   Entering into the lower level of the restaurant there is an “old house” odor. Upon making it upstairs you’re greeted with crafty/stuffed old ladies…kinda odd. The seating area was awkwardly quiet and despite being nearly empty they seated us right next to another couple. Food was pretty good, especially the empanadas. The filet mignon burger was good but extremely salty. Not sure we’ll return.

   Piropos is a true Kansas City gem! There is a good reason Travis K wanted to bring Taylor S here on a special date. The atmosphere is great; fun, interesting, uniquely classy but comfortable; the wonderful and charming owner's special touch is seen everywhere! The food is always fresh and outstanding quality, from salads to sauces to seafood/fish and beyond! The service lines up as great as food and ambiance. PIROPOS is great as both a special date night in their dining room with amazing views of the downtown KCMO skyline, or the friendly bar with the "everybody knows your name " feel. Don't miss this wonderful dining experience!!!

   This was our first Easter brunch at Piropos. It was an outstanding experience! Kathryn was an outstanding server, cheerful and very efficient. The food was served hot and was excellent. The shrimp cocktail was cold and spicy. I may have had the best omelet ever.

   The food was outstanding. However, from the time we got there our reservation was off. We were meeting another couple and they were seated in a completely different room. We didn't figure it out until we called to check on them. We had been seated for 20 mins ordered drinks and apps. We tabbed out with one waitress holding our drinks, awkwardly standing around waiting to move. Then, there was a magician.... Since we had the issue with seating we didn't get to have dessert or we would miss our show. We will go back since the food is delicious but definitely arrive at the same time if we are meeting others.

   Excellent dinner. Bridget was so wonderful enjoyed visiting with her. They even helped me secure a private room for to host Mothers Day for my 88 year old Mom!

   Such a beautiful atmosphere. Wonderful views of the city. The food is always amazing as is the service!! I would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant!!

   I had the best birthday dinner. The food was amazing. Service was excellent. They really made me feel so special for my birthday. I always tell all my loved ones from out of town to come here. I can’t wait to be back!!

    Piropos has been on our dining bucket list for a while. It is easily one of our favs now. The food was amazing, and our server was wonderful. The empanadas are incredible. We also had the brie which was delicious. For our entrees we had the peppercorn encrusted filet in the brandy cream sauce and the rack of lamb with lingonberry sauce. Both were amazing. The lamb came with polenta that was delicious. We received a complementary dessert as we were celebrating our anniversary. Highly recommend!
