Breaded and sauteed eggplant topped with mozzarella and provolone cheese served over a bed of pasta with basil and garlic marinara sauce
We always have a great time at Pitrelli's. Neighborhood gem
Gone here for many years & still enjoy it. Took some friends with us & they enjoyed it. Desserts were awesome!
Always enjoy the food, wine and wait staff at Pitrelli's. One of the best in the area.
Reminiscent of Italian restaurants of the 1950's. However, somewhat tired. I know from reading about the place that it was fairly new having moved from a nearby location, but, very unimpressed. Towels to clean tables with left on server station and then used and left on the table that was being cleaned. The food was not reminiscent of past Italian restaurants. The featured specialty is lasagna. Nothing very special other than I had heartburn all night. My companion order a very simple dish, pasta Alfredo. We waited almost an hour for our food to arrive with several other customers were seated way after us receiving their food before us. I really think our server forgot about us and blamed the kitchen for slowness. Both of our dishes were lukewarm. My companions dish was cold. It was like the pasta had sat on the plate for sometime and someone ladled Alfredo sauce over hoping that would warm the dish. Caesar salad could use a upgrade. If you are not going to traditionally make this dish, know full well that there are really good commercial dressing available that would be much better than what currently is served. If you're charging a premium price, provide premium ingredients. Finally and a real pet peeve, three small rolls for two people. Come on, the rolls were nothing fancy, you could truly have provided a fourth with your current menu pricing.
There were 4 of us and we waited over an hour to get our food! We had reservation at 6:30pm but didn't get seated until around 6:45pm. We ordered right away and food didn't come out until 7:45pm! There was no apology and the food tasted just ok. We won't be back.
The food and service were amazing!
We really liked having such a nice restaurant so close to us. The food and staff were both very good. My only criticism is the price point. Take off the bottle of wine and we were at $70 for two pasta dishes with salads. That’s steak dinner prices. Probably would go back, but only for a special occasions
Delicious food and wine, will definitely be back again.
Waiter forgot to order one entre, so it arrived after rest of party had finished their meals. Offers half off and no apology from management. Other three people felt had lots of food but marginal quality. Not on our list for a return visit.
Had a wonderful dinner and loved our server Katy. Looking forward to trying the pizza our next time in.
Food was wonderful as always! Best lasagna around.
Food good, service slow.
Pitrelli’s is a nice place to enjoy a special occasion.
Very nice evening. Have eaten here in multiple occasions and is always great
We were told almost as soon as we sat down the kitchen was running slow. It took almost an hour for our entrees to arrive. Odd thing was there were tables that were sat the same time we were and we saw two parties leave after finishing their meal while we were still waiting for our food to arrive. We’ve been here in the past and had great experiences. The food was not as good as it has been in the past.
V Day dinner
Disappointed I couldn't get Open Table points. The price value was very good.
Nice quiet cozy restaurant and the service and food were both great!
Was great we always like what we get. But tonight they mixed up are calzones I ordered meatballs my husband sausage. Mine had sausage his had meet balls. But we will still go back.
Food was wonderful as well as the service! What a wonderful neighborhood gem. I have lived in the area for years but had never been here before. I will definitely be back! As busy as they were for a Valentine's Day, the staff was very friendly and right on top of things all evening.
Wonderful as always
Delicious food, found some amazing vegeterian dishes on the menu 😊 Great place! Highly recommended!
I have been telling everyone about this restaurant since we Went there to celebrate our anniversary. We met Jim and he was a delight to talk with! I love the small town feel, with excellent service, food, and value! We will definitely be back!
Crab were nice but cold in the middle. Chicken Florentine was good, but prefer it not to be cut up like its prepared for a hospital patient. Pasta was tough. Entree was barely warm throughout. Worst excuse for Tiramisu I have ever had. A chocolate covered Twinkie dunked in a cup of coffee would have been an improvement.
Salad was good. Pizza came highly recommended but I think I would try something else. Chicken Parm, maybe. Pizza was good but the other foods looked so much better. Perfect date night place with an amazing ambiance!
Always caring staff. Excellent food
Awesome dining experience and fantastic food.
Wonderful neighborhood gem. Great atmosphere and large servings
Wonderful, food came out fast and tasted amazing!
I so wanted to enjoy this local restaurant. Had been wanting to try it for some time. Unfortunately, it will not be a restaurant we visit again. We were seated right away at our reserved time, however, it took nearly 15 minutes (restaurant was not busy) to even be acknowledged. Another 15 to get our drinks & order. Another 20 to receive bread & dip. A total of 1 hr, 10 minutes to receive dinner. The seafood pasta was very good, but the rest of our food was just ok. Chicken parm, linguine Alfredo & lasagna. 2 of those 3, more than half the food wasn’t eaten- or taken home. The food can be tolerated, but the terrible service can not. Disappointing.
This was our first time there. It was a little pricey but well worth the cost. We will be back!
Please don’t bring out the main course before we are done with our salads. It just sits and gets cold.
The food was old school Italian. It was well cooked and fresh. The service was a bit slow but passable with a good attitude.
Great family Italian restaurant. Service is good and food is always delicious
Always an excellent experience! Wonderful food and a real treat when the Pitrelli’s are there to make the experience extra special!
Had a good dinner here. Went with friends that had also been here before. Wife's food was not hot so we sent it back. Came back hot and all was well. Had a Chianti that was reasonable in cost and was very good.
Always love Pitrelli’s! We usually try to sit in the front bar area — Dave services the front — great suggestions, conversation and service! Food is always very good as well! Helped us celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.
This is the 3 time I've been there and every time it's been great I recommend anybody if you haven't been there try it it's worth it
We enjoy finding a great place to eat and Pitrellis did not disappoint
We always have a great time at Pitrelli's. The veal parmigiana was excellent.
