Pinstripes - Chicago

Best brunch food I’ve ever had. Dining area was a bit cramped, but definitely a great time.
Kept us waiting even though we had a reservation
This is our 1st trip to Chicago. We are from West Tennessee. We had reservations for lunch today. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately. Everything was delicious!!! I had lunch with my teenage sons and my teenage nephew. They were thoroughly pleased with their meals. I absolutely love the chicken corn chowder. My nephew raved about the maple glazed salmon. We would definitely come back to Pinstripes. Our waitress was very attentive to our table. I was also very pleased with the prices for our meal.
A favorite for lunch. Great scratch kitchen. Complimentary focaccia with pesto dip for the table. Love both the summer and winter versions of the burrito salad. Added grilled chicken is always moist and tender.
The experience was great until the table across from me had someone braiding hair for 30 minutes at the table...disgusting!!!
Very clean modern restaurant with a twist, namely a bowling and bocce access in the lower level. There is no noise affecting dining. Overall a pleasant, different night out.
Food was delicious and service was great. Warm and inviting atmosphere.
Our party had a mix of adults and little kids. They put us in a great spot so the kids could enjoy bocce and the adults could chat. The food was delicious!
Great food! Great service!
Barbque chicken flatbread is freakishly Delicious Yum0
We had just arrived in Chicago and were still in our travel clothes with kids, two 16 year olds in tow. Our server rolled her eyes when our two girls just wanted to order small items off the kids menu. I ordered one of the most expensive items on the menu. Our server paid very little attention to us. Our plates were never cleared we were never offered refills and we had to flag down the manager because our ordered was cooked wrong. My wife and I are veterans of the restuarant industry and frequently tip 25-30%. We tipped 15% for only the second time in 23 years. Dont judge a book by its cover.
Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Always love Pinstripes.
Simple, high quality food in a pleasant setting. Good service, fair prices and good wine selection
Great selection of dishes to choose from, and the service was excellent! Fun atmosphere with a lot of energy.
Great food, quick service, overall a very positive dining experience!
A favorite spot for lunch. Great patio dining venue but inside also comfortable. Shout out to hostess Evelyn who quickly spotted a view rings on the table left from glasses while she was seating us and quickly had the table perfectly clean.
Terrible service from an aggressive and rude female server. Ruined my team event.
Always a great spot with great food!
Yoga class offered
Loved the ambiance of the dining room and the food was amazing!
Always great. One of our favorites for chic casual lunch in great urban setting. Fantastic patio dining. I love the burrata salad and my husband goes for the open faced salmon sandwich.
Went here for my birthday. The ambience is great. The noise level is perfect for conversation. It next to a nice jazz club.
Great service, knew we were discussing business and was cautious of coming in at the right time. Flow worked very well!
We sat outside on a beautiful evening with music playing. It was fabulous.
Had some friends visiting from Cape Town, South Africa. It was a great experience. We had the wonderful opportunity to meet Dale. The staff was very accommodating! We sat outside, the weather was perfect, Raymond Goodman was playing the saxophone. The ambience could not have been any better. They had a wonderful time. Even though visitors to Chicago wants to try pizza, we wanted them to experience something a little more contoured to the Table Bay Area in Cape Town. Pinstripes was the place!!! Always bring or recommend my friends to Pinstripes!
Service was very slow, not to mention the server was RUDE. We did not get our appetizer for nearly 20 minutes. When asked why the server obnoxiously informed us ‘that food needs to be cooked’.
We ordered Hummus platter and a dish that is prepared beforehand and does not need to be cooked. Basically, she yelled at me for asking her why the appetizer was delayed. When we finally did get the Hummus we could not even stomach eating it after such an abhorrent conversation with the server.
It was a horrible evening.
The food was good. You can sit outside if you'd like.
We kind of felt rushed by our server. He didn’t even ask if we wanted dessert and we did. When we went bowling the server was really attentive. That made the experience worthwhile.
Good food - service was horrendous
The server we had was outstanding. Food was very good. Surprised how nice it was. Great place for a group or special dinner
Waiter was amazing. Best I have had there
Pinstripes is a local favorite, a big reason for reserving the restaurant. We'd hoped for a space on the patio overlooking Ogden Slip, but the weather didn't cooperate. It wasn't a problem. It's always fun to be there. This was the first time we'd gone there for Sunday Brunch, and we weren't disappointed. People had lots of options for a mid-day meal: a large omelette station, an area serving roast beef (yum!) along with shrimp and salmon. Other areas served pastas, bagels, fruits, and desserts. Guests also had a complimentary mimosa--nice touch! Although Pinstripes was full, it's clear staffers had spent time figuring out how best to present the food so that there were no lines. Our servers were attentive, cleared dishes quickly, and checked in that everything was OK. Brunch was a positive experience, and we'll be back!
The salads were great. The calamari was fried so hard it was inedible. The service was slow and sloppy. The restaurant was loud and smelled of liquid smoke.
Love stopping here for lunch. Too hot this time to sit on patio but inside is always comfortable in an urban chic setting. My favorite is the burrata salad with grilled chicken and my husband loves the open faced salmon sandwich. Food is always presented beautifully. Service was attentive.
We always make a point of hitting this brunch when we’re in town, with kids or without kids. The food is really good. The ambience is nice. The service is good. And if we’re with the kids, we make a one hour bocce reservation, as well. We’re not into sports but it’s just enough for a little fun and family laughs. We’ve had the food and desserts here when it was NOT brunch, and we were not happy. But the brunch?...Good stuff!
Amazing views, beautiful decor and delicious food! Servers could be a little more attentive! Can’t wait to return on our next chicago visit!
Amazing place to hang out very very cool atmosphere food was great you even got to see the fireworks love that the scenery around you is Picture Perfect they even give you blankets by the fire loved it
Nice brunch spot. Food was pretty good but could have been replenished more frequently so it was fresher. I enjoyed the mini waffles but the server was really stingy with the syrup. The view on the patio was really lovely.
The food is always delicious and fresh! My favorites are the salad with the vinaigrette dressing, the grilled zucchini, and the sausage and waffles! This is one of my favorite Sunday buffets. Amber was very attentive! Always refilling water when needed. Always asking if we are good! Thanks Amber for being at our service! Hope to See you next time.
Outstanding! The prime rib pretzel sandwich is my favorite and the hummus platter for an appetizer.
