Pomegranate on Main
Always top notch. We would eat here every weekend or more if we could. Best food in Greenville!
Our home away from home! We absolutely love Pomegranate. Excellent service, clean healthy cuisine and lovely ambiance. The soups, appetizers, entrees and homemade desserts are the best. Difficult to call out just a few. Love them all. Thank you again, Zack, for the excellent service. Always nice to see a familiar face. And loved sitting out by the water wall....cozy on the inside even though it was raining on the outside. See you again soon.
Was visiting with a girlfriend. We are locals. It was pleasant
Weather and we sat outside. We ordered heavy apps and had wine while we listened to the live entertainment.
Had friends over from Spartanburg and wanted to share our favorite Greenville restaurant.
Excellent meal as always, and attentive service. We’ll be back!
Multiple staff members helped play a prank on my girlfriend. Above and beyond service. We had a great time.
Dinner was lovely. Had an invitation to meet for dinner. It was moderately busy for a Wednesday night and having a reservation is always a good idea. Plan to try for lunch in future.
Food was phenomenal as usual. Persian cuisine at its best. Noise level was higher than normal. Not sure why as nothing special was going on that night downtown. Always a great meal, great cocktails and decent wines.
Great food and service. The staff will take the time to explain the menu items if you are not familiar with the cuisine. Always a good meal!
Great place. We enjoyed our dinner and the friendly service. Be sure to try the pomegranate martini!
We prefer a table that is a half booth... for as often as we dine at Pomegranate.
Our group was seated right on time; service was attentive and prompt; food was great! I decided to go with the lamb medallions, lamb being something I don't eat frequently, but when in Rome...They were delicious, as was everyone else's meal.
Great lunch before a matinee at the Peace Center. Roast salmon on Med salad could not have been better.
The salad and hummus were good, but I really didn't care for the chedah wrap. I think more options on the lunch menu would help since I would have liked some lamb
Deliciously spiced dishes, warm & gracious service, a great place to take friends after a gallery opening. Pomegranate walnut dish and fragrant basmati was outstanding. We will return often to try more dishes. Thank you!
Delicious Persian dishes, served by knowledgeable and friendly staff, in a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere.
Amazing food with a fabulous ambiance. The appetizers are excellent. Waiter gave us good advice about how to combine the foods. I’m ready to go back today. I would try the stews if you haven’t been there. Ymmmm
We had a family gathering and needed a large, quiet restaurant with room for children to be children without bothering other quests. We were seated in the patio area and although it was cold and rainy outside, the patio had heat so it was perfect. The restaurant turned the music down so we could hear one another. We were a party of 10 adults and 4 children- everyone enjoyed their meals. Although there is not a child’s menu, the children enjoyed the chicken kabob and plain rice. Service was excellent!
The food was superb and our server was very attentive and professional. However, the host who "greeted" us (if one can call it that) acted as though we were an inconvenience, as though he was bothered to have to walk us to our table, to which he only pointed and didn't actually walk to all the way. Simply put, he was rude and unprofessional. Our overall initial impression was one of, "What have we gotten ourselves into with this reservation?" Again, the rest of our experience was exemplary, but Pomegranate's owner/management should pay closer attention to whom they leave as first customer contact, representing their establishment. A simple smile and a professional attitude go a long way.
I was hoping for something better but service and food were terrible. We didn’t receive our food for an hour and then they served me the wrong entree. She just said she put the order in wrong. And just said “Sorry.” The funny thing is there was no comp for my incorrect food. They Charged me for the entree I never received. Terrible customer service. I have owned businesses and they need to up their game with customer service. Sorry we won’t be back.
I love this restaurant! EVERY experience is wonderful... everyone I bring there loves it!!!
Food was excellent, service was great and entertainment was wonderful.
Good food and nice ambience just ask not to be seated next to the door.
Outstanding as always!!! Never disappointed.
Tasty food, pleasant and knowledgable server, ability to carry on a conversation. Will certainly return.
We have been there a number of times and have always enjoyed it very much. My wife especially likes Pomegranate very, very much. She loves it. It's right around the corner from where we live at 155 RiverPlace. We had an excellent waitress, Marcellus (?spelling). She was a delight. Happy Holidays.
We will be back.
Persian food at it's finest! Bademjan Stew with Chicken is outstanding. Chicken is melt-in-your-mouth tender and the stew spices are perfect middle eastern. Parking can be a challenge, so arrive early and circle the blocks to find street parking which is no cost.
Good food, great service, nice for larger group, will return.
Night before Thanksgiving.
It’s our Favorite Restaurant in Greenville!
Great experience with fantastic service.
We are regular customers. When I received the email about the 12th anniversary specials, I wanted to come and enjoy a meal since we had not been there in several months. I was very disappointed in the "special" as the beef was tough and had an odd taste. One would think that the quality of a "special" might be as good as the regular items which would encourage one to return! But my impression was that the quality was much less. The appetizers were good but the flat bread (I think they used to serve pita) was cut in odd tiny pieces. The citrus salad dressing did not taste fresh, my impression was that the orange juice used was old, canned or both. So, yes, I would recommend that a friend go but then I would hope that Pomegranate is having a good night. As you can tell, I am a foodie. I am an excellent cook and when I treat myself to a meal in a restaurant I have high expectations. Beef tenderloin with plain white rice and a grilled to almost black tomato is not a difficult meal to prepare.
We love Pomegranate!
Not the best trip I have had there, but still very good. Lunch is still the best value here and the wraps are not on dinner menu
Repeat diners at this establishment. For some reason, on this particular evening, the food (salmon) was very bland and overcooked.
The Persian dinner for two is our favorite. Sitting on the covered outdoor patio next the wall of water is fun and romantic. The food is really fresh.
Wonderful, as always. Complex, delicious flavors and perfectly prepared. A lovely way to spend the evening.
I’ve had dinner here several times since moving to Greenville. Always a good experience. A different kind of restuarant that always delivers a good experience. The menu is a definite change from traditional cuisine, but you will not be disappointed.
Pomegranate is consistently one of our favorite spots. The food, service, and ambience are always outstanding.
