Chef is amazing , thank you
I went with my family for Thanksgiving brunch and the restaurant felt like a moratorium. No decor, bare tables, felt like a hospital environment. Moreover the menu was awful; 2 choices of Thanksgiving plated food or a la carte burgers like food. Simply awful. No fine dining as the website advertises. DO NOT WASTE UR TIME... We had a drink and some water while finding another plan. Miraculously we got a table at Casa Tua and it was divine.
Good food . Not special , taste good !
Super quiet but served our purpose as we “worked” thru dinner. Food was really delicious, potato leek soup and fried chicken sandwich topped the list! Our server (tall blond Mitch?) was excellent! Would def return for lunch to enjoy views!
Delicious food with a gorgeous backdrop of autumn colors out on the patio
Views are amazing
Dining outside at Plato's is the best view in the valley and food is good as well!
What a beautiful setting for a sunset dinner. Small menu, but it did not disappoint. Very tasty food, excellent attentive service. Definitely check this place out. Be sure to have transportation. It is not within walking distance from the main area in Aspen.
Plato's is always so special, with the incredible food, service, and views, but this experience was particularly wonderful. The incredible team went above and beyond to help us celebrate our second anniversary. It was so magical to celebrate at our stunning wedding venue!
Really enjoyed the evening. Server Zach was fantastic.
Lunch was great. Service was beyond excellent. Have been often and continues to be great.
We dinned outdoors on the patio with magnificent view of the mountains. Social distancing was very well done. The menu has limited choices but the food was excellent. I had stripped bass which I've seldom seen on a menu and it was cooked to perfection and served on a bed of fresh vegetables. My wife had roasted salmon which was delicious. The wine list isn't extensive but acceptable. If you are staying at the Aspen Meadows Resort, which I would strongly recommend, include a dinner a Plato's.
Very friendly staff and an amazing panoramic view from the outdoor deck. We were expecting a wee fancier. Felt more like casual dining as compared to fine dining. Worth trying for sure.
We were ignored for over 15 minutes after we finished our main course. The waiter never checked on us while we ate and the dishes were never cleared. After 15 minutes we had to flag the waiter down who came over and said” what do you want”? We then had to demand the check and left. Terrible service .
This restaurant is overrated. Selection of food very limited. Halibut dish was just blah, fish and a few vegetable. My husband added more salt so he cult get some taste out of it. I ordered a well done burger that was barely medium. staff is young and inexperienced, and even with a tiny group dining, it took forever to get the wine and our meal. Hard to find. It is basically attached to a Sports venue. I do not recommend.
If the weather is warm, make sure you sit outside with great views of the mountains.
I gave 2 stars for service because the server only looked at my husband when asking how things were tasting, whether we needed anything, etc.
Also, when we ordered dessert, he took my husband's order and whisked away without asking me if I wanted dessert. Rookie mistake.
Despite nice ambiance an average experience. Food lacked imagination. Service was pleasant but slow. Needs help...
Plato's has magnificent views and would be wonderful to go for a drink and an appetizer. They have a bar menu that we ordered some wings from and they were very good. We were underwhelmed with our main courses. I got a pasta dish that was served on a gigantic plate with about a handful of pasta. My husband got the tenderloin and it was good but very small. We left hungry.
Celebrated our anniversary at Plato’s. Everything on prix fixe menu was fantastic. Undercover the best food in Aspen and the view is amazing.
Did not do anything special for our 20th Anniversary
This restaurant is an undiscovered gem. I am selfish and do not want to praise it too much so it won't get too crowded.
Great spot to eat outdoors.
My birthday. We wish we would have gone there twice while in Aspen. The food was amazing.
We had a really nice meal at Plato’s. Our server, Thomas, was prompt and helpful, and Alex found the perfect wine for us. We enjoyed the INCREDIBLE view until it got too dark, and never felt rushed. Thanks for a great evening!
The food and experience was amazing and second to none! The 3-course pre fixe is an amazing value with excellent main courses and inventive desserts.
Excellent food and cocktails with surprising preparation and stunning presentation with wonderful service and magnificent views make for a truly enjoyable experience.
Maximum precautions taken at Plato’s and across entire resort are never intrusive, just woven into how they do things, making for an absolutely relaxing haven.
Our server could not have been nicer, more responsive or accommodating. So was the greeter at the door and all other staff walking around. Its impossible to beat the serenity and views, even in Aspen! We split a caesar salad and a club sandwich, both of which were ok but nothing special.
Great views! Beautiful peaceful place for a nice summer lunch.
Beautiful view and excellent Prix Fixe meal. Highly recommended.
Quiet, remote Aspen mountain view location. Either indoor or outdoor seating. We chose indoor seating by the window nearest the large outdoor sliding doors (best choice). The three-course meal with wine pairing is excellent. Add to your list.
THIS is the place with the best outdoor view of four ski slopes. Summer or winter if you sit out on the patio you will have the very best vistas in Aspen! The food was good, the prices are reasonable and the staff was quick and efficient. I think it’s one of the best kept dining secrets in Aspen.
Loved it as always! Please bring back the turkey club sandwich though!
Most beautiful view in valley and quiet & uncrowded patio with a simple but yummy menu. Servers cordial
This was The.Best. Fried Chicken. sandwich! The chicken was pounded thin and so tender. The toasted roll, pickled tomato and spicy mayo were so delicious?
Very good food, marvelous view. Excellent distance between tables outdoors. The only shortcoming is that the menu is very limited, but i understand that a more extensive menu is coming soon
Not sure if the limited menu and subpar food is a result of Covid measures, but we were incredibly disappointed with this meal. The view delivered and the staff was nice. The food was mediocre and overpriced so we walked away disappointed.
Sat on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful views with our dinner.
Always great food, wonderful ambiance and views to Aspen Highlands. The outside dining is perfect in our crazy world.
