   What a wonderful experience. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I knew it would be a good experience. The staff was welcoming and so attentive. The food was delicious. I ordered the black squid ink noodles with mussels, clam, shrimp and scallops and it was perfectly prepared and cooked. Loved every bite and if I wasn’t in SF for the rest of the week I would go back. A gem!

   We had a great time at PRANZI. The food was great, especially the proteins. The service was very friendly and warm. We had a wonderful time celebrating a birthday at PRANZI.

   Pranzi consistently provides excellent service and amazingly freshly prepared entrees. We enjoyed shrimp ravioli and butternut tortellini both were perfectly prepared and highly recommended. Definitely we’ll return again

   Service was not attentive. We sent back two cocktails which were simple old fashions. The wine list was ok. The appetizer of the skillet prawns was good but not Italian in origin which left us hopeful for the main courses. Both were from the specials list and absolutely terrible! The braised short rib ravioli was in a weird not tasty mushroom gravy and the seasonal mushroom risotto was undercooked and had zero flavor- no amount of extra salt and Parmesan helped. I wanted to like but the menu is not classic Italian nor regional Italian or even really Italian at all which connects with the decor which was dark, modern and more Japanese in aesthetic. Won’t be likely to recommend or return.

   Service was very uneven. Kitchen was backed up. Sat with dirty salad/app dishes for 20-30 minutes.

   We sat outside, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious! We had the octopus' appetizer, beat salad and various main dishes and all were good. The chocolate mousse was divine. Great value for the money.

   Lovely and delicious dinner... excellent service and menu... ate in ourside area, which was heated well by the heaters and much quieter than inside, so higlhly recommend outside tables.
