Food was okay. Not bad at all, but nothing overly memorable. Great setting on the water and service was good. Would come back when in town. (In fairness we came on a Monday night, so not always the best night to eat out.)
Great outdoor dining space on the marina. Accommodated our group of 8 nicely. Need to start polishing the wine glasses, but the food was amazing!!
Excellent food. Great service, with an exceptional location
Nice views of the marina but for a local bar type restaurant the prices were steep. $28 for a plate of pasta??
The kind of seafood one imagines in the keys - fresh caught, layers of flavors, tropical drinks, and key lime pie to top it off. A place that's heavily frequented by locals as a dependable go to for great local fish.
Eat indoors if you don’t want to be surrounded by smokers, which stinks because the view of the marina and boats is cool, but the smoking at the bar and outdoor tables makes it hard to enjoy dinner.
Ambiance for a beach bar is good, great happy hour. Valentine's prices for dinner, of course, were up. I would not recommend it for special occasions. Harbor bar yes. I asked if they used Key West Pinks for their ship dishes. Told no, they use a local source. I'm thinking Publix?
Great location but disappointing food. Octopus was so tough.
Sitting outside was nice, but the band was very loud, making it difficult to talk. Service was fine- a bit indifferent, but prompt. The food was average.
Food was good in general except waiter did not know what type of oysters they had and claimed the cook wouldn't know either. We ordered them anyway, they were just ok. Rest of our food was good except our drinks didn't turn out as we hoped (especially for the price). We made some modifications so that we could enjoy our drinks (overall this was disappointing). Glass bottom bar is way over marketed, it's only under a few bar stools. We would not go back again.
Casual atmosphere with "water view" overlooking a marina. Service was prompt and attentive. Overall food was very good, enjoyed conch fritters, conch chowder, smoked fish dip, and grouper sandwich...all very good.
Nice place, good food, great staff. I will come back (and I leave in France)
This place is a classic dive bar on the water. Inside dining is sterile and quiet. Outside is loud with live music and interesting local people. We ate dinner twice and the best things we had were the steamed little neck clams and fish sandwich.
The octopus was amazing! Fantastic as usual.
Great food, place and ambiance.
Loud, fast, gettm in and gettm out kinda place.
Great place lots of fun live band
Great casual atmosphere. We sat outside which was great. Ask for a table away from the band otherwise you can talk with your dinner companions. Good food and drinks.
Our waitress Jen was awesome! The food was great and a good value.
Was quite disappointed, perhaps they were overwhelmed by being open on Xmas eve.
Great view and nice selection.
Good staff, polite and attentive.
Definitely will return next time I’m in the Keys, Enjoy!
Ate here 2x during the week in Key Largo. Excellent food! From salads to fish to casual sandwiches, everything was excellent. And the hot fudge sundaes are delicious and huge. Live music almost nightly. Outdoor covered seating, large bar seating also.
Thanksgiving dinner. Wonderful food and wonderful location.
We dined here for Thanksgiving. The food and drinks were delicious. The service was beyond reproach. The view was outstanding. It definitely made for a memorable Thanksgiving in the Keys.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We will definitely recommend
Our waiter had a severe attitude problem. I asked not to be seated next to the bar where there about 6 people smoking because my nose closes up and I start coughing. He acted like I was in the wrong for asking such a thing. It’s not like I was asking the people to stop smoking just asking to not be down wind of it. They seated us in the corner where we had a great view of trash floating in the water. I said nothing not wanting my food to spit in. The food was ok not spectacular. Our waiter continued to have an attitude through out our dinner even though seating was the only thing we asked for during our stay. Sad the glass bottom bar doesn’t exist anymore since the last hurricane. It definitely caters to locals and I felt like they didn’t want us there because we weren’t from there.
Great food and very friendly helpful service with a lovely waterfront location.
Enjoyed our food and the service was great. Had read this was a good place for sunset, but no view and in Oceanside. Had heard there were glass bottoms around bar, but they were covered up after the last hurricane.
Thank you for your review. I'm glad that you enjoyed your time with us. Yes Hurricane Irma did a job on us and unfortunately when repairing the deck we found structural damage underneath so the glass panels had to go to ensure the safety of all. We hope to see you again soon!
We got to the restaurant about 10 minutes early . The hostess and General Manager told us they don’t participate in Open Table and they will not be able to seat us . The General Manager went as far as to say we are lying since he is not contracted with Open Table.
We showed our reservation , but left anyway due to the horrible treatment we received .
We do not recommend this rude establishment, There are so many restaurants on the riverfront to choose from that want your business
I am very sorry that you had such a bad experience. Personally I would have done the same thing and left if treated that way. The only problem is we are not a riverfront restaurant. We are located in Key Largo, Florida on the ocean side in a marina. I do believe that you are confusing my restaurant with another. I am the general manager and I would NEVER treat a guest that way. If you are ever in Key Largo stop by and visit us. I would love to buy you a drink and laugh about the mix up!
Pilot house is always a solid choice for us for a laid back weekend lunch. Service by Immanuel was a little slow at times, but he did apologize for the delay which is fine. Wine was cold. Food was good. My steak quesadilla was delicious. Prices are reasonable and a nice view of a marina to boot.
Great location in the marina. Hidden away. Not ultra busy. Great service and decent food
Only reason we chose the restaurant was the glass bottom bar. Storm irma wiped it out in 2017 and now just regular bar. The restaurant shouldn't advertise this feature. Lots of disappointed kids arrived!
Food was decent, just didnt meet our expectations from false advertising.
Service could have been better and the decor is very outdated but the food was delicious and on point! Off the beaten path cool spot
Love this place, great drink specials, food and service every time we have come is just amazing!
The food is very poor quality apart if you take the common dishes, Cesar salad, and stuff like this. And what I found rude is the very quick service for you not to stay too long! As soon as you put your cutlery down the people come and immediately remove everything and 1 mn later you have the check.
I don’t recommend this place although the spot is really fantastic!
Great cocktails and outstanding music. Our server was terrific- friendly, attentive and knowledgeable
One of my favorites. Great food, good music and friendly people.
The food was delicious, staff attentive and just another great keys atmosphere! I got the Pistachio crusted mahi mahi from diners, drive-ins and dives and it was so delicious before I knew it my plate was empty! YUMMY!!!
I wish we would have known about the glass floor not being there. I also wasn’t aware of the smoking being allowed and was sat between 2 smoking tables, which wasn’t fun. Service was great and food was awesome.
