Overall, this is a GREAT Restaraunt!
I would return to, or recommend this place to anyone. It really is good. We got sub standard service from a middle aged guy who was clearly struggling to keep pace with the busy evening. My entrée wasn't good. It was a St. Patrick's Day Special. I think I may have just got a single bad plate. The Manager comp'd what I thought was the bad plate so I have no hard feelings. To be fair, it was Saturday night and St. Patrick's Day.

It took at least 10 minutes for our server to acknowledge us and take our drinks order (iced tea, white wine, water with lemon). Eventually, the Maître de noticed us and asked if we needed drinks and brought us water - Very Poor initial service
It took at least another 10 minutes (20-25 total by now) to get our drinks. Server forgot the lemon. another 10 minutes later, we got the lemon - Poor Service Overall.
We ordered the Dragon Shrimp sushi ($20) - OUTSTANDING!!!
Flat Bread Pizza - Excellent (under $20)
Corned Prime Rib (medium) ($38) - Very Poor, I don't know what happened here.
When the corned prime rib arrived, it was charred black on about 1/3 of the surface. It was in a bbq sauce type glaze with undercooked and unseasoned new potatoes and soda bread. The meat looked like an overcooked pork steak. The meat tasted like an overcooked porksteak. It was tough, overcooked, and had nothing in common to Prime Rib. After finding all the rest of the food excellent, I was really disappointed with the corned prime rib..
Great sushi and craft cocktails!
We had a special dinner with friends visiting from Dallas and Chicago and we wanted to take them to one of our favorite restaurants.
We were treated like special guests by Brian the manager and Megan our waitress. Everyone enjoyed their meals very much. Everything arrived very hot, from appetizers provided by Brian to the main courses.
Megan provided great service explaining the specials for the evening as well other menu items and stopped by often checking up on our table.
Prasino also has an extensive wine menu with a very good variety of reds and whites of which Brian is an expert in assisting in finding a perfect wind to pair with a meal or just having alone.
I highly recommend having a meal at Prasino as a couple or a group in the restaurant or even at the bar. The bartenders are also very friendly and make a great drink.
We has relatives in from Dallas and a 12 year old birthday. She got to go into the kitchen and make her own dessert with Executive Pastry Chef Andrew Hoormann. What an awesome experience for her since she is interested in culinary school. #prasino
food was delicious but the service this time was poor.
It was wonderful! The food was great and the service was even better. I ordered a side that I didn’t care for, and didn’t eat all of. The waiter noticed and took it off our bill. Great place! I will definitely return.
Out for a night celebrating our wedding anniversary. Andy and Brian did a great job with a sample of a private barrel whiskey they have and a a fantastic sorbet desert. Service was exceptional and the food was fantastic.

Food was good even though we had to leave as soon as it hit the table due to an emergency. But before that, the server was great. He didn't have much knowledge about the vegetarian food options, but he was very attentive to our needs. This was great for a date.
Prasino went above and beyond to make my moms birthday special. The drinks were great and the sushi was amazing!

Good service A little pricey
The chef was great! I go to this restaurant for the specials. The day I went they didn’t have it, but thought it was awesome that the chef whipped up something tasty and enjoyable that was pretty close to the mark. My server was wonderful, drinks were amazing, and I love how we get requested booth every time!

We love Has and Megan. They are wonderful waiter/tress and great people to know. Sometimes we dine just to visit and chat with them. They offer great service with their friendly and positive attitudes.

The food is delicious and the service was great! The wine list is also pretty extensive ! Love the trendy yet upscale atmosphere! Loved the cauliflower au gratin! My husband had the steak and loved the sauce especially, I had the salmon and it was perfectly cooked, juicy and well seasoned, and the chocolate cake was the best, gooey and warm!Yummmmm

For the past couple of years, Prasino was our destination restaurant for lunch after landing at STL and driving west. Our recent visit, however, could be our last. The facilities are very nice and all the staff members are terrific. But the food quality and lack of value is astounding.
Stay away from the Sushi. Why anyone would order Sushi in an Italian restaurant is beyond me, but it happened.
Oh, and forget the hamburger, if you want flavor. What are the potatoes with a glop of truffle aioli and clumpy parmesan? It sounds good on the menu, but the delivery is just like it sounds -- some roasted potatoes with white sauce on top. It's not worth the calories.
If I do go back, I'll stick with the breakfast/brunch menu or make sure it was happy hour. The coffee was very smooth and tasty, with regular re-fills along the way. The mixed-green salad was the best part of our lunch this past week.

I took my girlfriend to Prasino for Valentines Day dinner. The atmosphere was wonderful, cocktail menu was above average and the wine list was extensive. The steak was well made and the lobster risotto was delicious. Would recommend for special occasions.

Service was excellent. Food wa amazing. Wife had dragon roll and i had the special grilled trout. Perfect. Wife also had amaretto sour, and she is picky about them, but said it was delicious. Definitely one of our fave places now
We really enjoyed our dinner on Friday night. I ordered a small salad with my meal and it was honestly the best, freshest salad I had ever eaten. The service was fantastic and our food came out in a timely manner. I really wanted to give this place five stars, however my food came out room temp/ slightly tepid and my two year-old's pasta came out pipping hot. Additionally, the 'mac and cheese' we ordered her was a rigatoni noodle with a very unappetizing white cheese sauce. We ended up taking the entire dish home and none of us could eat it. I was pretty dissapointed. Along with my food being cold, my potato wedges were underdone. There was actually an uncooked potato crunch to them. Javing said that, our waitress brought out a second order almost immediately and they were delicious. We will definately be back as it was Valentine's weekend and the issues in the kitchen were reasonable considering the volume of customers they were serving. I hope they reevalute thier mac and cheese recipie or figure out what may have gone awry.
Everything was wonderful. We had a drink at the bar and then a reservation in the dining room. Our waitress was great and the food was delicious. We got scallops and short ribs, both were perfect.
The wait staff and food are consistently great. The menu offers a vast variety to choose from no matter who's in your party. Everyone can find something they like.

We we're treated well to begin with, but when staff found out that it was our anniversary we were even congratulated by the manager. We felt like they were going out of their way for us. Made it an even better night.
