   We had a lovely visit to Pier W. The view of the city is lovely. We ate family style so we could sample lots of dishes. The calamari and crab cakes were standouts!

   We were seated at a small table next to the southern wall of the restaurant. It was a little crowded for four people when there were plenty of larger booths available. I regret I didn’t ask to be re-seated. I appreciate that I was able to customize my entree, however selecting the main dish and sides of my choice. The birthday dessert for my wife was also greatly appreciated. Always a good experience dining here.

   While the atmosphere is great, the lunch menu was fairly limited and basic. A seafood-centric restaurant with two of six entrees being a cheeseburger and chicken sandwich was surprising. It seems like the restaurant is resting on its location and reputation.

   This is the Best Restaurant in all of Cleveland !!! For over 50 years for The Jochum Family has celebrated all of our Meaningful Engagements and Holidays at Pier W !!! Mark the manager is hands on and all of his staff are excellent!!!

   Our favorite place to celebrate our Anniversary! While we were disappointed that they were out of oysters, the chef offered to make us some poached clams in garlic wine butter, which was unbelievable. No trip to Pier W would be complete without taking our photo with "underwater man" as my wife likes to call the diving suit on display.

    The fish was under cooked and was not flakey could not pull it apart with your fork. And when told about it they tried to recook it. I felt like I was at Red lobster and not Pier W. It was around the 20th time we have eaten there. Was very disappointed in the food and ruin our birthday dinner.

    First time and we were impressed! Great view of the lake, friendly and attentive staff, and food was a little pricey but delicious. Definitely looking forward to returning!

    Rude waitress. Rushed us through dinner. Table wasn’t ready when there were tons of open seats. Food was okay. Not worth the money. Definitely over rated.

    We always enjoy dining at Pier W. It is a special occasion place for us. The wait staff is excellent, the food wonderful and the view and vibe of the place is delightful. One person has dietary issues and the lovely server worked with the chef to bring a wonderful meal.

    The food and the service were excellent. Also enjoyed the piano player in the background. While a higher priced restaurant, based on food, service and ambience, it is a good value, especially when you are celebrating a special occasion.

    Clam chowder was gritty, clams were tough and broth was meh. Salad greens were way less than the fresh advertised, olive green in fact, and tasted nearly spoiled. Room smelled fishy. Floor was littered with bread crumbs. Server was scripted and bizarre. For the value? not close to worth it.

    Although we have been to Pier w for dinner on numerous occasions, this was our first time to enjoy their fabulous Sunday brunch. We were not disappointed! It gave us a chance to try many of their wonderful dishes and we will certainly be back again!

    Great place to go for a special occasion. Wonderful view, even on a hazy day. Food at the brunch was fantastic. So much to sample and enjoy. Server was friendly, helpful, efficient on a very busy Sunday.

    It had been several years since I’ve been here. The food is just average for the price and they squeeze people in at peak hours. It was so crowded it took away from the “ambiance”.

    Took the family out for a special staycation meal. We were lucky enough to get a beautiful lake view. Service was impeccable and the food and drinks were great. My youngest son said he had the best meal of his life (filet mignon). The older one was pretty happy too; we both got the twin lobster tails. This was a splurge but well worth it.

    This restaurant is good at best. A bit of a facade for “fine” dining. The staff is great but it’s not Blue Pointe Grille. The crab cakes are some of the best I’ve ever had! With that said the filet, which I ordered rare, was over cooked and had absolutely zero seasoning. No salt, no pepper, no garlic. The chef was more worried about the perfect grill marks, which were instagram worthy, rather than actual flavor. It’s a good restaurant but not what you should expect for the price. It’s a beautiful setting posing as a Michelin star restaurant. If you send a 50 steak back the manager should examine, inspect, and even taste as to why it was sent back. Restaurants that rely on their food not setting would do so. This restaurant is for people who want to think they’re having a great meal because its expensive not because they actually know what good food is.

    Excellent experience as always. Food delicious and creative. Only downside was large party next to us that did not sit entire time we were there, creating difficulty for wait staff to maneuver and was distracting to others. Pianist always enjoyable and adds to the experience!

    It was a perfect evening start to finish! Got in early enough for a window seat. Emory was a terrific waiter- there when you need him & otherwise not. Food was incredible. I had the scallops. Perfectly prepared and delicious with the accompanying veggies. Dessert was panna cotta. Never had it before. Did NOT realize what I’ve been missing all my life! It. A me with blood orange caramel and peanut brittle with macadamia nuts, I believe. My dining partner had short ribs and blueberry sorbet. Both were wonderful.

    We both finished out Fillet Mignon, leaving not a bite on the plate. The service was outstanding and that view was magical, even though we were not by the windows. To top it off we shared the Snickerdoodle Cheesecake, which was to die for. Will definitely be visiting in the future.
