My friend from Boston and her cousin from Seattle came to stay with me. They both said it was the best food in their trip.
Prasino’s has consistently great food and service. The sushi is our favorite!! Soooo good! The noise level is “loud”, but after 8:30 , it dies down. This is a go-to , wonderful night out!
Took my wife and 3 daughters to celebrate our 25th anniversary at our fave place - with our fave waitress Megan! Great time and love being there!
Food is always fantastic but it can get very loud so acoustics is not great.
Food was great. Service was very good but the overall noise level restricted conversation across the table
This a great place to find healthy tasty foods.
Didn’t start great-extremely noisy for upscale restaurant and waited about 4 minutes to be greeted by server. Food was fantastic across the board and the service, once it started, was good. Wine list is good, but a little pricey. Overall a good experience, but could be improved with some sound deadening technology and a bit more organization between hostess and servers.
I have always enjoyed my dining experience at Prasino. The staff is very responsive and just overall friendly and personable. My friend and I were there to celebrate his well deserved promotion and it is one of his favorite spots to dine as well. The menu appeared to provide more seafood options than previously, which was a big plus for me. I will always continue to dine at Prasino.
Waitress was excellent and professional. Menue could have been the same at Applebee's. Food was pricey. Our food was down to room temperature when it was finally servered. Two of the people I dined with got food poisening.
Service was superb, some dishes were superb, some were a little bland and can use a pop of flavor. All in all, nice vibe and pleasant experience.
Plain food with way to much greezzzy sauce
Not a fan of the bar, won’t sit in there again.
We always love coming to Prasino’s. Food and drinks are always fantastic!
Wonderful dining experience. The food and Service were top notch. Hop to stop by again next time we are in town.
Sad to say that this is the third time I've tried them and the food is never been up to the menus description. I find the quality of the meat they use to be very poor. That's strike three for me...there are plenty of other choices out there. If you go, beware!
From start to finish, the staff was very attentive. My mother-in-law had wanted an olde-fashioned cocktail and they made it spot on. The quality of the food was also outstanding.
Joshua was our server, he was awesome! Food was delicious and all special requests were completely with out us having to send dishes back. Coffee and drinks were always filled,. We can not go wrong at Prasino it’s our favorite restaurant.
The food was awesome and the service was good overall. I originally ordered the Salmon special with a caveat the I don’t like fishy fish. It can out and before it made it to the table I could smell it. I sent it back in exchange for some scallops. The scallops were excellent. I I’ve Prasino and will be returning soon!!!
The halibut was fantastic and I recommend the Detox Cucumber drink.
Have been there many times and never disappointed in the food.
It was EXTREMELY noisy, very difficult to carry on conversation. This was in the dining room and I heard the bar area was noisier. I also dislike the fact that happy hour prices are only in the bar area
Our food was excellent. Each course, from appetizers to salad, to entre, was well
prepared (to order) and beautifully presented. Our wine sommelier was extremely
knowledgable and suggested a beautiful bottle of Meritaggio to accompany our meal.
The overall restaurant vibe is contemporary, bright and fun.
Great food and service. Corkerage fee for st Louis area a little high. Most charge $15 this was $20
My fiance and I are both vegans. They have incredible seitan dishes and have at least one meal for breakfast and lunch/dinner for vegans. The food was delicious and the server was attentive and friendly.
I heard good things about Prasino from friends and wanted to give it a try. I expected it to be a lot busier for a Saturday night. Made a 7:30 reservation around 4 in the afternoon and there were plenty of empty tables when we arrived. We had what I'll call a light dinner because we didn't get appetizers, drinks or dessert. My friend had the horseradish burger and said it was really good. The roasted chevre potatoes were good but not quite the hype the server gave them. I had the salmon over asparagus and sauteed vegetables and it was very good. We were plenty full and decided to go for a walk around the plaza in lieu of dessert. I will add that the molten chocolate cake was going to a few tables near us and looked really yummy. All in all, we enjoyed Prasino. The menu offers nice alternatives to the usual bistro flavorings. The prices were a bit higher for the area which may be why there were so many empty tables on a Saturday night. I'd go back but I'm not in any hurry to do so. There are lots of other great restaurants I'd like to try first.
Good food and great service. Strawberry mimosas are a must.
We met for breakfast and my friend, from Louisiana, couldn’t believe the size of her berry pancake entree. My Paris Benedict was delicious, as always. We lingered after eating without feeling rushed.
I met a friend for dinner at Prasino on a Friday at 7pm. I was disappointed to find the outdoor seating area closed due to construction. Without the option of sidewalk seating, we headed to the hostess counter and were promptly greeted by three employees. After initially being told they couldn't find my reservation, I showed the hostess my Open Table confirmation. Once she verified the number in her computer we were seated surprisingly quick.
We sat at a two-top on the side of the large dining area. My seat was a long, cushioned bench style seat that ran along the length of the dining room wall while my friend sat directly across from me in a single chair. While we weren't necessarily crowded, we were in very close proximity to the people sitting on either side of us. At several points during our meal I noticed the women at the table next to us eavesdropping on our conversation. The seating was OK.
After all, it was Friday night and the restaurant was completely full.
As we reached our table we were greeted by our waitress who rapidly fired off her name and someone else's name that was going to be helping her. After a brief conversation about drinks she disappeared in search of a wine list. We waited some time for her to reappear.
On her return she asked my friend if she had gotten her wine-which hadn't been ordered yet.
We ordered the wine, the appetizer, and our entrees to follow as the waitress disappeared again only to shortly re-appear with the wine.
Having previewed the online menu I knew what I was going to order. However, the menu had changed and the one on the website wasn't current. As a starter, we chose the Woodfire Grilled Chicken Wings; Over-charred with a sauce on the side that didn't seem to fit with the actual wings. These were disappointing. My friend chose the salmon entree and I the Pappardelle, which to my surprise was served over pasta. We both found our entrees delicious.
We followed dinner with a cappuccino.
Love this place! Food is always delicious. Service was fantastic. Most places sides are just stuff that fill a plate and are ok - you are likely to concentrate on the entree. Here the sides are just as wonderful as the main events! I took home every morsel I couldn't finish and looked forward to eating my leftovers! I had vegetarians in our group this time and they were pleasantly surprised by the variety of options as well as how scrumptious their choices were.
Every time that I have come to Prasino, the service has always been great!!! Crystal always has a big smile and can’t do enough for you!!! Andy too makes you feel as if you’re his only table!!! Always knowledgeable about what’s on the menu and willing to make suggestions if you can’t make up your mind!!! The proud hot Mary is pretty tasty too!!! Love this place!!!
I like Prasinos been coming here for a long time. Service was very different. I felt like It was sit down order and then 10 different people check in you. Not as friendly as I have experienced in the past. Lobster avocado roll didn’t taste as good as it usually does. Prasino burger good truffle potatoes excellent as always.
I made the reservation through Open Table, but when I got to the restaurant they said they’d already filled up their dining room and so we would have to sit in the happy hour area. It was very noisy and the service was slow due to the nature of happy hour being open seating. If they couldn’t accommodate reservations for the time that I made, why would they have it as an option?
We had a birthday celebration there in November and some family members was back in town and wanted to go back for dinner. The food is wonderful.
Prasino never disappoints! They go out of their way to make you feel appreciated. They actually try to impress you, and I appreciate it. The food is phenomenal. I can't go without adding a side of truffled potatoes.
My family ate at Prasino for Father's Day brunch. The service was great and they had a great selection of choices, including menu items for kiddos. We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back.
Such a great place for brunch!!! We are hardwired to drive east for good food, but I’d heard that Prasino was amazing and had been meaning to try it. Finally made a reservation for fathers day brunch. It was PERFECT. Banana bread French toast, crab cake eggs Benedict and strawberry/banana crepes. All were A+. We will absolutely go back soon.
Food and service were great. Extremely noisy as it was difficult to carry on a conversation with the people sitting across the table.
Celebrating my birthday here was the best decision ever! We had a party of eight and everyone very much enjoyed their food and the ambiance. The menu is diverse and has something for every palate. All dishes have robust flavors which my husband and I enjoy. The sushi is divine! Other stand out dishes: pork steak, short rib tacos, halibut, and shaved steak sandwich. Our waiter was very efficient and informed. I have been to Prasinos several times before and have yet to be disappointed. We live 45 minutes away and agree that it is always worth the drive.
Always a great experience, a wide variety of menu choices, friendly and professional staff.
Amazing as always. They always go above and beyond to make your occasion feel special
