Couple in town for a meeting and they loved our suggestion
We were extremely satisfied with our experience here. The food was exceptional and the service was very good as well. We recommend the Pomegranate Martini and the hummus as a starter.
It was our first time eating Persian food and our server took the time to explain the dishes on the menu and we took his suggestions. The food was absolutely delicious, our cocktails were very good and we will definitely be back!
As always, a delicious meal at Pomegranate. Definitely one of our top two downtown restaurants in Greenville.
All the food was great and so tasty. They even served our dog a water bowl. Thank you such nice people
All good, food, service . Enjoyed it all.
The staff, food and atmosphere was outstanding. Our server was training a new server and she was wonderful as well.
Wonderful all around! Great service and the best Pomegranate/w chocolate chips ice cream - to die for!
Food, Service, Atmosphere…. Always consistent and always delicious
Dine outside if you can. Or when a large party of loud millennials are not dining. The restaurant does not have any sound control features and general conversations are amplified.
Food was great.
We were here with family who had never been to Pomegranate before. They were just thrilled with the whole experience. All of our meals were delicious and our server was informative and friendly. The ice cream(s) - (ok we ordered both) - for dessert were out of this world. We love this restaurant.
Delicious food and very quaint outdoor patio atmosphere. Our server, Hope, explained the entrees well, and how best to mix/eat them. The complimentary Persian Breakfast appetizer was unique and tastey. Delightful experience, highly recommend!
My husband and I went to Pomegranate on Main for a date night. We were a little disappointed that a table wasn’t available on the patio, but the inside dining area was lovely, even if the tables are a bit close. Our appetizer of hummus with bread, feta, mint, radishes, and unsalted butter was the perfect blend of flavors. I ordered the lamb medallions and my husband ordered the chicken and shrimp. Both came with basmati rice and a grilled tomato, which our server recommended we blend with the rice. She was right! The portions were generous and the presentation was lovely. A few pieces of my lamb were a little tough — overcooked — but overall it was a delicious dinner and we plan to return. Staff was friendly and attentive, and the Italian red wine I ordered with my dinner perfectly complemented the meal. Prices were fair for the quality and portions of food. Highly recommend!
We were celebrating our granddaughter heading off to Oxford University in England for graduate school.
We sat outside on the patio, which is a lovely space. The food was very good, and our waitress was very attentive.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with friends on the patio of Pomergranate on Main last evening. We started Pomergranate Mules (both gentlemen), Pinot Grigio (Slovenia; me) and a hot tea (other lady) and with a mix of appetizers: Mast Khiyar, Mast Mousir and Hummus. Our friends ordered the Lamb Shank (he) and Pomegranate Stew (beef, she), Roasted Salmon (my hubby) and I ordered the Shrimp Kabob. All appetizers and entrees were wonderful - such great flavor. We passed on dessert. An excellent restaurant and service.
Pomegranate on Main is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is amazing and the served is always exceptional! We are never disappointed.
Was 4 of us and a 3 year old - waitstaff was good and attentive and food is always good. It was a birthday event and staff made it special. Always like to go there.
Great experience. Sat at the bar and ate dinner there. Bartender was very attentive and friendly. Food was very good. Nice vibe. Would definitely go back.
This is my go to restaurant for special occasions and for out-of-state company that comes to visit us. I really love the atmosphere and I absolutely love the food. There is nothing I can say. The music was a little bit loud for the lunch crowd I thought but it is very nice Persian upbeat music. I wouldn’t change anything about my experience there every time I go
Pomegranate is always our go-to. Consistent and tasty. Love the pomegranate martinis!!!
Dined outside. Space was pleasant even though it was in the high 90’s.
Food was exceptional, as usual. We shared three starters and then had kababs and fesenjan for entrees!
Love the food here.
Quality, quantity, and speed of delivery is always on point.
The dining room has a lot of hard surfaces, which could make it hard to hear when there are many people in the dining room, however.
Excellent service with very tasty food. Noise level could be a problem if full house but we were there on Wednesday evening when half full. Will be back.
We went to celebrate our anniversary and they made it very special. Large portions (I carried half of mine home), service was top notch and the food was delicious. If you’re looking for something a little different with both indoor and outdoor seating and a great location, this is the place
Good was beautifully served and delicious. 1001 Nights Chocolate cake was very light in texture but rich in chocolate flavor, served with whipped cream and pomegranate seeds.
Overall, a beautiful and satisfying much experience at a reasonable price.
Great food, nice server. Good ambiance
Very friendly wait staff. Accommodated our request to sit outside when we realized the patio was completely enclosed (which makes it nice and cool but not COVID safe). Wine selection is good. Food tasty. My only complaint is beyond the restaurant’s control, which is how loud downtown Greenville is. It’s like an endless parade of monster trucks and Harley’s. Like being in the middle of a biker rally.
Hubby and I had a delicious dinner at Pomegranate last evening. Hubs started with the excellent Pomegranate Mule and I had a wonderful glass of Malbec. We both ordered the Roasted Salmon (Med. Rare) with Cranberry Rice (switched out) and ended dinner by splitting the fabulous Chocolate Cake. If you have not tried Pomegranate, you should. Excellent food and service.
We are visiting from out of town and I always like to try new and different food from what we have at home. This restaurant did not disappoint. From the appetizers through dessert, everything was delicious.
Our server was wonderful, attentive and efficient. Two negatives: It was such a noisy restaurant. My husband and I could not carry on a conversation across our small table because of the noise level. There is also no social distancing at all. We were crowded in by the window and surrounded by three other tables that were 2 feet from us.
Again, kudos for the food and service. It’s just too loud and too crowded for a quiet, calm dinner.
Such a good environment on the patio to sit and catch up with old friends. The food was excellent! Ben was our server and he did a fabulous job! I would recommend Pomegranate for any occasion!
Excellent service good food. Just go!
Great food and the Pomegranate Martini is awesome. Nice wine parings. Had lamb medallions. Very good and flavorful. Nice atmosphere, ate on patio. Friendly staff and good service. What's not to like?
Highly recommend for anyone enjoying an evening near the Peace Center and the Falls.
I love the food and the service was great. I wish they would have had a nutrition facts sheet for their menu items as I am on a strict diet and have to count how much fat, protein and carbs are in my food. Other than that, it was fabulous.
The beef and lamb were both tough. Not worth the price. We were disappointed.
So glad we found this gem. The food was amazing and the staff, especially Mike at the bar, gave wonderful service. We will return anytime we visit Greenville.
It was a wonderful restaurant to visit to celebrate 21 years of marriage with my beautiful wife. The food was incredible and we will definitely visit again.
Always a lovely experience at pomegranate. We sat in the amazing outdoor patio area that is completely beautiful and shaded. They have a retractable shade and when the manager noticed that one of the ladies in our group was getting sun on her he asked her if she wanted him to pull the shade back and took care of it for us right away. It’s lovely when you know that the south is looking out for your comfort and experience. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. Highly recommend!!!
Food and service were great! We will definitely be back.
Great service great food
