Always a great meal
Great canopied and heated outside seating. Great Persian food.
Delicious and great service
Food is great, and as a kid who grew up on mom's Persian cooking I can say it is very authentic.
Was in Greenville all week on vacation/trip to talk to builder about our retirement house north of town.
Ate at several really fine places, but POMEGRANATE was the best in class during this visit. Love most ethnic food and these folks didn't disappoint with sumptuous Persian dinner for two, including excellent salad course, rice dish, and a 3-meat set of kabobs for our entree.
Service was attentive without being overbearing, which is our preference.
Looking forward to becoming a 'regular' when we move to Greenville area awhile further down the line.
Being close to everything in Greenville's renovated downtown is a huge plus, as well.
For some extra flair in your dining in Greenville, I'd definitely recommend Pomegranate to anyone seeking an enjoyable and unique dining experience......
Great food, great service, very nice ambiance. Will definitely come here again!
Tasty food, excellent service, quiet, servers wore masks, socially distanced tables.
The food was great along with the service! One of my favorite restaurants in town!
I've eaten a good share of authentic persian cuisine and this place was decent. We all had kabob.
Our only disappointment was that they ran out of the koobideh only 40 minutes after openning, which prevented us from ordering from about 1/3 of the menu.
Wonderful meal and excellent service.
Lunch on Saturday was great
Great dinner with family.
Healthful, quality food excellently prepared and served in a delightful atmosphere. I have been dining at Pomegranate for more than a decade, and it remains excellent as always. The opportunity to experience a slice of Persian culture is a bonus on top of a pleasurable evening out.
Fabulous place for lunch. Enjoyed the view, the staff and especially the food. We are looking forward to our next visit.
Great hummus and martini.
We have always loved going to Pomegrante on Main, but this visit didn't live up to par. The drinks are always good, but the bar service was very slow. Never a good thing.. . We ordered their hummus and it was delish, as usual. My husband got the salmon kabob and an herb rice, not sure what kind it was, but both were dry and the salmon was VERY fishy. He only ate about 1/3 of his meal and shared my chicken kabob with rice and cranberries which was very good! We appreciate that the restaurant social distanced and all of the employees wore masks which made us very comfortable.
Pomegranate is our favorite dining spot in Greenville and we return there regularly. It's the first restaurant we book when our daughter returns from her studies in St. Andrews, and the last one we book before she has to return. Keep up the great work!
Great food and nice location! Would go there again.
It was a little cold out on the patio and they didn't ask us about closing the roof and sides until we were almost finished with our meal. Once they closed them the temperature improved greatly. Service was excellent and food was delicious. Will definitely be back.
Nice service and good food
Great food and service! So reasonably priced
My wife and I were there for the first time. It was an anniversary celebration.
The service was uncommonly slow. My entrée was slightly above average; hers was disappointing.
I doubt we'll return.
Pomegranate on Main never fails to impress. One of our favorite restaurants in the area, and we eat out often. They are very much aware of safety for everyone during this current crisis. Hats off to the owners and staff!
Great food and good service at a reasonable price.
Food was really good. They didn’t do anything for our 3rd anniversary. I noted it down on the reservation.
Lovely restaurant: food was fantastic and the service friendly and courteous. It was simply perfect. Gluten free options as well. Our favorite restaurant in Greenville sc.
The food was so delicious!
We love Pomegranate. Delicious, fresh food and good cocktails. We were able to eat outside and watch the people go by.
Such a great place to eat! We loved the experience and food we had, it was amazing!
Great flavors of the Middle East. Mint, walnuts, and pomegranate dance together to make a perfect ballet of flavor in some of the main course dishes prepared here. Coconut cream pie was light and flavorful, and pistachio ice cream is not for the faint of heart; packed with flavor and sweet nuttiness a true “must” for the avid connoisseurs.
Service was excellent. Outdoor seating on a beautiful evening
Great experience. I salivate just thinking about it!
We sat on the beautiful patio which was covered so we were protected from the rain. Our waitperson was very attentive to our needs, but did not hover, and was kind enough to let us linger long after the meal. Each of us ordered something different to eat and we all enjoyed them immensely. This is a perfect place for lunch and the parking was easy as well.
Food was better than expected. I say this mainly because when a restaurant is open for so long more often than not
We really enjoyed our meal and overall expat Pomengranate. We sat in the outdoor garden area along the sidewalk and it was a very comfortable atmosphere. The service was wonderful and the food was really delicious and more than you could eat in one meal. Even my husband who is normally a picker eater loved it and said he wanted to come back. You won’t be disappointed!
Expected more. Not much in terms of flavor in any of our 4 meats, lamb tough.
It had been a couple of weeks since we dined at Pomegranate on Main and it was good to be back. We started with a Persian Mule (my hubby's favorite) and a wonderfully delicious glass of Bordeaux (one of my favorites). We both ordered the Roasted Salmon (medium) with Cranberry Rice (substitution). Such a delicious meal! We passed on dessert (holidays are coming!); otherwise, we would have ordered the yummy Pomegranate Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. Thank you, Daniel, for remembering us and our usual orders and thank you, Mike, for the perfect Mule. Pomegrantate is a Greenville treasure!
I think our server may have been having a bad day, as we weren't really treated to the warm and welcoming feeling we are used to. Easy enough, people have bad days... I get it. She did help us by telling us how the dishes were supposed to be eaten, and what everything was. We weren't offered coffee, tea or desert, and I think we were just looking to end the shift or maybe turn the table. The outdoor space was nice, and distanced between tables.
Very good food and service. I enjoyed their outdoor dining area. I plan to go back.
Another fantastic meal and great service!! Thank you.
