Went on a Sunday so slow night - pretzel bread dip was excellent, house chop salad was weird -dates AND olives that look exactly the same, and why tortilla strips? - the mozzarella app was good but all the service people referred to it by a different name than was on the menu which created odd interactions. The service was good overall as would be expected on a slow night and the space is very large with great views. Didn’t do bowling or bocce but could see how those would be fun here.
Excelent place to lunch or dinner with great views!!
We went for the bottomless pasta and salad dinner. The pasta and salad was excellent.
Great atmosphere for team networking and sports. Food and drinks very food and reasonable. Had a great time!!
Thank you, the Miller electric ITW safety team
Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the evening with my date.
Always good food, friendly, and usually able to get a table. One of our favorite neighborhood options.
Great outdoor venue on the river. Flatbreads are great!
A great late dinner stop for after the movies at AMC. Convenient, open late, and great food.
Our server Amber was delightful. We enjoyed our food, wine, and dessert. We ate on the patio which has a great view of the city and water.
Pinstripes is a variety of things in one location. One can play bocce ball or go bowling. There is dining both inside and outside. The outside area, where we sat this round, faces Ogden Slip, a short inlet off of Lake Michigan in the Streeterville area of downtown Chicago. It's great to watch boats go by and to have a view of the skyline facing south. The menu is varied. Service good. Food prices average for table service restaurants downtown. We've been here probably 15-20 times in the past few years. We've always been pleased with our meal selections.
Great local spot for those of us in the neighborhood. Great food, quiet if you go early. Save room for their homemade gelato, exceptional!
Amazing food but the service was terrible. The waiter took our order for drinks and then brought it out about 40 mins later and then charged us for double the amount of drinks and said he had dropped our drinks that’s why he charged us.
Love the patio!
We were given a table in the rear deck overlooking the canal. It was a lovely evening and we enjoyed the food and wine.
Great for brunch. There was a good selection of brunch type food items. The food is very good and service was friendly. The omelet station is impressive, lots of fresh choices. Your first mimosa is included with the price of the brunch. It's a good value and we plan to return.
I had a special request for my wife’s 35th birthday, but the server told me that “nobody told me, sorry “ but it was printed on the card he was given by the hostess. Food and ambiance was great, wish the attention to detail was better.
Lively place with good food that can get noisy at times.
Pinstripes is a very nice & enjoyable restaurant also with a family atmosphere..
We had an excellent brunch at Pinstripes! Amazing food selection, good service, and a fun atmosphere. Can't wait to return!
I had put in the notes we were celebrating a birthday and no one asked us about it. Also I would have loved to have sat outside. Our food did not come out in the order we asked, and the one flat bread was rushed and burnt. The water and food delivery team was excellent, our waiter on the other hand just didn’t seem as attentive.
There are many options in Chicago. I was not wowed by my experience.
Sunday Brunch was good as always, though the number of choices seemed slightly smaller than in the past and empty dishes were not refilled as promptly. (5 minutes of empty dishes versus being refilled before empty in the past). Still not bad, but noticeable to semi-regulars.
The food and outdoor seating were awesome. The service was mediocre. I would recommend this restaurant still, as a family friendly, reasonably priced option, with fabulous outdoor dining and delicious gluten free options.
We just found all the dishes to be very salty.
Great dinner! Food was delicious & the menu had something for everyone. We sat outside and it was lovely
The waiter brought the WRONG Pepperoni Pizza to our table twice!!! We had ordered a Margarita Pizza for an appetizer. Then our dinner came immediately and could not even enjoy the right pizza. The manager did make a fresh one to take home. We were entertaining guest from out of town and would have liked a better experience!! We sat outside and that was the best part of the whole dinner. We have dined at your Northbrook location MANY times since it opened and have never had a problem!!
Although the pasta dishes were very good, the service outside was VERY slow. Our table for 4 was seated near the bocce court on a quiet Tuesday night. Only 2 tables were seated outside at 7:15pm and still it seemed that they forgot about us. It was beautiful weather though it had sprinkled about 5pm so perhaps the servers assumed they weren't seating outside? This was our first visit and chose Pinstripes based on food recommendations which didn't disappoint but they really need to work on training servers.
Great atmosphere, good service. Calamari was excellent!
2 out of 3 meals were really good....the 3rd meal wasn't bad but certainly wasn't as advertised with very, very little meat in the pasta despite the claim that it would have 3 different types of meat, indicating a healthy amount would be there....the amount was almost imperceptible....from a drink with hair in it, to slow and inattentive service the occasion was nearly ruined....nice venue, and some good food, but service and attentiveness was lacking from beginning to end
We waited for over an hour for our food. There were only four of us, two being children. We never got water refills or were checked in on. Overall, some of the worst service ever.
It’s always a good experience
Pinstripes food and service are consistently wonderful. Great view of the river when dining on their outdoor patio. Great place for locals and tourists. Fabulous location.
A very very fun time!! Great addition to our visit to Chicago! Food wasn’t outstanding, but we weren’t there for the food.
Fantastic and attentive service! Lots of options.
Best service and meal that I've had in a very long time! Our waitress was excellent and so very friendly. Gavin, the manager in training, was helpful with his food & wine selections and a wealth of I formation about the restaurant as well as Chicago. Can't wait to for the Kansas City Pinstripes to open since it is much closer to me. But I can guarantee that the next time I'm in Chicago I will be dining at Pinstripes!! Thank you so much!!
The ribs we had were delicious. My soup was too salty but the waiter took it off the bill. Classy.
Excellent food every time. Something for everyone. Happy hour prices are incredible. Outdoor patio is fabulous.
However, the service is inattentive, wait staff impossible to find, and they do not correct orders without several reminders. Water/bus staff has always been good and have tried to track them down. This has happened about 60-75% of the times we’ve come. Please hire more wait staff or train them.
Pinstripes Streeterville offers excellent food at reasonable prices. Wait/Bar Servers are consistently customer oriented. I love having Pinstripes in my Streeterville neighborhood. One of the best views of the River on their outdoor patio.
We had an excellent server named Sana. Food was great!
We had the most wonderful server (Katie) that went above and beyond for us. The food and drinks were amazing but our server ensured we were taken care of and that will be what I remember most about my experience! Thank you Katie!
