A huge fan of Pig & Khao. Service is impeccable, the drinks keep flowing, and the food is so good. I recommend the pork belly adobo and sizzling sisig. Get some coconut rice as well. The music is a lot of hip-hop, which I love. I've been here a few times already and that routine won't change.

Food was delicious and authentic. Waiter was very friendly and helpful. Didn’t feel rushed even though the restaurant is small. It was comfortable and relaxing. Order no more than 4 small dishes for 2 people - it’s plenty to eat.

My boyfriend and I came here for a date. We sat at the bar (which was right in front of the kitchen, so being foodies it was cool to see our food as well as the rest of the food being cooked/served). The food and the drinks were great. It is definatley a little gem.

Go-to restaurant for consistently delicious, creative dishes, great service and great drinks. Tamarind Hall with a salt rim is perfect cocktail. Recommend the Brussels sprouts with pork jowl, papaya salad with chicken, baby octopus, and grilled sirloin with isaan sauce.

I was dying to get here, and I already want to go back. We had the papaya salad, the pineapple salad, that glorious whole fish and rice. All were flavorful, without being overdone or overly salted. Love the atmosphere, with the open kitchen and roomy bar. And our servers were awesome.

I come to P&K a lot. Waiters and servers were not the friendliest. I asked them to pace our food out. They said they don’t really do that but they would. They then proceeded to bring us all the food simultaneously and acted like we didn’t exist after. No water refills, no cleaning empty plates and dishes. Overall not happy with one of my favorite restaurants in NYC.

Food was excellent. Server was friendly but not particularly helpful in making any suggestions. We were the last reservation so we were there until close and felt a little rushed to leave but all in all it was a good experience. Order the pork belly adobo and papaya salad to start.

It's a great spin on Filipino and Thai food. For two people, one "small plate" option is the right amount off the dinner menu. The coconut rice is amazing and pairs perfectly with the Khao Soi. The atmosphere is a bit loud but I didn't have to scream and if my throat wasn't hoarse then I can't complain. Service was fast and the servers were attentive.

Unlimited mimosas (served by the pitcher if you ask kindly) and self serve beer on tap. Food (sizzling pork/beef and delicious fried rice) pairs very nicely with beer. All in all - a fantastic spot.

Only complaint is that there’s only one bathroom on the premises so be wary of the lines (or lack thereof) and take advantage of small windows of opportunity.

Delicious food! We way over ordered so I wish we had had a little more feedback from our server in that respect. But otherwise, the service was great and the atmosphere was fun. I couldn't get enough of the coconut rice and loved the pork jowl with brussels sprouts.

The Half Chicken Inasal was smaller than I thought it would be for a family-sized large plate, and it was only ok, but I loved the small plate I had! I don't remember the name, but it had egg in it, as well as anchovies, which I never thought I would like. Good service by the waiter, who was very knowledgeable with the menu and helping me and my friend choose what to eat for our first time there.

Enjoyed the sisig - really great flavors. The crispy pata was good. The banana turon had a bit too much cinnamon for my taste but the ice cream was very tasty. We will come back on a future visit to NYC.

Dustin took foods that were familiar and made them wholly new! P&K is a gem. I had wanted to come in for quite a while and I was not disappointed. While the menu is Southeast Asian based or inspired, it was not just another Thai/Pan-Asian. For example, the green papaya salad was familiar but had some undefinable difference that set it apart from those I'd eaten in the past. Every dish was wonderful and the flavor combinations worked no matter what we mixed and matched. I have a new favorite in NYC and it is Pig & Khao!

I cannot say enough about this place. The food was outstanding. Bold flavors and ample protions. The service was exceptional and not what you might expect for a neighborhood place. And the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. This is a place that you must stop by nad enoy. You will not be let down, especially if you love food.

Server forgot to put in order so took over 40 minutes to get food. He comp'd us a free dish but was too full by the time the last dishes came out that we couldn't eat anymore. Still love the food there but the service was mediocre as the server didn't apologize but rather said there were computer problems.

My second visit to Pig and Khao reinforced my love for this place ten-fold. The first time, we sat at the bar and loved watching the plates come together and Chef Leah Cohen add the final touches.

This time around, our group of five ordered two large plates (ribs and duck), three small (ramen, curry, and pork belly adobo), two sides of rice and the market vegetables, and we ended with two orders of turon for dessert. The portion sizes were perfect for our group. The drinks were delicious (Tamarind Hall, tequila plus tamarind?! An amazing combination!!) and the food was phenomenal. The filipino dishes were rich, the thai dishes, flavorful...

Such a great experience! I was running late for my reservation and had called them to let them notify. They were super nice about it and had no problem with it. In addition, our server, Richard, was great! Bottomless mimosas are a most as the mimosas were so great and he was always there to make sure we always got our share of refills. He was super funny and attentive to my friend and I. Definitely made us feel welcomed and made us want to come back.

As service was amazing, the good was great also. The open kitchen was also interesting and also gave the restaurant a great vibe. Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend!

Everything we had was delicious. We had brunch and they have bottomless mimosas for $15: get the lychee flavor. We had the corned beef hash, papaya salad (my personal favorite), a ramen dish whose name I forget, the red curry where I simply wish they had more soft noodles in it, the sizzling sissig (sp?), and the doughnuts (which I didn't try because I was stuffed).

Pig and Khao was great, as always. We opted for the tasting menu and were completely satisfied - perfect amount of food, good variety, lots of great flavors, and a decent value.

We had a reservation and still had to wait about 15-20 minutes for a table, but the restaurant bought us a round of cocktails while we waited. Great service.
