with it were drastically undercooked and hard. They also had no flavor... The biscuits were so small and no height to them. They cut them half hoping you don't notice. They almost tasted like the canned ones you buy in the store. So for the price we paid, so sorry but not worth it at all... We won't be going back there.

A great restaurant in St Augustine if you want to connect to something more intimate and culturally aligned to this beautiful old town. St Augustine reminds me a lot of Toledo Spain, kind of like an unrealistic Disneyesque venue to appease experience hungry tourists looking for a weekend vacation. Preserved is the opposite of that tendency, located on an “off the beaten path” street in and old Florida neighborhood, with a simple but complete menu that offers something for everyone. Great service, great food, well executed restaurant, hoping to see this place develop through 2019 so I have a reason to come back later this year. Much success to all collaborators and contributors at Preserved!!!
