                                            We have been going here for 42 years and it has never disappointed. The view was beautiful and our server, Libbey, was lovely and just the right amount attentive. We had a wonderful evening for our anniversary . I would definitely recommend the Pier W. Always top notch.

                                            Ordered ribeye and it was tough and dry even though I ordered medium rare. Asked for window seat a month in advance and again was seated furthest away from windows possible. Will not be going back

                                            amazing view from window table seating and as always, the food was very well prepared and interesting - both to the eye and to the taste buds

                                            We don’t get here enough since we live over an hour away but it is always so great! The food and service at stellar. Well done!

                                            We have dined at Pier W many times in the past without issue. This one time, things did not go so well, primarily our food was delayed and, when it was finally served, it was lukewarm at best. A member of the serving staff came by to mention that they had just experienced a "staffing issue" and apologized for the lukewarm food. In compensation they gave us each a free dessert with no strings attached. That is until the bill arrived and we found we had been billed for the desserts. It was quickly corrected and we left without further ado. This is decidedly unlike anything we had previously experienced, so we'll just consider it a one off, and return in the future.

                                            The service was very slow. We were greeted quickly but then we were left to wait a long time that another waiter came and asked us if we had been helped. The clam chowder soup was excellent, the calamari was rubbery, the chicken and cod sandwiches were dry on top but soggy in the bottom that you could not pick them up to eat them. Instead we ate them like an open face sandwich with fork & knife. The creme brulle was average and very little creamines. The bread rolls & butter were excellent also.

                                            Wife’s barramundi was a bit undercooked as it did not flake easily with a fork or pull away from the skin which we understand is a test doneness. Marsala sauce for my rockfish was a bit on the thin side. Good flavor though as I had this same dish last visit. The polenta fries were excellent! Overall, menu could use a refresh to add grouper, halibut, escolar or golden tile

                                            Great atmosphere, view, service, food…. The birthday menus and birthday brownie really were nice extra touches. The live piano music, on a Thursday night, really made it super special though.

                                            This was a special occasion but at Pier W every visit is a special occasion. The Pier W Team is spectacular. Food, service, staff - !!!

                                            The food was excellent but especially the lobster bisque which is unbelievable. My swordfish was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. My husband enjoyed surf and turf which was superb.The service was first rate but more so not overwhelming meaning we were not bothered constantly. We were disappointed being seated so far away from the view of the lake but it was a busy evening. Also, the parking lot was full up with limited spaces. No valet service on a Wednesday night maybe this needs to change with construction going on. It was a good evening to be out for dinner in the CLE.
