Tucked away down Dean Street amongst the hustle and the hipsters is the Pierre Victoire, one of Soho’s favourite dining institutions. This little haunt has been serving up rustic French cuisine to loyal regulars for nearly 3 decades, and this is still one of London’s favourite places for date nights and cosy pre-theatre meals. Part Provencal, part Art Nouveau, the dining room at Pierre Victoire is decorated with whitewashed walls, chalkboard menus, a vintage piano, eclectic artworks, untreated wooden floorboards and wine bottles stuffed with drippy candles, and the wholesome home-style cuisine and moreish wine is all delightfully affordable. With a steak-centric menu, Pierre Victoire also serves all the French classics, creative salads and plenty of seafood.

                                                            Food was very good, we did feel a little rushed though even though we were early for our booking. Table bookings on open table were until 22.45 but they closed at 23.00 so I got the impression they closed early due to the bank holiday but forgot to amend their opening times on the app. Despite this we would return as we liked the menu and the staff were very efficient and friendly.

                                                            Very busy Sat night and the kitchen didn’t miss a beat. Whisked to our table for reservation right away. Sharer was out quickly and my duck dish was incredible. Wife’s lamb was amazing. Staff attentive but not overly so. Had to change our reservation time last minute but they accommodated. Thanks for a great experience!!!

                                                            A quirky French style restaurant in the heart of Soho with great staff and delicious food. We were not hurried out and had a leisurely lunch. Good value for central London.
