Our group stopped by while visiting East Nashville, and had a really enjoyable experience. Some of the dishes we enjoyed were spinach salad (unexpectedly split into two plates on request), calamari (one of the best presentations I've enjoyed), buffalo cauliflower (perfectly cooked), wood fired pizza (tasted good, but needed a hotter oven and thinner crust to get that real wood fired taste), ravioli (lovely mushroom sauce), and spaghetti. Prices were very reasonable, and would certainly return.
Staff was exceptional. Very pleasant experience.
Not bad, but not that good either. Service was friendly, but inexperienced. Best thing we ate was the cheese and charcuterie board. Lemon drop martini was way off- seemed to be vodka and sour mix. The rest of the food was just ok, not good enough to justify the prices. I didn’t dislike it, but there are several better options nearby in the same price range.
Went to Pomodoro’s East 2 days in a row. 1st night made it in time for happy hour. Had some good drinks and a pepperoni flat bread all discounted also had two very good entrees, the bartender was our server as we sat in bar area.
Was in to for business and our group was looking for somewhere to go for dinner since we had an excellent experience the previous evening suggested to go here again. There were 10 this time. Appetizers entrees drinks and desserts. All came out in timely manner and was accurate. Server was excellent she took excellent care and made sure everyone was happy. Would go back if I was in Nashville.
Great food and service!!!
Great food and service!
We enjoyed every aspect of our experience at Pomodoro . The staff was very accommodating and the food was exceptional....
We will definitely go back!!!
We were there for NYE. The pasta dish was phenomenal, but the cheesecake was very disappointing.
Both prime ribs were served well done when they were ordered as rare/medium rare. My husband’s ravioli were cold. Second time there and a disappointment both times
Great menu and we had trouble deciding what to order. Everything we ordered was delicious. Our server was attentive and helpful with questions. Ambiance was hip but still cozy.
I enjoyed my chicken parmesan. My friend was not completely pleased with her mussels.
My bolognese came out luke warm. The Caesar salad was good but a little watery. We also thought that the wine pours were a little “light”.
Always fabulous. They are so sweet to our little girl 💗
Delicious food, excellent service and nice atmosphere. A great overall experience!
Neighborhood gem. Great for romantic evening. My boyfriend and I celebrated his birthday there and we had a very personalized experience
We came to this place after reading some reviews online and they were right on. Food was amazing. Bread was yummy. Delicious wine. Wonderful customer service. Definitely a neighborhood gem.
The food was pretty good. The service wasn’t great but it was all right. Overall we enjoyed our dinner. If I lived in East Nashville, I would return but I don’t feel that it was worth ubering there from Franklin. I was glad to try it once but we likely won’t return.
The foods always great at Pomodoro. It is a great to have such a nice restaurant in our neighborhood.
The food and service were exceptional. I’m always impressed and it keeps me coming back frequently.
Fantastic food from start to finish.
We had a large party of 12 on Saturday night and the staff at Pomodoro East could not have been more welcoming. We had a fantastic wait staff that was super attentive and understanding of our active 11 month old. The food was fantastic! Be sure to try the bolognas with crispy polenta! Everyone enjoyed their meal and we will definitely be back. Thank you for helping us celebrate our special occasion and making sure it was outstanding!
Always a wonderful experience. We brought out of town guests with us. We are all foodies and we weren’t disappointed.
Awesome place! We love the ambiance! The staff is great and food is fresh and great!! Highly recommend!
Delicious food. Great service. Have been twice and will definitely go again. The cheese & charcuterie plate is awesome and the Fig & Pig pizza is so good I can’t wait to have it again!
Not bad, just not great. We had a reservation for 2, and when they asked inside or outside (it was a bit chilly out) we requested inside. Only problem was they sat us by the patio door which was constantly open. The carpaccio was extremely salty, as was the sausage cheese stuffed ravioli. Which, might I add, came out as a to go order on the first attempt. We were clearly dining in. I don’t want to hate on a place, but I’d really been looking forward to coming here for a long time. Maybe it was just an off night or something. With so many other options in Nashville, I’m not sure we’ll be coming back. Bummer :/
A breath of fresh when you are staying at the Opryland hotel, worth the 15 min drive. Real neighborhood, good food and a warm
Had reservation and was seated quickly. waitress was new but was very attentive. Food was excellent, loved the chicken ricate!
Were looking for something other than barbecue. Italian fit the bill. Good food but unfortunately we sat outside (on a beautiful evening), music was ‘odd’ and depressing g. Wish we had sat inside, where the atmosphere was completely different and very lively
We were visiting from Louisiana and found this gem. We had the olive appetizer, pepperoni pizza and an Italian hamburger. It was all delicious. The atmosphere here is awesome. The service was great. Wish we lived in the area because it would become a favorite. We highly recommend this restaurant. Free parking too!!
The food was superb with shareable portion sizes! The customer service and ambiance was top notch! The outdoor patio is lovely and perfect at night time!
One of our favorite neighborhood spots. Food and drinks are consistently good. Service this visit was a bit hit and miss as we waited for a while before someone finally visited our table. After that, service picked up and all was well.
Unnecessary wait, hostess forgot about us, cold pasta, mediocre experience at best.
The food, ambiance, and value were great; however, the overall rating of "fair" is due to the server awarding herself a 30% plus tip by keeping ALL the change from my meal (I paid in cash) despite the fact that I asked for change AND sat at the table for over 15 minutes attempting to get my change back. I dined with two other guest who paid separately and each paid with credit cards. Our server collected all three checks and payments, but returned with only the two credit card receipts. She dropped them and ran and then avoided the table for literally 15 minutes as I attempted to flag her down for change. I finally had to leave to get to an appointment, but this incident left a sour taste in my mouth.
Service was poor. We were essentially ignored/unattended to for 30 minutes (when we were both ready to order drinks and food). Pretty disappointing visit overall.
I believe Hunter was our waitress. Impressive young lady. Well presented, articulate and engaging. Need more like her. We come regularly as we enjoy the food and atmosphere.
Not so enjoyable last evening. Sat on the patio and other couples had young children. Not well behaved. If I wanted to eat at Chuck E Cheese I would have done that.
Know that’s hard for you to control. Disappointing.
Our group of 12 had a fantastic time. The staff was excellent and the food was terrific.
Been here for happy hour as well as brunch- everything I’ve had was excellent and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Love their fries, had the Italian donuts and breakfast pizza. Lovely patio with sail shades and lights, beautiful spot to be when the weather is nice. All reasonably priced and large portions. Will be back here for sure! Also there is a parking lot which is huge...
