   My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. I wanted to get the Florentine steak so we asked to be seated at a booth for the extra table space. They were able to accommodate us and we had a very lovely meal. My husband was able to get Pasta Carbonara even though it was not on the menu. It's the best. My steak was delicious. Everything was perfect for our anniversary celebration. We got married 4 years ago and had our wedding dinner at Poggio's with a small group of friends. It was great to have the same food as on our wedding night. And the Affogato is a must have dessert at Poggio's.

   The food was excellent, welcome warm. One of my favorite restaurants. However this time there was a large dog at an adjacent table. I was unaware that dogs are allowed inside restaurants. I thought they had to be on the patio. It was not a service dog. The proximity was disturbing as was the aroma from the dog. This spoiled our evening at a favourite place.

   The server was quick but abets snippy. She obviously is a pro and was working a number of tables at one time. He had interesting personality rent was a bit of over control on client choices. Altogether regular three or four star. My rigatoni was superb^ all over the world including many places in Italy and this was almost the best I get that five stars. The ambience is very nice I did get a quiet table because I'm a hearing-impaired veteran they did accommodate me for that so I appreciate it I find that the interior of Providence Journal is very nice and I like it a lot. His one glaring shortcoming and that is the restrooms you have to go outside the restaurant and go up one flight to go to the restroom. How ridiculous. A restaurant of this caliber making you go through this. They should've done something like about this a long time ago. The only explanation I can think of is they ran into some petty bureaucracy that the city of Sausalito has

   Lovely table for four at the window inside as it was too cold outside. Excellent attentive service. A little noisy but we were offered a quieter setting. Delicious food artfully presented.

   We live Poggio. Consistently good experience, delicious food and a good bar. And the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Only variable has been the wait staff. We have our favorite, who offers helpful food recommendations and enhances our experience. Love it when we get assigned to his area!

   The waitstaff was very helpful and professional. The food was quite good and for the location a good value. And of course the location is world class.

   Very disappointing dinner at Poggio's. The meal was quite rushed - we had just gotten our drinks and bread and the soup was delivered. Minestrone was just okay. As soon as we had the last sip of soup, the entrees were delivered. There was no time to sit and chat at all. The rigatoni entree was delicious but the pappardelle was very disappointing. The meat was so tough you couldn't even chew it. Very bland sauce to boot. My husband took my noodles and mixed them with his sauce while I watched... It seemed like they just wanted to get everyone out as quickly as possible. It was a disappointing birthday dinner to put it mildly.

   We had an absolutely amazing experience. Carlos, our waiter was friendly, efficient and went above and beyond. Super friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. Pasta was excellent. The gnudi in particular. It really is a beautiful restaurant. Highly recommend.
