Had a great meal, the server was training another server, so hopefully he was always as helpful. Helped us pick wine and my friend choose something that fit her health needs. He checked with us but seemed to understand that we hadn't seen each other for quite a while and were catching up on things. We sat there from 5:30 until 9:00 p.m. and no one tried to rush us. Very pleased with the service and the meal.
Ordered a dish from the menu and was told by our waiter that the price was actually higher than what was listed on the menu. After some back and forth with the waiter, the manager came over to our table and told us that the price of the item had increased. When we asked why none of the menus reflected the new price--the waiter informed us that he was unable to "just print up new menus" . We informed him that the fair way to treat customers is to charge the price on the menu until new ones were printed up. After another back and forth discussion, the manager reluctantly agreed to charge the price that was listed on the menu. The way in which the manager chose to handle this ruined our dining experience.
Chicken sandwich was cold. The hot seasonal vegetables were inedible. Ice tea was good.
I have been to Prasino twice now and they were excellent both times. The dishes are imaginative and perfectly prepared. The short rib skillet is amazing and the coconut bread French toast is a treat. The only possible down sides are the noise level (they do a very good business) and the parking is bad (not their fault). I have recommended Prasino to my friends and am looking forward to my next visit.
Everything was great except for our server. The food came quickly, but our server was unfriendly.
I love the place and the food, but when it gets busy, it is louder than I like. Make me sound old, but it is pretty loud!
Great place for a date night! The food was absolutely amazing. I had the Hanger Steak meal and my BF had the Rib Eye steak. Both of us were very impressed with the style and architecture of the restaurant as well. All in all it was a perfect night! Thanks!
Short sushi menu, must try as it is delicious! Nice menu, something for all.
A great place to visit with friends over a delicious meal and a great bottle of wine. Staff was very attentive but not hounding! If you are in this area, you need to check Prasino out!
Since my first visit I have never been disappointed with anything. Cannot say that about many restaurants.....
This place is great. Great food and atmosphere. Never had a bad meal. Price is good too.
Prasino’s is my favorite place to dine. The decor and the service is the best. The menu could have some changes to it but everything is delicious.
The food is always fresh tasting and delicious. The wait staff is curtious, and efficient.
Nice find. Lots of local beers and other locally sourced items. Excellent food.
Went with business partners; good food and very good service. Great tuna and spicy buffalo shrimp appetizers. Fish (halibut) entree was very good / unique.
Service was great as well as the food. Will definitely be going back.
The noise level was so loud we had to shout. The tuna appetizer and Stl pork steak were good
The overall food was not worth the price.
The menu has a lot of variety. Our table had the braised short ribs and 3 different sushi rolls. All were good. The moscow mule cocktail was also good. The only downside is the noise. It is one big open room with a high ceiling and nothing to dampen the sound. It makes it difficult to have a discussion with your table mates, so for that reason only, I am not sure if we would go again.
Had a 7 pm reservation. Server came by first time at 7:20. Ordered drinks. Cocktail had a piece of something in ice. Replaced. Ordered appetizer and came back they were out of that. Went to order dinner and ordered sushi. Was told no sushi tonight. Was Birthday dinner and was a horiable experience.
Service was prompt, friendly, efficient, and attentive. Handled my food allergies professionally and with sincere concern, Thank YOU, Chelsea! When we told them it was my husband's birthday, (waitress asked upon seeing a card on the table) they low-key provided him a yummy cookie & ice cream dessert, gratis. No singing or anything, yay! Hangar steak is my fave. Hubby loves the lamb sandwich. My parents both liked the St. Louis BBQ pork steak. Overall, a great evening, great food, excellent experience. Not our first at Prasino, and definitely won't be our last.
As always, food and cocktails were great but service was very slow without apology.
I have been to Prasino before and always enjoyed it. This time was a mixture of hits and misses. One of our party of 5 was very disappointed in his lobster ravioli (said almost no lobster). I enjoyed my hanger steak but not the sweet sauce. Evrything else, including dessert, was good. Our server was excellent. Not writing Prasinos off, just a so so night.
Enjoyed a wonderful omelette and the server Josh was great. Will definitely come back.
Over hype, under deliver . Pedestrian food trying to pass as fine dining. $95 meal should have been around $40
It always takes so long to get order in. Once you get it Brunch is really good.
The overall experience was reasonable. However, my mussels were good till we found a bad one at the bottom of the bowl - explanation was weak and I'm glad I wasn't ill as a result. Our coffee refills were cold and the server was somewhat conspicuous by his absence once we had ordered dessert. Restaurant was VERY noisy. I'd go back but not until later in the evening when it quietens down.
Great food. Excellent wine. Service was good, but not super attentive.
When we decided on a luncheon meeting our guest, a financial counselor, suggested "our favorite place." He had more than twice as far to drive as the 11 miles we traversed. Our meeting lasted 2.5 hours in a peaceful, quiet corner during a busy time, but our server, Andy was friendly and attentive. Of course we enjoyed delicious food--Greek salads and those huge, delicious lamb sirloin sandwiches for the men; for me, the roasted butternut squash salad with pumpernickel croutons, topped with salmon, slightly overcooked but nonetheless a great choice (in response to my question, Andy said I might try a portion of lamb as topping another time!)--and a good (but not great) bottle of wine that we chose from the Wednesday Wine Specials list. We'll be back, perhaps bringing our extended family, soon, for another round of Prasino's brunch, a perfect followup for a soccer game (win or lose) at SLYSA, because Prasino's is always a win! Thank you!
The food was great. The place was super busy and very noisy. That was probably the biggest drawback - the noise level was a bit intense.
The service was good. A little rough to keep track since there were two or three servers but a fun place with great food
Lots of fun for a big group. Super service, and exciting choices!
Lobster avocado was amazing! The Detox is one of my favorite drinks and never disappoints. Our kids love the ambiance and food too!
This was my first visit and I dined for dinner. I ordered the shaved steak, white cheadder and sweet onion on ciabatta bread and choose the roasted potatoes as a side ( included with meal). The steak was tender and tasty,on a lightly soft grilled bun. The roasted potatoes came lightly seasoned, but needed a shake of salt. Everything was served in something small and quaint... salt n pepper shaker, my coffee more like a cappuccino cup along with my water, served in a nice mini earth green glass, matching the water bottle. My waitress knew her menu and was quite pleasant, but this older waiter asked if my friend wanted their plate to be taken away ;but since she needed sugar for her tea and we weren't his table the demeanor changed;and that sugar was served quickly and hard. Overall, I enjoyed my food and the ambience and will definitely return.
Nick was a great waiter. Food was delicious, strawberry mimosas were to die for!
I really enjoyed my meal. Banana Pecan Pancakes they were huge and delicious! YUM
Food was excellent...our server Megan was absolutely wonderful. Will definitely dine at Prasino's in the future. Very impressed...
My salmon and my friends steak, were both over cooked. The waitress wasn’t attentive enough for us to make staff aware. Another server eventually passed by and i was able to get sweetener for my tea
awesome place...great vibe, architectural experience & attention to detail, lighting/light fixtures are really cool, superb service, creative menu with many gluten free options
We had a great time celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary. The food was amazing—as always. Thanks for another great date!
Good selection from a somewhat eclectic menu. Variety is good as is execution. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Will return to try several menu items that sounds interesting.
Food was superb as always. Only complaint was it took the server a long time to come to our table and we weren’t given drink menu right away.
