All was good except we had booked a low table and instead we got a high top by the door. Also the waiter told us it was time to go when we were finished because “they had another party coming in after us”. This may deter us from booking again or from speaking too highly of this restaurant.
Manager Catherine did an excellent job of getting us the table we needed to get through the business that we needed to. Service at our table upstairs by Tim the bartender was prompt, friendly and perfect.
Great quantity of food for the price. Service was outstanding being attentive but not intrusive. A family favorite now. The pizza was fantastic as was the salads and spaghetti. You will want to eat your entire meal but probably won't be able to.
Good food and great service but a little loud for a family birthday party
food and service is great but the music is always too loud.
Pitch continues to be a wonderful restaurant in West Omaha. The server was excellent in explaining different aspects of the menu. And the service was terrific as was the food.
We went for brunch to celebrate a friend’s birhday. I had it was her birthday on the reservation, and our server greeted us by telling her Happy Birthday and informed her she would get some free tiramisu at the end of her meal! Overall he was a great server, very friendly and took great care of us. Food was quite delicious as always. I got the baby spinach mushroom salad with shrimp and it was perfect.
Pitch West is always a great experience, we definitely will be back
One of the best brunch menus in town.
Food was outstanding and when we were done we were not rushed out. Very welcoming place.
In town for business and had dinner with husband and kids. Something for eveyone
Great place to take 7 grandkids out for a special lunch!
Food is always fantastic! Love the ambiance. Service is always good. Always recommend (I brought 4 new patrons my last visit) and will return!
Busy place however waitstaff was overwhelmed with the amount of tables each one had. One entree order came out 10 minutes after the other 3, not good planning! House made pasta was flimsy and fell apart while consuming. The drinks were spot on, and reasonably priced.
We love Pitch! Great food, cool atmosphere, great drinks.
Always one of my favorite places to dine! The cocktails are one of a kind. Great!
I met my girlfriends for dinner and the food was outstanding. We had Calimari and Atichoke Salad appetizers that were the best in Omaha! Or even NYC OR LA!
And I had a vegetarian pizza that was to die for! The service was great too.
My only negative comment is the noise level. Not great for conversing or romantic evenings. But nonetheless...the food makes up for it.
I’ll be back soon!!
Absolutely great service! Food was delicious and pretty quick. A bit pricey but my hubby raves about the lamb chops!!
The service was spectacular during brunch this past Sunday. Options on the menu were perfect and presentation was spot on! It was nice to visit Pitch at a time where the noise level wasn’t as loud on a normal dinner night. Would do brunch again at Pitch! Thanks for being awesome, Chelsea!
Fantastic service and immediate seating. Broad range of menu options and a great win list to select from.
The SPARERIBS & POLENTA is the very best in the city. The GOAT CHEESE PEPPADEWS are not to be missed. The flavors, texture and appearance are awesome.
This is one of our favorite restaurants. Every time we have family or friends in town we take them here. If you haven't tried the Sunday Brunch menu you are missing out.
Always friendly service and high quality food. Pitch never disappoints!
A friend from Phoenix was excited to hear about the Scottsbluff location opening soon!
This place is amazing. I highly recommend for Sunday Brunch/Lunch!
We always enjoy their pizza and great meatball appetizers. The side dish Brussel Spouts were exceptionally good as was the service. Staff is very good dealing with young children.
Our server was Mark and he was great. Very personable, funny, etc. Thank you.
Overall we had a great experience. Because it was so loud inside we asked to be setted outside which was great until the mosquitos came out. Food was great. Service was great.
Waitress was wonderful! Super helpful with our first time there and great recommendations. Patio was awesome, fan was a little noisy. Food was amazingly good. Overall, fantastic and plan to return!
Our service was very slow! After ordering we waited 40+ minutes for our food, then it was wrong. Three of us were finished eating before the fourth meal was even served. Then another 20+ minute wait for the check. The server apologized, but the manager never stopped by.
There are plenty of places to eat in Omaha where the prices are reasonable, the service is good, and the correct food is served in a reasonable time - bottom line there is no reason to ever go back!
Amazing service, flavors, ambiance and food! A local favorite!
My family had a great dinner with great service by Michael! Food and drinks were amazing!
Great as usual. Food is always awesome and homemade
Best gluten-free pizza in Omaha! Regular crust great as well. Generous with high quality ingredients on both.
The food ( the part that we received) was good, but service was lacking. Forgot to give us our appetizer and one person in our party had to wait almost 10 minutes for their meal after the other people at the table had received their entrees. Not sure if the kitchen was the issue or the wait staff or both.
The acoustics/noise level is really, really loud making conversation amongst table mates difficult. I
My son wanted to go here for his Birthday. Pizza was awesome! I would highly recommend Pitch.
Horrible service. They asked our party of 4 to leave at a specific time without notifying us. The manager just rudely came up and said we had 10 more minutes left before she needed us to leave. That’s never happened to me before this. What a ridiculous request to a paying ex customer. If the mark up on drinks and food aren’t high enough for our party to order a nice desert and one more round of drinks, then change your prices and quit kicking people out on a timer.
We always love pitch! It was a great night out with our friends!
We always enjoy our meals at Pitch. This time was not as good as other times, kitchen was over run and food was not as good as usual. Management did comp a dessert to help make up for errors.
Party of 7 for Fathers Day Brunch. Most of the meals were great - but a couple were horrible. Wife had a veggie omelet and it came out with brown (burned) eggs. She ate the veggies while we waited for the server to come back around - but by then everyone else had finished. Kind of shocked they even tried to serve it. Pizzas were great (a bit overpriced compared to competition such as Dante - which is light years better - but clearly a different vibe). Sangria was really good. Service other than not showing back after meals were brought out was terrific. Forget her name but she was working her butt off to cover a lot of tables. My Chili chili (or whatever it was called) was below average. Chorizo was way over done.
We have been to Pitch West probably 20 times. Always mixed results. Basic foods they do a great job with - but if you want to try something the chef has been creative with - save yourself the trouble because it is almost always a fail. Best way to enjoy this place is to have some cocktails and then order a salad or pizza. Maybe the mac and cheese - other than that - don't do it. Dundee version seems to be markedly more adept at off menu cuisine.
So if you go - get a cocktail, have a wedge or arugula salad or pizza and call it a day. You will not be disappointed. But if you venture beyond that - be warned it'll suck. If you want great farm to table and fresh cuisine - Omaha has some much better options. this is a great restaurant for the beautiful people crowd to be seen and trendy.
We'll go back but probably less frequently as there are way too many other options that are better.
